a side note:

Today was the first sunrise seen up here in the Snoqualime pass area in a while...
And by the looks of all the holes the local Groundhog's ~ are digging ~ up and about here in North Bend, Washington ...

It appears there will be at least 6 more weeks of winter coming...

STILL ~ A QUIET SUN: Solar activity is very low. None of the sunspots on the Earthside of the sun is actively erupting,
and NOAA forecasters estimate no more than a 1% chance of M-class flares during the next 24 hours.

(special note ~ this is a good time to assimilate all that you have absorbed from these recent cosmic solar baths,
so take care of good yourself ~ be easy and gentle with each other ~ cos lots more is coming around the bend

Shortly after a significant halo coronal mass ejection (CME) was observed and it appears will have components heading earth's way as the filament was in an earth facing position with the majority of the mass heading slightly above or northerly, however this still may deliver a glancing blow to the earth Feb 9."
