Well it is scrambled again for me and I'm on Safari. Wonder what is going on here?

This is so odd as my Firefox is fine but not Safari. hmmm?

I have done nothing to the forum. I have not seen mercuriel around. So far as I can see no settings have been changed on the forum.

I've been using Firefox 3.6.8 and I have not seen a problem

Mu D Ra, keep moving, nothing to see here

But for the then and now others:

Recall arrival here from from http://mistsofavalon.invisionplus.net/?mforum=mistsofavalon&

Aside from a too large banner, Everything Worked Fine,

Regardless of browsers used, or updated this or that, blah and two more blahs

Then the "messing" with site parameters

and the ensueing glitchville for many of Us,

not to mention who knows how many new "visitors" arrived

    to this jumbled mess .......

Is there a "Reset To Default" on the Admin Panel ?

In the "daily surf" and ALL the general LinkAges,

Mist is the ONLY place this happens.

Mercuriel is the only one with back end access. I don't even know who the ISP is for this site. Mercuriel has not logged on since 3rd Aug - he has higher RL priorities at the moment.

There is a "reset" to defaults - but like I said - no one has been changing the settings, so there isn't anything to reset.

    Siri ,

Have you tried to upgrade Firefox to 3.6.9 ?
This handled it for me .

The site opens up fine also with Safari 4.1.2

Seems this handled it for the majority here.

    Love from me

Siri it's most likely your browser having trouble reading the phpBB forum software hence you are only getting scrabbled images at the mists.

I'd recommend trying a different browser. Google Chrome is quite stable. Also clear your cache.

    Thank You Pals,

But consider what has already been noted:

    1. Site worked fine at first (even w/ "older" FF).

    2. Then and Current version of FF work EVERYWHERE but here.

    {Note Carol's #31}

    3. An "older" Operating System will only "up-grade" Browsers so far,
where it's at now, in this case.
Not currently in the market to buy a new O S, period, let alone
so this site might then work.

    4. The main consideration for Admin was "visitors" that might
    get this same "reception."

All good points and well made.

There isn't much we can do about this. Currently my understanding it is working for most people.

Both of my broswers seem to be working fine now and I didn't change anything. I don't know why the scrambled text ended up all centered. It was a random thing and somewhat odd. Question A mystery.

Siri did you try clearing your cache in Firefox?

Because this site had no glitches before it could be your browser's memory that reached it's capacity. So to gain back some memory space clearing your cache may work.
