A volcano in Russia has begun erupting, spurting ash up to four kilometres into the sky.

Aircraft have been warned against flying in the area around the Kizimen volcano on the Kamchatka Peninsula because of the threat posed to engines by the particles of volcanic ash.

Rivers of moisture: super-storm systems now span across the globe
February 6, 2011 – This fascinating satellite picture from the Japan Meteorological Agency of the Southern hemisphere perhaps demonstrates better than any other just how the planet’s weather patterns are rapidly morphing. On February 6, 2011, a band of moisture stretched from Australia to Antarctica. Cyclone Yasi’s length spanned the width of the continental U.S. Arkstorm systems, known as Rivers of water, similarly span across the Pacific to California. The recent Ground hog day winter storm system that struck the U.S. was 2100 miles long. Jupiter’s planetary storm has raged for centuries and in 2011, scientists were alarmed to find the super-storm on Saturn had now morphed to stretch across almost an entire hemisphere of the planet. There is no longer any doubt Earth’s climatic patterns are in the midst of major epochal change.

Iceland Professor Issues Warning About Volcano Tremors
“Seismic activity was detected in the northwestern part of Vatnajökull glacier over the past few days and there is full reason to be on the alert, according to geology professor Páll Einarsson. More earthquake sensors are needed, he said. The series of earthquakes occurred close to Kistufell and Bárdarbunga, which are among the most geologically active areas in the country, ruv.is reports. “A few systems come together there. The largest is the Bárdarbunga system, which includes Veidivötn and Vatnaöldur and stretches way north of Dyngjujáls and west of Askja. Then there is the Grímsvötn system which lies further to the east,” Einarsson explained. He said Bárdarbunga itself and a fissure swarm to the northeast of it seem to be the most active right now. However, it is difficult to tell whether the tremors that are occurring now are a consequence of that eruption or whether another eruption might be coming up. “It is indisputable that the seismic activity is growing steadily in the area—the series of earthquakes over the past few days is an indicator of that. There is full reason to be on the alert.

6.2 quake rattles the Solomon Islands
Posted on February 7, 2011 by The Extinction Protocol
February 7, 2011 – SOLOMON ISLANDS — A magnitude -6.2 earthquake rumbled under the Pacific Ocean south of Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands on Tuesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported, but no tsunami alert was issued. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries, or even that the temblor was felt in the Solomons or to the east in Papua New Guinea. The 6:53 a.m. Tuesday (local time, 1953 Monday GMT) quake was some 257 miles (414 kilometres) deep, the USGS said. The USGS said the quake hit some 65 miles (110 kilometres) southwest of Arawa, the capital of Bougainville province in Papua New Guinea, and about 95 miles (150 kilometres) southwest of Chirovanga in the Solomon Islands. -AP

Tropical Cyclone Zaka heads for New Zealand
Posted on February 7, 2011 by The Extinction Protocol
February 7, 2011 – NEW ZEALAND – A Tropical Cyclone named Zaka by the Nadi Weather Office formed close to Tonga early this morning and is now tracking southwest towards the New Zealand area. Duty Forecaster at the Nadi Weather Office confirmed that the system developed rapidly overnight on the outskirts of Fiji waters at around 1 o’clock this morning. He said the system will not have any direct or indirect effect on the Fiji group due to its current location and projected path. The weather office said the system is now in New Zealand’s area of responsibility and they are closely monitoring Tropical Cycl

Zoo animals freeze to death in coldest winter to hit Mexico in 60 years

February 6, 2011 – CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (AP) — Thirty-five animals at a zoo in the northern Mexico state of Chihuahua have frozen to death during the region’s coldest weather in six decades. Serengeti Zoo owner Alberto Hernandez says 14 parrots, 13 serpents, five iguanas, two crocodiles and a capuchin monkey died. He said Saturday that power failures cut off electrical heating at the zoo in the town of Aldama. Temperatures have dropped to 9 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 13 Celsius) in the area, the coldest weather in 60 years. Power outages have affected much of northern Mexico, forcing factories and businesses to close. Dozens of people are in shelters. Schools have been closed in Chihuahua state but are expected to open Tuesday as the weather warms.” -AP New

Timaru, New Zealand sees hottest day ever recorded
February 6, 2011 – NEW ZEALAND – Timaru has broken the record for their hottest day ever with the temperature hitting a scorching 40.3 degrees shortly before 4pm today. The extreme heat, which WeatherWatch.co.nz predicted yesterday, is connected to the same heat wave that saw Sydney climb to 42 degrees yesterday and then recorded their hottest night ever. WeatherWatch.co.nz says Timaru has hovered around 39 degrees for much of the day but peaked at 40.3, breaking their previous record of 39.7 degrees recorded in February 1973. Weather analyst Richard Green says it was a similar Australian/New Zealand heatwave back in 1973 too. “Sydney reached 27.6 as their overnight low last night, beating their record by a whole degree set in February 1973. That same heat wave also hit Timaru in 1973 and again today that record has been broken by point six of a degree”. The heat has been widespread too with WeatherWatch.co.nz readers reporting highs in the late 30s and around the 40 mark this afternoon across Canterbury. Other centres to melt in the heat today were Christchurch, Alexandra, Ashburton, and Oamaru who all reached 36 officially, although private weather stations within Christrchurch were closer to 40. -Voxy.NZ

A planetary Earth tremor occurred at 21:00 GMT. 2nd event, same time leading us to believe these events are cyclical and increasing. -

Nature is under a scientific directive. It is irreversible. It is the extinction protocol. In 2010, the planet was ravaged by the worst flooding seen in 1000 years. Profound earth-changes have already devastated the planet and even more catastrophic change is yet to come. We are entering a period of extreme volcanism. Chaitén (Chile) erupted after being dormant for 9500 years, Eyjafjallajökull (Iceland) erupted after 187 years, and Sinabung volcano (Indonesia) erupted after 400 years. Earth's magnetic field is faltering as we approach the solar maximum (2012-2013). Earthquakes are intensifying and the planet's climate is becoming increasingly inhospitable and will be soon pushed to the brink of collapse.

Excellent information and perspectives to consider. Great work and research. This is why the Earth Changes thread exist. So that everyone can piece together the facts for themselves oppose to listening to debunking, disinformation, and dismissing things out of concern for how you would be viewed. I have been unable to contribute and upkeep this one as I did initially with the original site via PA1, but all of you have surely knocked it out of the park!. Great job and be safe. For you are doing exactly what you are suppose to be doing right now.

Always put everyone and everything under the light, and you will see what can or cannot withstand its exposure. Be sure to watch behaviors or changes in alternative media conspiracy or information sites and/or it's personnel. It could be quite telling.

thanks linda, I love research and have been doing it for the major part of my life. About the youtube video above, I decided to do some more checking on the source of the video (the woman speaking). Much of the data is accurate but I do have questions about the person presenting the data. Subsequently that puts the data in question as well.

Meaning did she just pull data together and put her own spin on it based on her personal dreams and visions. So, I'm still researching various sources to get a better sense and confirmation on what will happen when this comet gets closer.

I suspect more earthquakes, volcanic eruptions (Yellowstone, the Cascades and Hawaii - along with a number of other volcanoes will be affected). Ken did state that when Mt. Fuji gets active so does Kiluea - which is happening. So we have those two elements off the bat. The earth is also being blasted as the sun acts as a solar capaciter with the comet (expect more CMEs) and more stress on earth's magnetic shield. The weather patters are set up where there are super storms that have been moving across the planet. Floods everywhere and lots of snow. Will a pole shift happen in a few weeks? It's very possible.

Ha, it's hard to keep cool, knowing the pole shift may be imminent, but, like you said, ai yii yii. But that's why we have gathered here...to assist each other and to jump to what outcome we want. Mudra is right about the time frame starting in March. The pole shift has a mirror, the soul shift. The young people know about it, they knew about it before coming here. They will continue life...so here we are and we might as well enjoy the ride...don't worry, be happy. Enjoy your lives, everyone! Cheers! Where's the Jester?

    Icelandic volcano 'set to erupt'
Scientists in Iceland are warning that another volcano looks set to erupt and threatening to spew-out a pall of dust that would dwarf last year's event.

    08 Feb 2011

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/iceland/8311924/Icelandic-volcano-set-to-erupt.html

Geologists detected the high risk of a new eruption after evaluating an increased swarm of earthquakes around the island's second largest volcano.
Pall Einarsson, a professor of geophysics at the University of Iceland, says the area around Bárdarbunga is showing signs of increased activity, which provides "good reason to worry".
He told the country's national TV station that a low number of seismometer measuring devices in the area is making it more difficult to determine the scale and likely outcome of the current shifts.
But he said there was "every reason to worry" as the sustained earthquake tremors to the north east of the remote volcano range are the strongest recorded in recent times and there was "no doubt" the lava was rising.
The geologist complained that the lack of coverage from measuring devices means he cannot accurately detect the depth and exact location of the increased number of localised earth movements.
    RELATED ARTICLES
    Eruption 'a rehearsal' 24 Apr 2010
"This is the most active area of the country if we look at the whole country together," he told the Icelandic TV News. "There is no doubt that lava there is slowly growing, and the seismicity of the last few days is a sign of it.
"We need better measurements because it is difficult to determine the depth of earthquakes because it is in the middle of the country and much of the area is covered with glaciers."
Respected volcano watcher Jón Frímann, said on his volcano watch blog: "After the Eyjafjallajökull volcano eruption in the year 2010 it seems that geologists in Iceland take earthquake swarms more seriously then they did before."
He explained the Icelandic Met Office had on Sunday warned of the increased risk of a eruption in north-west side of Vatnajökull glacier due to the high earthquake activity in the area, and added: "It is clear that only time is going to tell us if there is going to be a eruption in this area soon or not."
The last recorded eruption of Bárdarbunga was in 1910, although volcanologists believe its last major eruption occurred in 1477 when it produced a large ash and pumice fallout. It also produced the largest known lava flow during the past 10,000 years on earth.
It is the second largest volcano on Iceland and is directly above the mantle plume of molten rock.
By comparison, Bárdarbunga dwarves the Eyjafjallajökull volcano, which shutdown most of Europe's airspace last year after its ash cloud drifted across the continent's skies.

Growing Fears in Japan As 2 Volcanoes Erupt Again

    http://www.arirang.co.kr/News/News_View.asp?nseq=112376&code=Ne2&category=2

Two volcanoes on Japan's southern island of Kyushu erupted on Tuesday.
A volcano at Sakurajima, the Minamidake crater, erupted early Tuesday followed by an eruption at Shinmoedake in the afternoon.
Shinmoedake erupted for the first time in 52 years last month and has erupted more than ten times since.

[Interview : Nearby resident] "This is crazy! Strong winds suddenly came and blew everything away."

Amid growing fears that a massive eruption could still be on its way the latest eruptions covered nearby villages with rocks and ash.
The two volcanoes spewed plumes of smoke and ash up to 2-thousand meters into the air resulting in multiple injuries and destroyed homes.

[Interview : Nearby resident] "The volcanic ash keeps piling up here, no matter how much we shovel it away."

According to Japan's Meteorological Agency, a lava dome in the Shinmoedake crater is growing and could spill out creating a lava flow.
Authorities therefore are maintaining a restricted zone of four kilometers around the volcano.
A level 3 alert is being maintained for both regions with 5 being the highest level when evacuations are carried out.
And volcanic experts are warning that the recent eruptions on Shinmoedake and other peaks in Japan resemble the highly destructive blasts that occurred 300 years ago which killed more than 30 people.

Tropical Cyclone threats for Australia and simultaneous snow/ thundersnow deluges in N/E USA imminent around 11-12th Feb
Piers Corbyn astrophysicist warned on 8th Jan that the Extra Top Red Weather warning period of 10-12th Feb, announced on 4th Feb is likely to include Tropical Cyclone formation North /East of Queensland as well as renewed snow and thundersnow in North/East USA.
The Tropical Cyclone Formation/Rapid development period 28-31 Jan for likely formation NE of Queensland was dramatically confirmed by TC YASI - simultaneous with massive blizzards in N/E USA also forecasted by Piers Corbyn - see WA News No3 http://www.weatheraction.com/docs/WANews11No3.pdf , following which WeatherAction announced dates for 'ETs' - Extreme Top Red Weather Warning periods - in the remainder of Feb: http://www.weatheraction.com/displayarticle.asp?a=305&c=5
"These type of weather patterns are continuing" said Piers; "There are TWO main danger 'ET' (Extra Top Red) periods of TC formation &/or severe thunderstorm development in Australia with the first one around 11th-12th Feb and as happened around Jan 31st/Feb 1st we expect simultaneous snow / thundersnow deluges in N/E USA.
The detailed forecast trial statement for this next ET period in Australia is:-

10-13 FEB (esp 11-12th) 2011 ET - Extreme Top Red Period. Formation probability 80%

One or Two Tropical Cyclone Formations likely which could reach TC3 or TC4.

Most probable region NE of Queensland / Coral, Sea landfall / near landfall LIKELY (70%)

Tropical Depression/Cyclone formation is also likely in Southern Indian Ocean NW of Australia.

"Solar-Lunar driven major jet stream and Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone blocking will continue at times through February and indeed the whole of 2011 giving more extreme weather around the world – including further Tropical Cyclone hits and floods in Australia and we will issue forecasts as appropriate", said Piers.
"The CO2 warmists have failed and will continue to fail to predict anything and are a costly millstone holding-back western economies and world development. These extreme dangerous and costly events are nothing whatsoever to do with so called man-made climate change which is failed pseudo-science based on fraudulent data and which has now morphed into a political cult based on nothing other than blind faith and utterly biased and dishonest media propaganda."

"The stance of the BBC and certain arrogant and ignorant newspapers has more in common with the Mubarak regime in Egypt than balanced presentation of evidence-based science and as long as they hold sway the advance of science will be held back and the world will increasingly suffer from wasteful profiteering green plunder".

Freak flash-flood drowns more than 200 sheep in Wales
February 9, 2011 – WALES - A farmer says he is “devastated” after seeing more than 200 of his elite sheep drowned in a flash flood. It is the second time in just over a year that Eryl Morris has been hit by the River Dee bursting its banks. The flood, early on Sunday, has cost him many thousands of pounds and the pride of his flock. Mr. Morris was away in Buckinghamshire helping a sheep farming friend when millions of gallons of water poured on to the rich Bangor-on-Dee grazing land he has farmed for more than a decade. Almost too upset to speak from the south of England yesterday, he said: “I am totally devastated by this – I have lost a hell of a lot sheep.” His wife Glenys said: “It was 12 hours of flash flooding that did the damage and it started about 1am. “When I heard on the radio that Bala was flooded I knew we were in trouble too. “The same thing happened to us in November, 2009, but although we lost some sheep then – about 40-50 – it wasn’t anything like this. “Altogether 230 of our sheep have died and another 70 were saved by the fire service and other people who were going out there in canoes I think. This is a terrible blow, not only because of the cost of losing the sheep, which must run into thousands of pounds, but also the type of animals they were. –The Leader.co.uk

Solar activity increases- magnetosphere displays more chaotic patterns
February 9, 2011 – Sunspots have increased on the solar surface and according to Space Weather, solar activity is heating up. Formerly quiet sunspot 1153 is suddenly crackling with C- and M-class solar flares. NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded this eruption during the waning hours of Feb. 8th. Because sunspot 1153 is rounding the sun’s western horizon, these eruptions are not Earth-directed. They are, however, Venus-directed. The second planet from the sun could receive glancing blows from solar plasma clouds in the days ahead. –Space Weather

North Texas Could See More Rolling Blackouts
The rolling outages only lasted a part of one day. Increasing temperatures and power conservation helped lessen the need for continued blackouts. But with North Texas seeing the coldest temperatures in 30 years on Thursday, ERCOT is warning people about the possibility of outages returning.

Officials with ERCOT have predicted record high electricity demands on Thursday morning, perhaps even higher than the demand that was seen last week. The agency has purchased extra generation capacity for the cold snap, but it may not be enough to prevent more rolling outages if demand becomes extreme.

To help prevent more rolling outages, ERCOT has urged Texans to conserve power, and offered some tips for doing so without creating dangerous conditions for yourself or your family. Keep the thermostat as low as possible and dress in layers or use blankets for warmth. Turn off and unplug any appliances that are not in use. Close shades and blinds to prevent losing heat through the windows. Do not use large appliances, like the dishwasher or washing machine, until later in the day.

Temperatures are often at their coldest around 7:00 a.m. and, likewise, the demand for electricity typically peaks between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. each morning. It is particularly crucial to conserve power during this hour in order to prevent the rolling blackouts from coming back to North Texas.

Frigid air, snow, worry ranchers in Plains, South
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Icy blasts tugged temperatures to well below zero in chunks of the South early Thursday, leaving ranchers and farmers fretting about their animals after a winter storm dropped 2 feet of snow on parts of Arkansas and Oklahoma and left at least three people dead.

Forecasters predicted lows of minus 11 degrees in northwest Arkansas and minus 10 degrees in parts of Oklahoma. But by early morning, temperatures had dipped to minus 18 in Fayetteville and to minus 27 in Bartlesville, Okla., according to the National Weather Service.

In an area of the nation unaccustomed to such snow and subzero temperatures, those numbers had cattlemen such as Paul Marinoni crossing their fingers that pregnant cows won't give birth during the coldest hours. The newborns could stick to the ground, much like tongues on a flagpole, and die, Marinoni said.
"How do you prevent it?" Marinoni, 70, said from his farm outside Fayetteville. "You can't."

He hoped to check on his cows at sunrise, provided he could get to them through the snow. In the meantime, some cows have sprouted fins of icicles down their backs.
"There ain't no way to keep them warm," he said.

The frigid temperatures followed a powerful blizzard that howled through the nation's midsection Wednesday and made its way into the Deep South, where it brought a mix of rain and snow to some areas. The heaviest snow was concentrated in the northeast corner of Oklahoma, where the towns of Colcord and Spavinaw got 22 and 23 inches, respectively. The deepest snow was reported near the village of Jay, with 25 inches.

This is interesting to note for a couple of reasons. Last year a gas line blast occurred in Connecticut on February 7, beginning. a 6 month trend of gas line explosions. What , may be more revealing is the Chile earthquake that occurred on February 27, 2010. Now, if these Geo events are being influenced by an object in space sithin the Suns gravitational pull, then we should see a pattern based on that objects rotational pattern (granted the may change a bit). In other words, if we see another quake around the first of March then we can conclude that these events are happening in a specific window of time annually, due to where the space object is annually in comparison to the Earth. Its interesting that in the article above, the word "shift" was used to describe part of the causation of the gas line blast.

The same may go for influences on the poles. A 40 km average speed annuslly equates to .109 km per day. So, If we can identify an increase in the pole movement speed prior to an event last year, we can observe the same this year.

Just thinking out loud here folks, good day

N.Korea 'Preparing for Eruption of Mt. Baekdu'
North Korea has started preparing for a possible eruption of Mt. Baekdu, Radio Free Asia reported Wednesday. Quoting sources in Ryanggang Province, North Korea, the station said two geography professors of Kim Jung-suk University of Education involved in a Mt. Baekdu expedition team have recently been to Pyongyang to attend a seminar on Mt. Baekdu volcanic activity.

They said there were two evacuation drills in Samjiyon, Taehongdan and Pochon, Ryanggang Province since last fall.

    Icelandic volcano 'set to erupt'

Scientists in Iceland are warning that another volcano looks set to erupt and threatening to spew-out a pall of dust that would dwarf last year's event.

    6:38PM GMT 08 Feb 2011

Geologists detected the high risk of a new eruption after evaluating an increased swarm of earthquakes around the island's second largest volcano.

Pall Einarsson, a professor of geophysics at the University of Iceland, says the area around Bárdarbunga is showing signs of increased activity, which provides "good reason to worry".He told the country's national TV station that a low number of seismometer measuring devices in the area is making it more difficult to determine the scale and likely outcome of the current shifts.

Very interesting thought, Lucus from therabbithole2.com believes the San Bruno blast was from an inbound meteor or asteroid that was seen flashing across the sky that evening. Of course the official explanation was a gas explosion. So it would be nice to know if anyone saw anything unusual in the skies at the time of the other alleged gas explosions.

    The Earth Is Collapsing…In Places
Posted On January 27th, 2011 by Stewart

There is a story out there that is not being reported by conventional media. The Indo-Australian tectonic Plate is collapsing. This process began when the Illuminati detonated a thermonuclear device at a strategic weak spot off the coast of Indonesia in 2004. Now, extreme fracturing has occurred in many places in that region and beyond.

In the western portion of the plate, Pakistan has suffered a series of major quakes and floods with no relief. In fact, the altitude of the mountains in Pakistan has dropped by some 20 feet/ 6 meters. This side of the plate is tilting downward, while the eastern side is rising up….the Lemurian side. This caused the major quakes in New Zealand, Tongs, Fiji and Vanuatu. These will continue and be followed by major volcanic eruptions in the region.

Meanwhile, the entire island nation of Indonesia is sinking. After the last major quake there, some coastal areas near Jakarta have subsided also 20 feet/ 6 meters and still dropping. Floods there are occurring in locations that historically have never had them. We see the same thing in Australia, India and Bangla Desh.

This major Earth reconstruction will not stop at this point. How do you hold back a tectonic plate? However, the even worse news is that since all the tectonic plates connect to each other like a puzzle, a domino effect has begun where they are all now shifting to accommodate the changes in the Indo-Australian plate.

The immediate affects will be along the Pacific Rim basin and the rest of Central Asia. Iran has been quaking for months. Huge tremors are happening weekly in Afghanistan, Tibet, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Pakistan. These may eventually awaken old, dormant volcanoes in that region.

Religious people will proclaim this as End Times punishment from God. New Agers will say that this is ET intervention to clean up the planet. But, the truth is, is the result of purposeful manipulation for sinister results. Human beings are behind this. Or, rather, demonic humans. The show has just begun.

To be specific, this flooding is the direct result of the island sinking - the water is coming from the ocean not rains.
