    Okay...just saw the sis.

She is not in any pain.

I could tell, because she could not pass the "goofy" test: When I mistakenly asked about the pin in her ankle, she said, "I have a plate on my ankle". So, I asked her if it was an antique plate. That made her laugh, and I knew she was fine.

I was just watching a vid on another thread, and the music was too intense for me to continue. Some of these "information" vids [designed to deprogram?) can feel like programming of their own.

I used to think this was a really funny clip.

And now I feel a sadness for those who are unwitting/un"will"ing participants in what may be considered one of the greatest crimes in the history of the universes.

Things are certainly getting flipped around and upside down.

The observer within me wishes to see how it reacts to this, now:

For those who still may be questioning what they like:

    1. The nurses at the beginning of the video are really hot: Y / N

    2. What nurses? Ben Stiller has an amazing personal trainer! Y / N

If that is really you, I heartily commend you for your bravery. Are you an actor? By the way, a brown hat doesn't suit you. Mudra could maybe suggest a nice blue, or red! Ha ha.

I want to answer your question above: 2. Although Ben Stiller is not my type. I had never seen that clip before, it's colorful!

LOL -- Oh, that is so funny.

Yes Linda, that is really me.

My friend, "Montreaux", did this to the pic. It was right after Aretha gave her speech for Obama (I voted for that guy; where is he?).

Brown is "supposed" to be a Virgo color, but I agree...it does not work for me.

It does work with the theme of the hotel I was in (the pic is from August of 2008). hehe

    Thanks, Mudra.

And Linda: "Zoolander" is quite colorful, in many respects. Stiller's eulogy to his lost model brothers due to a gas explosion that resulted from a play fight at the pumps is priceless: "Just because we have chiseled abs and stunning features does not mean that we too cannot die in a freak gasoline fight accident". lol

I have not been asked that in a while, but when I was younger, people asked me all of the time (or told me to get into it). While most people peg me as an extrovert, I am actually an intravert, so I need a lot of alone time to recover from crowds of people. I think I would prefer a supporting role. I am a bit too socially phobic for the spotlight. Wink

Edit: Almost forgot that you inspired my "song o' the morning" -

"Well I could have been an actor
    but I wound up here
I just have to look good
I don't have to be clear"

And yes, I almost did the model route and I also considered becoming a newscaster.

    It's just all so shallow.

Tsunami: Docks ripped out in Fort Bragg fishing community

Fort Bragg, California, and the rest of "my world." -Clear Lake is the little blue lake just south of the Mendocino National Forest / north of Santa Rosa (the lake actually wraps around the base of the volcano on three sides).

    <a href="http://illiweb.com/fa/pbucket.gif" target="_blank"><img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/pbucket.gif" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

    "March 11, 2011 | 12:50 pm

Surges of water hit the tiny town of Fort Bragg, 200 miles south of Crescent City, witnesses say, ripping out docks and filling the water with debris, and closing off exits and entrances to the port.

Fort Bragg is an epicenter of California's fishing community, and dozens of boats leave from there to fish crab, black cod and salmon.

"It's pretty brutal," said Charles D. Smith, a fisherman who owns a boat called the Miss Smith. "The ends of the docks are floating around all over the place."

Smith got down to the harbor early in the morning and battened down his hatches. Other fishermen sailed to sea earlier Friday to escape damage in port. There won't be anywhere for them to dock when they return, he said.

"They lucked out in a sense -– they're not going to have to run around cleaning stuff up," he said.

The harbor commission will have to replace the docks and clear away the debris, which could slow down fishing in and out of the harbor, a sleepy place where sea lions often sun themselves. It's currently black cod season.

    "It's a nuisance," Smith said.

John Gebers, who owns Noyo Fishing Center, in the harbor at Fort Bragg, said that four-foot surges are still rolling in and up the river that winds out of Noyo Bay.

"It's strange, it makes it look like the river reverses direction," he said by phone from the riverbank, where 50 people were standing to watch from land. "It's still surging."

Fort Bragg and Crescent City were the two cities hit hardest by the tsunami caused by a 1964 earthquake."
    ___________

I used to have a mortgage on a home. I still see clients, here. Nothing necessarily that sensational on its own, but things are really starting to add up.

I was in Fort Bragg on the same morning that I ended up sliding off of the road and getting stuck in the snow, when I had my out of body experience/past-life (?) regression (I am trying to connect the dots and leave bread crumbs; this is my somewhat self-indulgent thread:

Close enough (all of my vinyl was left in Chicago, and when Dan died, somebody else got to it. Easy come, easy go.

    Stop, Look, and Listen (1983)

I was walking down the street
    Just the other day
    I caught a glimpse
    Of life's vivid reality
I saw a man on the street
Didn't have no clothes or shoes
Here the signs of what they say
Tell me what can we do?

    Everybody better
    Stop look and listen
    Stop look and listen
    Stop look and listen
    To your heart

    The prophets of the times
Are written on street car walls
    Can't you see them crying
    Can't you hear them call

    Mother mother children still
    Got to grow
Father father where do we go

Space age assures us life will
    Go on
    And everybody's tryin' to believe
    Forget the future
    Think about right now
Somehow seem to be the growin'
    Theme

    Stop look and listen
    Stop look and listen
    Stop look and listen
    To your heart

    Tokyo

Met this stranger there, so I was
    feeling somewhat scared
when I vacationed in a land that I
    didn't know that well
but all the ladies there were nice
the gentlemen politely out of line
I kept on thinking how I'd like
    to spend some time
I couldn't make up my mind, still
    waitin' for the right sign

    I was down in Tokyo
    livin' in hotel Imperial
Met this man, he was something
    very strange
said he was a spy from somewhere
    else way far away
he told me things about myself that
    I could tell nobody else
passed this message on to me, said
    spirits move in secrecy
I could almost read the man's mind
    waitin' for the right sign

I really wanna know if I'm gonna go

Donna Summer - Let There Be Peace

    <a href="http://illiweb.com/fa/pbucket.gif" target="_blank"><img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/pbucket.gif" border="0" width="200"></a>

    ______________

    1991

Someone let communication out the door
someone decides it's worth fighting for
why haven't we learned by what we've done before
don't you know history's keeping score
    and just once more
for every boy and every girl let there be love
    all over the world
    for everyone
    under the sun

    (Chorus):
Let there be peace on earth
    let every voice be heard

Le there be peace on earth
    brother to brother
'til it's felt around the world

There's only one world in which we all must live
heaven show us how to forgive
and on that marble wall which holds a million names
generations of dreams gone down in flames
    isn't, isn't it a shame

For every boy and every girl
    under the sun...

    (Chorus):

Let there be peace on earth
(why don't you try just a little harder)
    let every voice be heard
    (my brother)
let there be peace on earth
(oh, if we could just get it together)
'til it's felt around the world...

    We're running out of time
as our leaders roll the dice
    the human spirit cries
    its a precious, precious, precious...sacrifice.

    (Chorus x2)

Save the babies, save the babies
if we only get it together
if we could only get it together
I think we could make it
    think we could make it
    save the children...
    save the children...

Warning - I am letting myself decompress (hence the retreat to my little corner lol).

Let's face it: things have been extreme.

I know it is too soon, but in the land of probabilities, it could have been me, quite easily. This does not mean I do not appreciate the gravity of our situation.

With that said, I searched for "funny things to do when the world ends".

I did not get a lot of really interesting hits, but found one that includes suggestions suchs as:

    •"DANCE anywhere and everywhere
•Find some one and fall in love. Sweeeeet!
•Throw your TV sets out of the balcony
•Disconnect from the internet, especially facebook and connect with real people
•Vegans and vegetarians, please eat meat. We don't wanna waste so much sumptuous meat on apocalypse day :p
    •Remember GOD

Uh, in this case it would be a second congratulations...I could not get in for a while...then again, I have been getting lost in the mists. For reals.

Again, I find myself humbled and expressing much gratitude to you, Mercuriel.

This hits so many layers of meaning all at once.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Okay. Nor Cal dodged the bullet thus far from the first blast.

My gawd, ten years ago I would have thought I had lost my mind, writing about stuff like this.

The clouds were very strange, tonight. They seemed placed, strategically. Very odd qualities.

What interests me even more is the energy coming from above the clouds.

I would love to be near Shasta, right now.

They are very near. I can feel it.

    Is it help?

Is it them taking another look?

The positive energies are running very strong right now.

    Fascinating.

Don't get bit. Stick with the benign. Druids are not snake charmers.

Elemental-ry School: It's not about science, but all connections are important (i.e. you don't have to know the way some things work in order for them to work).
