    Thank-you for posting this, mudra. I think there is something very significant about Sirius, Aldebaran, M-42, and the Constellation of Orion. My religious background includes some isolated statements from the mid 1800's regarding 'Heaven' being located beyond the Orion Nebula. My present science-fictional-speculation is that all of the above might be a reptilian-realm from which our 'human' souls originated -- and that humanity is far from home -- and in rebellion against the 'Government of God' located somewhere in or around Orion. I have no way of knowing if this is indeed the case, but I will continue to conceptually model this view into the foreseeable future.

    Wow, Danny Wilten has done some amazing work there. It really does all seem to add up, doesn't it. I've looked at images of the Orion Nebula before and you really can pick out some amazing images if you look closely enough, although I saw things a little differently to him haha.
