    The Heart's Code

Post  Carol on Wed Feb 15, 2012 9:25 pm

    The Heart's Code

Energy and information are the same thing. Everything that exists has energy and energy is full of information and stored info-energy is what makes up cellular memory. Based on the theories of research from the field of biology and other sciences, all systems are, by their nature, manifestations of the energy that contains the information (memory) of what they are and how they function. From the information in the tiniest parts within a single cell, to the exchange of information between family members around the dinner table, to the energy bouncing back and forth between the stars and planets, everything exists in a continuous info-energetic relationship. Since all systems are information containing energy 'stuff', all systems constantly exchange memories.

What is called mind or consciousness or intentions are really manifestations of information containing energy. Information is what gives a system form and structure, and energy is the force that moves a system and connects all aspects of a system and helps systems communicate and connect. Since all systems are connected and share forms of the same energy, all systems share common memories.

It is the heart which is the primary generator of info-energy.

The heart is constantly sending out patterns of info-energy that regulate organs and cells throughout the body. Every cell in the body is literally bathed in the info-energy conducted from and by the heart. The heart is central to our system's recollection of it's life; it's memory. All cells store info-energetic memories, and our heart, by nature of it's immense power, millions of cells throbbing in unison, and central location in our body, is the central organ that constantly pulsates info-energy, from, between and to all other organs and cells. Because of the heart's code and the cellular memories with which it deals, every cell in our body becomes a holographic or complete representation of our energetic heart.

    The Brain

The brain has devised extensions of itself, electromagnetic energy devices such as cellular phones, computers and other increasingly rapid but less personal communication systems perfectly suited for it's own enhancement and that speak in a language of it's not too subtle energy. The heart has been mostly left out of the alliance between the brain and it's body. The heart's own delicate way of thinking and feeling about the world and the info-energetic cellular memories with which it may be uniquely conversant are often ignored by cardiologists trained to think about the heart but about how the heart might think.
“ As a man thinks in his heart, so he is”

Brain cells and heart cells are completely identical.

If we allow the brain to think it is 'us' instead of a key part of us, we cannot learn the true nature of what it means to be human. Survival of the fittest has come to mean survival of the most 'brainy'. The brain thinks it's high level competitive high level energy is able to cope with the pressures of life. The idea that the heart may also be able to think, is met with incredulous anger and dismissive mockery, believes that it's own heart, even if it does think, must be thinking much too slowly and sentimentally to be of any use in it's daily wars for survival and enhancement.

Does the heart wonder if we can survive the world our brain has created?
Could we put more heart into our life by quieting the passionate restless brain?

    To be continued........

    Continuation

The brain sees states such as deep meditation and thinks “you are killing me” because the will is forcing it to shut down some of it's mind chatter. The brain is also full of fear and it's job is the keep the body alive by sending out alert signals. It is constantly vigilant. It is also what is called in medicine personality type A which often leads to heart failure as the brain is relentless. The heart is personality type B which is more easy going, relaxed and gentle.

The brain's interest lies in staying alive whereas the heart's interest lies in the joy of living.

According to Dr. Pearsall, the brain sees the outside world as a problem to be dealt with and most of the time sees that same world as working against or conspiring against it. This is evident by the saying “It's you and me against the world.” The brain is ever-vigilant in it's attempts to control everything around it.

The heart is wise enough to know that the brain cannot change or control other brains but it also knows it the brain will listen, it's brain can learn to think about other people in a more tolerant, gentle, accepting manner. The heart knows while you cannot change people, you can change the way you think about people.
Through the heart's code information is sent to each and every cell in the body. The heart thinks and the cells remember. The vital force or life force moves systems because it contains the information that tells systems how to move because energy is the ability to do work. This info-energy tells the cells how to do their job, therefore it is intelligent.

Science is left with a paradox that while things appear to be separate they act as if they are unified and in the miniscule quantum universe in which human body cells are a part, time, mass, energy and information are one and the same and that objects retain their info-energetic memory of their connection and any other way of perceiving is illusion.

There is a force that science does not yet have the tools to measure, but that open-minded scientists are willing to accept is present and this force requires no travel time and therefore is capable of exerting it's influence instantaneously across space and time with no detectable tangible traces. It is possible that the heart's code and the cellular memories within it are manifestations of this vital force that has eluded researchers. The heart thinks and the cells remember and this force moves through both systems because it contains the information that tells every system in the body how to move and how to do it's job.

Body cells are part of the miniscule quantum universe and there exists no barriers, time is relative, mass, energy and information are one in the same and objects once connected forever retain the info-energetic memory of that connection. The separation that humans think they see is mere illusion. Mental effort from the brain seems to get in the way of this subtle energy connection so that thinking hard about subtle energy seems to loosen it's influence, while just being seems to make it's influence stronger. If we feel that we are part of a system within other systems and stop thinking we are separate it is easier to feel through the separation and perceive the connection.

Our cells contain memories of a quantum paradise, a less selfish and more profoundly pleasurably connection time. Did you know that when confronted by a pleasant stimulus such as a beautiful flower or sunset or a lovely child, our pupils become large black pools and this is the heart using the body to drink in more of the energy. When two lovers gaze into one another's eyes, each absorbs the energy coming from the eyes of the other and the image of each lover dissolves into the black pupil pool of the other.

Think of the black holes of space and how they absorb all the light love energy around them. The black part in the center of the eye is where this energy passes into the retina then is circulated from the heart to all the cells where this is ultimately stored as a cellular memory; an imprint on every cell.

You are forever in an act of info-energy intercourse that recreates who how you are. The energy is collected by another system and our energy alters the the pattern and resonation of energy in that system. That system then sends out this newly modified form of energy that has now become stored as a part of our energy. This happens with every beat of our heart.

The heart's EMF is five thousand times more powerful than the electromagnetic field created by the brain and it is possible that the heart, because of it's immense energy potential is the primary sender of info-energy. This same energy fill up all of space in the form of bundles of vibrating energy which can manifest themselves as both a particle and a wave. Energy and matter are the same thing and are both manifestations of the info -energy. Physical things may look material but they are mostly space.

Therefore matter, energy and information are inseparable. It is possible that the heart, because of it's immense energy potential is the primary conductor of this vital energy. One woman told the doctor that before the surgeons took the heart from her brain dead son, she could see an aura like a mist in the center of his chest and after the heart was removed she could not longer see it.

As my friend wrote, "there is so much more in this book concerning the heart. I could write volumes but I couldn't put it all here. This different view of the heart is being offered to all those who want to change their perspective of seeing the world only through the brain and the physical mind and begin to feel it with the heart."

    The Resonant Heart
    R. McCraty, R. T. Bradley, D. Tomasino

    The Body's Heart Field

Many believe that conscious awareness originates in the brain alone. Recent scientific research suggests that consciousness actually emerges from the brain and body acting together. A growing body of evidence suggests that the heart plays a particularly significant role in this process.

Far more than a simple pump, as was once believed, the heart is now recognized by scientists as a highly complex system with its own functional "brain." Research in the new discipline of neurocardiology shows that the heart is a sensory organ and a sophisticated center for receiving and processing information. The nervous system within the heart (or "heart brain") enables it to learn, remember, and make functional decisions independent of the brain's cerebral cortex. Moreover, numerous experiments have demonstrated that the signals the heart continuously sends to the brain influence the function of higher brain centers involved in perception, cognition, and emotional processing.

In addition to the extensive neural communication network linking the heart with the brain and body, the heart also communicates information to the brain and throughout the body via electromagnetic field interactions. The heart generates the body's most powerful and most extensive rhythmic electromagnetic field. Compared to the electromagnetic field produced by the brain, the electrical component of the heart's field is about 60 times greater in amplitude, and permeates every cell in the body. The magnetic component is approximately 5000 times stronger than the brain's magnetic field and can be detected several feet away from the body with sensitive magnetometers.

The heart generates a continuous series of electromagnetic pulses in which the time interval between each beat varies in a dynamic and complex manner. The heart's ever-present rhythmic field has a powerful influence on processes throughout the body. We have demonstrated, for example, that brain rhythms naturally synchronize to the heart's rhythmic activity, and also that during sustained feelings of love or appreciation, the blood pressure and respiratory rhythms, among other oscillatory systems, entrain to the heart's rhythm.

We propose that the heart's field acts as a carrier wave for information that provides a global synchronizing signal for the entire body. Specifically, we suggest that as pulsing waves of energy radiate out from the heart, they interact with organs and other structures. The waves encode or record the features and dynamic activity of these structures in patterns of energy waveforms that are distributed throughout the body. In this way, the encoded information acts to in-form (literally, give shape to) the activity of all bodily functions--to coordinate and synchronize processes in the body as a whole. This perspective requires an energetic concept of information, in which patterns of organization are enfolded into waves of energy of system activity distributed throughout the system as a whole.

Basic research at the Institute of HeartMath shows that information pertaining to a person's emotional state is also communicated throughout the body via the heart's electromagnetic field. The rhythmic beating patterns of the heart change significantly as we experience different emotions. Negative emotions, such as anger or frustration, are associated with an erratic, disordered, incoherent pattern in the heart's rhythms. In contrast, positive emotions, such as love or appreciation, are associated with a smooth, ordered, coherent pattern in the heart's rhythmic activity (see graph). In turn, these changes in the heart's beating patterns create corresponding changes in the structure of the electromagnetic field radiated by the heart, measurable by a technique called spectral analysis.

More specifically, we have demonstrated that sustained positive emotions appear to give rise to a distinct mode of functioning, which we call psychophysiological coherence. During this mode, heart rhythms exhibit a sine wave-like pattern and the heart's electromagnetic field becomes correspondingly more organized.

    ■ At the physiological level, this mode is characterized by increased efficiency and harmony in the activity and interactions of the body's systems.1

    ■ Psychologically, this mode is linked with a notable reduction in internal mental dialogue, reduced perceptions of stress, increased emotional balance, and enhanced mental clarity, intuitive discernment, and cognitive performance.

Emotions Reflected in Heart Rhythm Patterns

In sum, our research suggests that psychophysiological coherence is important in enhancing consciousness-- both for the body's sensory awareness of the information required to execute and coordinate physiological function, and also to optimize emotional stability, mental function, and intentional action. Furthermore, as we discuss next, there is experimental evidence that psychophysiological coherence may increase our awareness of and sensitivity to others around us. The Institute of HeartMath has created practical technologies and tools that all people can use to increase coherence.

    Heart Field Interactions Between Individuals

Most people think of social communication solely in terms of overt signals expressed through language, voice qualities, gestures, facial expressions, and body movements. However, there is now evidence that a subtle yet influential electromagnetic or "energetic" communication system operates just below our conscious awareness. Energetic interactions likely contribute to the "magnetic" attractions or repulsions that occur between individuals, and also affect social exchanges and relationships. Moreover, it appears that the heart's field plays an important role in communicating physiological, psychological, and social information between individuals.

Experiments conducted at the Institute of HeartMath have found remarkable evidence that the heart's electromagnetic field can transmit information between people. We have been able to measure an exchange of heart energy between individuals up to five feet apart. We have also found that one person's brain waves can actually synchronize to another person's heart. Furthermore, when an individual is generating a coherent heart rhythm, synchronization between that person's brain waves and another person's heartbeat is more likely to occur. These findings have intriguing implications, suggesting that individuals in a psychophysiologically coherent state become more aware of the information encoded in the heart fields of those around them.

The results of these experiments have led us to infer that the nervous system acts as an "antenna," which is tuned to and responds to the electromagnetic fields produced by the hearts of other individuals. We believe this capacity for exchange of energetic information is an innate ability that heightens awareness and mediates important aspects of true empathy and sensitivity to others. Furthermore, we have observed that this energetic communication ability can be intentionally enhanced, producing a much deeper level of nonverbal communication, understanding, and connection between people. There is also intriguing evidence that heart field interactions can occur between people and animals.

In short, energetic communication via the heart field facilitates development of an expanded consciousness in relation to our social world.

    The Heart's Field and Intuition

There are also new data suggesting that the heart's field is directly involved in intuitive perception, through its coupling to an energetic information field outside the bounds of space and time. Using a rigorous experimental design, we found compelling evidence that both the heart and brain receive and respond to information about a future event before the event actually happens. Even more surprising was our finding that the heart appears to receive this "intuitive" information before the brain. This suggests that the heart's field may be linked to a more subtle energetic field that contains information on objects and events remote in space or ahead in time. Called by Karl Pribram and others the "spectral domain," this is a fundamental order of potential energy that enfolds space and time, and is thought to be the basis for our consciousness of "the whole." (See www.heartmath.org for more detail.)

    Social Fields

In the same way that the heart generates energy in the body, we propose that the social collective is the activator and regulator of the energy in social systems.

A body of groundbreaking work shows how the field of socioemotional interaction between a mother and her infant is essential to brain development, the emergence of consciousness, and the formation of a healthy self-concept. Coherent organization of the mother-child relations that make up this field is critical. This occurs when interactions are charged, most importantly, with positive emotions (love, joy, happiness, excitement, appreciation, et cetera), and are patterned as highly synchronized, reciprocal exchanges between these two individuals. These patterns are imprinted in the child's brain and thus influence psychosocial function throughout life. (See Allan Schore, Affect Regulation and the Origin of the Self.)

Moreover, in a longitudinal study of 46 social groups, one of us (Bradley) documented how information about the global organization of a group--the group's collective consciousness-- appears to be transmitted to all members by an energetic field of socio-emotional connection. Data on the relationships between each pair of members was found to provide an accurate image of the social structure of the group as a whole. Coherent organization of the group's social structure is associated with a network of positively charged emotions connecting all members. This network of positive emotions appears to constitute a field of energetic connection into which information about the group's social structure is encoded and distributed throughout the group. Remarkably, an accurate picture of the group's overall social structure was obtained from information only about relationships between pairs of individuals. We believe the only way this is possible is if information about the organization of the whole group is distributed to all members of the group via an energetic field. Such correspondence in information between parts and the whole is consistent with the principle of holographic organization.2

    Synthesis and Implications

Some organizing features of the heart field, identified in numerous studies at HeartMath, may also be shared by those of our hypothesized social field. Each is a field of energy in which the waveforms of energy encode the features of objects and events as energy moves throughout the system. This creates a nonlocal order of energetic information in which each location in the field contains an enfolded image of the organization of the whole system at that moment. The organization and processing of information in these energy fields can best be understood in terms of quantum holographic principles.3

Another commonality is the role of positive emotions, such as love and appreciation, in generating coherence both in the heart field and in social fields. When the movement of energy is intentionally regulated to form a coherent, harmonious order, information integrity and flow are optimized. This, in turn, produces stable, effective system function, which enhances health, psychosocial well-being, and intentional action in the individual or social group.

Heart coherence and social coherence may also act to mutually reinforce each other. As individuals within a group increase psychophysiological coherence, psychosocial attunement may be increased, thereby increasing the coherence of social relations. Similarly, the creation of a coherent social field by a group may help support the generation and maintenance of psychophysiological coherence in its individual members. An expanded, deepened awareness and consciousness results--of the body's internal physiological, emotional, and mental processes, and also of the deeper, latent orders enfolded into the energy fields that surround us. This is the basis of self-awareness, social sensitivity, creativity, intuition, spiritual insight, and understanding of ourselves and all that we are connected to. It is through the intentional generation of coherence in both heart and social fields that a critical shift to the next level of planetary consciousness can occur--one that brings us into harmony with the movement of the whole.

    Endnotes:

1 Correlates of physiological coherence include: increased synchronization between the two branches of the autonomic nervous system, a shift in autonomic balance toward increased parasympathetic activity, increased heart-brain synchronization, increased vascular resonance, and entrainment between diverse physiological oscillatory systems.

2 Holographic organization is based on a field concept of order, in which information about the organization of an object as a whole is encoded as an interference pattern in energy waveforms distributed throughout the field. This makes it possible to retrieve information about the object as a whole from any location within the field.

3 The term "quantum," as used in quantum holography, does not mean that this kind of energetic information processing is understood in terms of the principles of quantum physics. Rather, quantum holography is a special, nondeterministic form of holographic organization based on a discrete unit of energetic information called a logon or a "quantum" of information.

New data suggest the heart's field is directly involved in intuitive perception-- and may receive this information before the brain.

Electrophysiological Evidence of Intuition: Part 1.
The Surprising Role of the Heart

ROLLIN McCRATY, Ph.D.,1 MIKE ATKINSON,1 and RAYMOND TREVOR BRADLEY, Ph.D.2

    ABSTRACT

    Objectives
: This study aims to contribute to a scientific understanding of intuition, a process by which information
normally outside the range of conscious awareness is perceived by the psychophysiological systems.
The first objective, presented in two empirical papers (Part 1 and Part 2), was to replicate and extend the results
of previous experiments demonstrating that the body can respond to an emotionally arousing stimulus seconds
before it is actually experienced. The second objective, to be presented in a third paper (Part 3), is to develop
a theory that explains how the body receives and processes information involved in intuitive perception.

Design: The study used a counterbalanced crossover design, in which 30 calm and 15 emotionally arousing
pictures were presented to 26 participants under two experimental conditions: a baseline condition of normal
    psychophysiologic function and a condition of physiological coherence. Primary measures included: skin conductance;
the electroencephalogram (EEG), from which cortical event-related potentials and heartbeat-evoked
potentials were derived; and the electrocardiogram (ECG), from which cardiac decelerations/accelerations were
derived. These measures were used to investigate where and when in the brain and body intuitive information
    is processed.

Results: The study’s results are presented in two parts. The main findings in relation to the heart’s role in
intuitive perception presented here are: (1) surprisingly, the heart appears to receive and respond to intuitive
information; (2) a significantly greater heart rate deceleration occurred prior to future emotional stimuli compared
to calm stimuli; (3) there were significant gender differences in the processing of prestimulus information.

Part 2 will present results indicating where in the brain intuitive information is processed and data showing
that prestimulus information from the heart is communicated to the brain. It also presents evidence that
females are more attuned to intuitive information from the heart.

Conclusions: Overall, we have independently replicated and extended previous research documenting prestimulus
responses. It appears that the heart is involved in the processing and decoding of intuitive information.

Once the prestimulus information is received in the psychophysiologic systems, it appears to be processed
in the same way as conventional sensory input. This study presents compelling evidence that the body’s perceptual
apparatus is continuously scanning the future. To account for the results presented in Parts 1 and 2,

Part 3 will develop a theory based on holographic principles explaining how intuitive perception accesses a
field of energy into which information about future events is spectrally enfolded.

    Summary

This chapter will focus on electromagnetic fields generated by the heart that permeate every cell and may act as a synchronizing signal for the body in a manner analogous to information carried by radio waves. Particular emphasis will be devoted to evidence demonstrating that this energy is not only transmitted internally to the brain but is also detectable by others within its range of communication. The heart generates the largest electromagnetic field in the body. The electrical field as measured in an electrocardiogram (ECG) is about 60 times greater in amplitude than the brain waves recorded in an electroencephalogram (EEG). The magnetic component of the heart’s field, which is around 5000 times stronger than that produced by the brain, is not impeded by tissues and can be measured several feet away from the body with Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID)-based magnetometers (1). We have also found that the clear rhythmic patterns in beat-to-beat heart rate variability are distinctly altered when different emotions are experienced. These changes in electromagnetic, sound pressure, and blood pressure waves produced by cardiac rhythmic activity are "felt" by every cell in the body, further supporting the heart’s role as a global internal synchronizing signal.

    Enigmas of the Heart

    http://www.zeropoint.ca/heartIII6enigmasheart.htm

“If the 20th century has been, so to speak, the Century of the Brain, then the 21st century should be the Century of the Heart.” (Schwartz and Russe, in Pearsall, 1998 p. xiii)

If we turn to contemporary science to shed light on the nature of the heart, we find another series of interesting and provocative enigmas. Although humankind has long ascribed emotional and feeling states to the heart, modern psychologists typically identify the brain’s limbic system as the centre for emotional reactions. Since consciousness and the mind are taken to exist within the head, it seems natural to assume that the brain is the site where we experience emotions and feelings. Thus, scientists seldom consider that consciousness and emotions exist physically in relationship to the heart, the autonomic nervous system or other parts of the body. The idea, that the heart might be a centre for psychological experience is as alien to modern scientific thought as that of the existence of the soul. Nevertheless, the enigmas of the heart are intimately tied to the issues of human consciousness and soul.

The heart has traditionally been the basic symbol of life. From four weeks after conception, when it begins to beat, until death, the heart maintains life within the material body. The heart’s regular contractions pump de-oxygenated blood to the lungs, where it is oxygenated, and returned to the heart, and then pumped out through the network of arteries which interpenetrate the body and brain. Oxygenated blood is red in colour and travels through the body in arteries and capillaries; while the blue, de-oxygenated blood returns to the heart through the veins. The blood is the river of life maintaining all the cells and organs through the transport of oxygen and other nutrients. Oxygen is the fuel of life required for vital and metabolic processes within the body/mind.

Modern science regards the heart as essentially being a mechanical pump, which is composed of soft muscle tissue. Nevertheless, the scientific knowledge of the heart is far from complete and there are a number of major enigmas regarding its nature. The most notable of these enigmas is the long standing mystery of the heart’s pacemaker. The pacemaker is identified with the sino-atrial node (SA Node) situated near the top of the right atrium. This body of cells produces the basic life impulse–the spark of life–which propagates through the heart in three phases, causing the contraction and relaxation of the various heart chambers. What produces the basic life spark within the S A Node? In a Scientific American article, Adolph addressed this issue:

"How does the pacemaker work? On this central question there are, unfortunately, very few clues so far. ... Indeed no model yet suggested has given us much enlightenment on how the pacemaker translates metabolic energy into its rhythmic beat, how it synchronizes the discharges of its many cells or how it changes the tempo of its beat as it ages. ... To sum up, it appears that when the heart of the embryo begins to beat, it functions as an independent organ, driven only by its own inherent pacemaker." (1967)

Fifteen years later, an article from Science Digest informs us that the issues of the pacemaker remain unsolved:

"About 70 times each minute, more than 2.5 billion times in a lifetime, the heart beats on. What keeps it going? The heart, it seems, has a life of its own. The muscle fibres that make it up differ from those elsewhere in the body in that some of them generate their own electricity without receiving signals from the brain. In fact, the fetal heart begins beating before it has even formed nerve connections. The heart’s pacemaker is a group of self-triggering cells called the sinoatrial (SA) node. ... What initiates the current in the SA node remains unknown, but its cells behave more like neurons than muscle fibres." (1984, Aug., p.90)

The cells of the SANode are permeated with sodium and potassium ions which create a polarized environment, in which the inside of the cell is negatively charged and the outside is positively charged. At regular intervals, the cell membranes leak and cause the cell to depolarize. As a result, the cells contract and an electric impulse is generated, a basic electrical spark which brings life into the heart. The mystery of how these impulses originate has yet to be fully explained in terms of biochemical and metabolic processes.

Psychologist Barbara Brown (1974) comments upon the enigma of the heartbeat:

"The genesis of the heartbeat is as unknown as the genesis of man, and equally a miracle. A squib of tissue so small and so well camouflaged as to be unseen by the naked eye is the progenitor of beats. By some unknown ultrachemistry, this squib of tissues generates a flow of electric impulses, bip-bip-bip, one after the other with bewildering unmatched regularity. ... The generator is inborn, inherent." (pp. 227-8 )

Like Adolph, Brown assumes that this generator is programmed by metabolic energy. Certainly, it is reasonable for a scientist to seek a material cause in attempting to resolve the mysterious generation of the heartbeat. Nevertheless, Brown’s comments are most appropriate: “The genesis of the heartbeat is as unknown as the genesis of man ...”!

The role which most people attribute to the heart, as being the center of the emotional life, is another intriguing paradox associated with this mysterious organ. The heart is the most powerful symbol of human emotions: We talk of “loving with our hearts,” of being “heartbroken,” of having “a heavy heart,” of knowing compassion and caring “with the heart,” or of experiencing excitement and anxiety, when “the heart skips a beat.” When we see cruelty, we wonder how someone can be so “heartless,” so selfish and contracted about themselves, so cold-blooded. We talk of “hearty” welcomes, if our “hearts are in it;” of “losing heart” and giving up hope; of knowing “heartache,” with the loss of love.

Certainly, one would be wary of someone who claimed to love you with “all of their head,” instead of “all of their heart”! If someone proclaimed to love you with all of their limbic system or their cerebral cortex, you might want to refer them to a psychiatrist, or to Drs. Sagan, Crick or Chalmers. The literary, poetic and musical dimensions of human life attest to the life, loves and sufferings of the heart and soul. The heart is regarded as a mind of its own, one which can function quite independently of the brain. The heart is regarded as being the core of our being, the deeper self. We speak of getting to the heart of a matter, when we attempt to penetrate to the core of something, or to its essence. Are these and other expressions simply metaphors, or do they indicate that life, human emotions and intuitive wisdom, are somehow related to the hidden dimensions of the heart?

In New Mind, New Body, Barbara Brown provides fascinating insights into the enigmas of the heart. The heart plays a role in the experiencing of emotions and feeling, in willing, in having a mind of its own, in learning and knowing, and in healing. She describes the heart as having a secret life, intricately connected to the thoughts, feelings and desires of the individual. Brown explains how, in different experiments, the heart can learn without “the conscious mind” knowing; the heart is the most sensitive of the organs to emotional states; and the heart rate increases or decreases with the shifting of attention and conscious awareness.

The study of yogis and biofeedback training demonstrates that the heart can be brought under various forms of self-control. Brown describes how some yogis can radically lower their heart rate or even stop their hearts for brief periods. Others exercise control over their vascular systems, altering blood flow to particular parts of the body in very specific ways. The experimental evidence suggests that changes in the heart rate can be brought about through “intention,” as though the heart has its own “will.” Brown concludes that a very strong feedback mechanism exists between the brain and the heart, which somehow involves the control and awareness of emotions.

These observations represent a major enigma: Is there a consciousness of the heart, or are we conscious of feelings and emotions in the heads alone? Human experience suggests that consciousness is not confined to the cerebral cortex but can be experienced throughout the body. Brown comments:

"Perhaps the confusion related to the heart’s learning lies in the researcher’s head. There seems to be an unending war between the mind of the heart and the ideas of the researcher." (1974, p. 258)

Indeed, the central tenet of the head doctrine–that consciousness is produced within the brain–would appear to be the result of confusion in the researchers’ head.

In Towards a Science of Consciousness, Kenneth Pelletier (1978) argued for an expanded view of the possible nature of consciousness. Pelletier questioned the validity of the head doctrine, which he labelled the “under the hat theory of consciousness:”

"In contrast to this naive belief (of the under the hat theory of consciousness) stands a vast array of information, ranging from Vedantic texts to laboratory research results, that supports the concept that the entire body is an instrument of consciousness. One particular component of awareness resides in the brain, while other physiological systems of the body seem more attuned to other aspects of awareness. Thus, our language is laden with expressions indicating that the seat of the emotions lies within the heart and cardiovascular system. ... According to their tradition, the Hopi ‘knew’that consciousness resided in the heart and they thought white men were foolish because they believed that they thought with their heads. Were a Hopi researcher approaching the problem of the neurophysiological basis of consciousness, he would elect to make a detailed analysis of the electrical activity of the heart rather than the brain." (pp. 23 &22)

Quite simply, there is absolutely no reason to assume that consciousness is located exclusively within the head. In fact, the entire body, including the heart and the cardiovascular system, could be construed as being an instrument for consciousness. Even if we accept the idea that consciousness is produced by neurological activity, then we must recognize the electromagnetic and neurological fields generated by and within the heart itself. The heart has its own neurological system, including the SA Node, which is independent of the brain. In addition, the autonomic nervous system exists outside of the central nervous system, and it effects many organs and glands related to emotional and instinctual functions. Neurological activity is not simply confined to the brain but extends throughout the body, and scientists have done nothing to demonstrate why only the brain’s neural activity would produce consciousness. It seems entirely reasonable to suppose that the heart’s neural activity is also linked with the experience of consciousness.

In The Heart’s Code, psychologist Paul Pearsall (1998) maintains that, energetically speaking, the heart–rather than the brain–is clearly the centre of the psychological universe. Indeed:, to the contrary:

"The heart’s EMF (electro-magnetic field) is five thousand times more powerful than the electromagnetic field created by the brain and, in addition to its immense power, has subtle, non-local effects that travel within these forms of energy. ... the heart generates over fifty thousand femtoteslas (a measure of EMF) compared to less than ten femtoteslas recorded from the brain." (p. 55)

The profound significance of these facts leads Gary Schwartz and Linda Russe, in the forward of Pearsall’s book, to comment:

"The Heart’s Code points the way to a new revolution in our thinking. Metaphorically, the heart is the sun, the pulsing, energetic centre of our biophysical “solar”system, and the brain is the earth, one of the most important planets in our biophysical system. One implication of the energy cardiology/cardio-energetic revolution is the radical (meaning “root”) idea that energetically, the brain revolves around the heart, not the other way around." (1998, p. xii)

The heart is the largest source of biophysical energy in the body and within our psychological life. In Pearsall’s view, the heart involves energy and information that comprises the essence or soul of who we are.

The idea, that the heart is the centre of the psychology of the individual, instead of the brain, would indeed revolutionize our understanding of normal and supernormal psychology. Adopting this view would be analogous to the Copernican revolution, wherein scientists realized that the earth, rather than being the centre of the universe, travelled around the sun within the solar system. The egocentric attitude of humans was shattered. Likewise, the acceptance of a deeper conceptualization of the heart, consciousness and the nature of Self would constitute a revolutionary development in modern psychology, philosophy and the life sciences.

In 1996, Drs. R. Allan and S. Scheidt proposed that modern psychology should include a field of “cardiac psychology,” as a branch of health psychology. Cardiac psychologists have generally focussed on identifying the psychological, social and environmental risk factors for heart disease, and the psychological repercussions of heart attacks and other cardiac illness. Pearsall, Schwartz and Russek, and others propose a broader definition of cardiac psychology: one in which the heart is regarded as a thinking, feeling, and willing organ, with profound energetic influences on humans’ psychological life.

The heart has its own form of intelligence, independent of the brain. It can perceive internal and external stimuli, and react on its own to the outside world. It communicates “an info-energetic code” which is conveyed through tens of thousands of miles of vessels and 75 trillion cells of the heart and circulatory system. In addition, neurotransmitters, which are found in the brain, have also been discovered in the heart. The heart produces the hormone and neuro-peptide, Atrial Naturetic Factor (ANF), which communicates with the brain, particularly the limbic system and hypothalymus which mediate emotions, and the pineal gland which regulates sleep/waking cycles, aging processes and activity levels. The activities of the heart are also recognized to have effects on the immune system and, consequently on physical health. Pearsall notes:

"As research from neurocardiology continues, it is becoming clearer that the central role of the heart in our consciousness is much more than metaphor and that, as happened with the brain, continuing research will reveal complexities of a conscious heart that our brain cannot yet imagine." (1998, P. 69)

Pearsall states that we have been too “brain focussed” in the search for mind, and that instead of thinking in terms of a dual mind and body, a more rewarding and appropriate approach would be to adopt a triune model: that is, of a thinking brain, the material body and the energetic and emotional heart. The heart is the primary energy centre within the individual, and in Pearsall’s terms “conveys the code that represents the soul.”

Pearsall examines the nature of cellular memory, life fields and non-local information fields in attempts to account for the various clinical and psychological evidences that are emerging about the mysterious qualities and role of the human heart. # The heart’s attributes and functions are much more mysterious and significant than conventional scientific thinking supposes. He states that, through the psychology of the heart, modern psychology is “beginning to make its first tentative contacts with the soul.” (p. 6)

The remarkable stories of heart transplant recipients bear testimony to the secrets of the heart. Pearsall recounts an incident which happened to him after he had presented a lecture on the heart’s role in human’s psychological and spiritual life. A member of the audience, a psychiatrist was moved to tears as she recounted a dramatic story about an eight year old girl who had been the recipient of a heart transplant. The heart donor, a ten year old girl, had been murdered. After the transplant, the recipient suffered nightmares about the man who had killed the doner, and was able to describe the time, weapon, and place, the man’s appearance, what the little girl had said to her assailant, and so on. The police were able to identify and prosecute the murder based on her evidence! Somehow the recipient had access to the memories, information and emotional terror, and the soul influences of the donor!

In A Change Of Heart (1997), Claire Sylvia, the recipient of a heart-transplant, recounts her remarkable experiences. She describes how the energies, emotions, and soul life of the donor seemed to become intertwined with her own. Thus, she experienced an extraordinary metamorphosis after her transplant, as she acquired her donor’s food and beverage preferences, his conflicted feelings towards and conflicts with his father, his sexual attractions and impulses, and energy dynamics! Her dreams of the donor enabled her to establish who he had been, to meet his family and to learn more about him. Apparently, heart-transplant recipients frequently report such astonishing experiences. Nevertheless, doctors, scientists and other professionals either dismiss or politely ignore these intriguing phenomena. Of course, thinking from their heads, such learned people do not acknowledge or even imagine that the heart could hold such mysteries or pose such enigmatic challenges to established knowledge about the nature of consciousness and mind.

    THE POWER OF THE HEART

The heart's code descrambles the mind... when the mind and the heart are One, you yourself are One with the world...

During the past twenty years that I have practiced heart-centered, body-centered spiritual psychotherapy I have found myself often being asked, the infamous question, "What do you DO?" My questioners have often been men with technical backgrounds, for whom the word "heart" has a one dimensional, linear connotation. As I would answer, telling them that I work with the heart, I would often be greeted with "The heart is a mechanical pump. It goes pump, pump. There is no emotional and spiritual life to the heart. That is all metaphor."

I knew in my gut that there was more to the heart than just the mechanical pump. I could feel the electromagnetic energy emanated by a client's body as I worked with them. I could tell how open or defended someone's heart was, sitting across from them and engaging in dialogue. I could sense the change in the quality of their energy as a client's emotional safety increased. When I would place my hands, with permission, on their heart or another part of the body, to facilitate their emotional work, I felt that an energetic encyclopedia was at my fingertips. Likewise, the quality of my intention and presence seemed to flow from my heart to my client's heart.

For many years I did not have the scientific data or language to show people that what I knew and could do clinically was indeed scientifically grounded. I found a common language with my friend and colleague, Linda Russek, whose research in the early 1990's showed that the EKG of one person's heart could be measured in the EEG of another person's brain1. In other words, one's emotional energy registered in the brainwaves of another.

Another colleague, cardiologist Bruno Cortese, would talk about how heart transplant recipients would often experience a literal change of heart. Not only would their health condition be remedied after a heart transplant, but also their personality would incorporate aspects of the personality of the person whose heart they had received. A person who never had a taste for ice cream or motorcycles, would find themselves craving ice cream and motorcycles. They would then discover that ice cream and motorcycles were passions of the person whose heart they had received.

THE POWERFUL ROLE OF THE HEART

The heart is the first organ to form in the body. It is the organizing factor for physical formation, including for brain formation. The heart contains extensive brain-like neural matter and has recently been classified as a gland because it produces its own hormone. In addition to our cerebral brain, we indeed have a "heart brain." The heart not only puts out its own balancing and regulating hormones, but also instantaneously communicates electromagnetic and chemical information to the rest of the body and to other bodies near it.2

In her article "Spirit and Matter of the Heart, "3 Dorothy Mandel writes, "The heart can act as an internal pharmacy-dispensing and communicating what is needed where and when. Its rhythm and pulse can entrain all of the body's rhythms and cycles into coherent harmony and communicate many other types of vital information as well." Each person's EKP pattern is as unique as their fingerprint. The wave variations in each "heartprint" contain information about the different organ systems and rhythms in the body. When two people touch, the heartwave of one can be seen registering in the brainwave of the other.

    HEART FACTS

Research by the Institute for HeartMath in California4 has shown that the heart is the most powerful generator of electromagnetic energy in the human body:

o The heart's electrical field is about 60 times greater in amplitude than the electrical activity generated by the brain.

o The magnetic field produced by the heart is more than 5000 times greater in strength than the field generated by the brain

o The electromagnetic energy of the heart not only envelops every cell of the human body, but also extends out in all directions in the space around us

o Our cardiac field touches those within 8 - 10 feet of where we are positioned (and perhaps in more subtle ways at greater distances)

o One person's heart signal can effect another's brainwaves, and heart-brain synchronization can occur between two people when they interact

o Research conducted at the Institute of HeartMath suggests that the heart's field is an important carrier of information

Our mental and emotional state impacts the quality of contact we offer to another person. When we touch one another with safe, respectful, loving intention both physically and emotionally, we call into play the full healing power of the heart. The greater the "coherence"--a sense that life is comprehensible, manageable and meaningful-- one develops, the more sensitive one becomes to the subtle electromagnetic signals communicated by those around them.

In my experience working with groups, the combined impact of the interaction of the electromagnetic fields of all the group members' hearts creates a powerful space in which individuals can do deeper healing work than one-on-one. As one group member goes deeper, and gets closer to their core, the others in the group feel the energetic vibration of this person's "heart opening" and are touched by it--energetically, as well as emotionally.

LESSONS FROM THE POWER OF THE HEART

Having a greater understanding of the role and power of the heart sheds light on how to think about a wide range of human experience.

    1. Heartpower and our genetic make-up: Dorothy Mandel writes, ""Genetically, cells adapt to what they perceive their environment to be. Because an event experienced in the midst of a heart response will be perceived and interpreted very differently than an event experienced in the midst of a stress response, the heart can also powerfully affect genetic expression"5

Becoming more heart aware and working towards authentic emotional expression and inner peace may positively impact our genetic health.

    2. Heart consciousness and pregnancy: Following from the point above, the quality of our heart energy during pregnancy impacts the developing baby's experience. At a prenatal and perinatal psychology workshop I participated in many years ago, Thomas Verny, the facilitator, discussed the research of an Italian colleague that explored how a mother's conscious and subconscious feelings about the pregnancy impacted the child.

When a mother both consciously and subconsciously wanted to be pregnant and welcomed her baby, the child thrived. When the mother either consciously or subconsciously wanted the baby, the child was fine. When the mother neither consciously nor subconsciously wanted the baby, the child felt the effects of this hostile emotional climate. I remember a story of a woman who not only didn't want her baby but also resented his intrusive presence in her body. When the Italian doctor would use an ultrasound to view the baby as the mother talked about her resentments of him and the pregnancy, the baby would curl up in a tiny ball in a corner of the uterus, trying to make himself very small. Even in-utero, a baby can feel the power of his/her mother's heart.

When considering having children, making a thoughtful, heartful, integrated decision is important for the overall wellbeing of a child.

    3. The power of touch: When we reach out and touch another person, we are literally extending the energy of our hearts. We can understand why loving, present, respectful touch is such a powerful healing force. Likewise, hurtful touch carries deep messages that register in the heart and body, both in the moment and over time. Learning to engage our hearts consciously in touch can bring forth the natural healer in each of us.

    4. The power of love: Love is more than an emotion. It is an electromagnetic phenomenon. When someone is coming to you from a place of love, it feels different than when someone is coming to you from a place of indifference or dislike. The energetic current transmitted from one person to another varies with their state of heart. Being received with love day after day must be incredibly nourishing for the soul.

    5. Getting stuck in triggered behavior patterns: Because one person's heartwaves register in another person's brainwaves, when one person gets emotionally triggered or stuck, the impact of their emotional energy may be strong enough to immobilize the other person. Have you ever felt stuck yourself when a loved one has been triggered by your behavior? If two people are triggered at once, their hearts and brains interact in a dance of difficult energy waves. Just as an electrical outlet needs to be grounded, so do our emotional energetic circuits. When a couple gets stuck, a third party can help break the pattern by containing and grounding the energy of the relational circuit.

    6. The pain of isolation: Just as we nourish each other when we share loving, open hearts, life becomes more empty and barren when we lack energetic contact with others' hearts. Isolation is at first painful, and often numbing if too much time goes by. Human beings need to touch and be touched, both physically and emotionally. Our heart's energy fields are enriched by connecting with others' hearts.

    7. The power of heartfull community: Since our hearts influence our brains, imagine the impact of sitting in a circle of healing community! Imagine what the electromagnetic energy diagram would look like of a group of people speaking and listening from their hearts! The energy grid formed by a heartfull community must be strong and far reaching!

    8. Resolving conflict: Heartfelt communication between two people not only deepens the dialogue, but also enhances the energy field between them. If we can get underneath a conflict and address the heart of the matter, healing and closeness can take place.

Overall, we have a lot to gain through consciously harnessing the power of the heart. We can have healthier bodies, greater intimacy and satisfaction in our relationships, and the nourishment and support of being connected to others living and thinking from the heart.

Heart Is The Master / Mind The Servant
    A heart grounded Warrior

The Japanese symbol of love is a replica of the heart’s dominance ~ for the mind is always looking for answers that the heart already knows. Armed with this innate compass, synchronistic heart felt events and relationships offer clues that our lives are divinely guided ~ whether or not you can fully accept it. Only the ego stands in the way of this great inner wisdom and awareness of not only a universal loving plan but our individual participation in it as a heart grounded warrior: Allen L Roland

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that my life is divinely guided by my heart and when I fully surrender to love I enter a Unified Field of soul consciousness where there are no accidents and where heart felt synchronistic events and relationships are constant reminders of this universal truth.

By fully surrendering to love many years ago and falling through a rabbit hole to another state of consciousness ~ I found and embraced an innocent child within myself who always wanted to love that deeply and who had an intentioned destiny to fulfill as well as a song to sing.

Every love relationship that has ensued since I opened my heart has led me through fear and to the heart grounded place where I am now ~ living in the blissful awareness that I am part of something far greater than myself and, as such, my heart has become a fragment of life's heart. The great Egyptian poet Mahfouz expressed it beautifully ~ “When the heart achieves its desire, you shall transcend time and space” for we are all, in essence, put on this planet a little time to bear the beams of a love that transcends time and space ~ the Unified Field.

We must eventually all come together to change the world and, in that spirit, here is a 5 minute video of one million children singing Composer Howard McCrary’s Change The World ~ which will touch even the most hardened heart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4h-R9xD ... r_embedded

Thus, by listening and responding to my inner heart call ~ I have not only found direction in my life but have become in sync with my destiny.

    R. Adam Crane BCIA Senior Fellow, BCIAEEG, NRNP Diplomate writes in Science of The Heart: The Role of the Heart in Human Performance of the same phenomenon; http://www.mindfitness.com/adam_hrv.htm http://www.mindfitness.com/adam_hrv.htm

" There is now a scientific basis to explain how and why the heart affects mental clarity, creativity, emotional balance and personal effectiveness. Research indicates that the heart is far more than a simple pump. The heart is, in fact, a highly complex, self-organized information processing center with its own functional that communicates with and influences the cranial brain via the nervous system, hormonal system and other pathways. These influences profoundly affect brain function and most of the body's major organs, and ultimately determine the quality of life. "

Note: It is now known that the signals the heart sends the brain can influence perception, emotional processing, and higher cognitive functions.

”Throughout history philosophers have asserted that "when the heart enters the brain wisdom emerges". Now, neurocardiology has demonstrated that there are physiological correlation's for this ancient concept. Furthermore, these discoveries have been translated into a fascinating and enjoyable form of Biofeedback with enormous potential. Part of the reason for this potential is that people are attracted to the simple, common sense notion that there is something that can be done to assure that their thinking will be positively influenced by their hearts. Of course, heart represents one's humanity, compassion, wisdom etc., but most people are keenly aware that feelings in the heart profoundly affects health. "

Note: One of the tenets of modern psychology and learning theory is that what we think determines our reality. "As you think so you are". Since the heart mediates the emotional system, and since thoughts with an "emotional charge" are those thoughts that most influence our life and our reality, it can be suggested that the heart truly is massively influencing the brain and our reality - if not dominating it.

" Biomedical research has revealed that the heart is not just a simple pump, but a highly complex, self-organized information processing center with its own functional "brain." With each beat, the heart continuously communicates with the brain and body via the nervous system, hormonal system, bioelectromagnetic interactions, and other pathways. Scientists are demonstrating that the messages the heart sends the brain not only affect physiological regulation, but can also profoundly influence perception, emotions, behaviors, performance and health. "

Note: The heart produces by far the most powerful rhythmic electromagnetic field in the body. The brain and all the cells in the body are continuously bathed in the heart's electromagnetic field, which can also be detected several feet away from the body by sensitive instruments. The implications are that the heart is an energetic system, and the heart's field is a carrier of emotional information and a mediator of bioelectromagnetic communication both within and outside the body. Many scientists believe that the heart's field changes distinctly as we experience different emotions, and is registered by the brains of people around us.

The heart's field also appears to be capable of affecting cells, water and DNA studied in vitro. The implications of these findings are that people may be capable of affecting their environment in ways not previously understood; and that such "energetic" interactions may be prominently influenced by our emotions. Growing evidence also suggests that energetic interactions involving the heart may underlie intuition and important aspects of human consciousness.

”The term physiological coherence is often used to describe a physiological mode that encompasses entrainment, resonance and synchronization, which are all distinct but related physiological phenomena that are frequently associated with more ordered and harmonious interactions among the body's systems.

Coherence is also used to describe two or more waves (or systems) that are either phase - or frequency-locked. This is also called entrainment. In the coherent mode, respiration, heart rhythms, and blood pressure rhythms become entrained and oscillate at the same frequency. The term cross-coherence is used to specify this type of coherence. "

In terms of physiological functioning, coherence confers a number of benefits to the system. For example, there is increased cardiac output in conjunction with increased efficiency in fluid exchange, filtration, and absorption between the capillaries and tissues; increased ability of the cardiovascular system to adapt to circulatory requirements; and increased temporal synchronization of cells throughout the body. This results in increased system-wide energy efficiency and metabolic energy savings. "

Did you know that this amazing organ, developed in the womb before the brain, this heart that we often times ignore, neglect, and build walls around, is where we can find our greatest strength, our faith, our courage and our compassion, empowering our higher emotional intelligence that can, if we allow it, guide us throughout our lives.

See 3 minute Did You Know video ~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kyfm5_LL ... detailpage

"In my work as a psychotherapist my clients achieve mind heart coherence when I get them to take responsibility for love rather than running away from it. I do that by helping them see that the people they may have felt the deepest pain with were quite often people they deeply loved.

When love and gratitude replaces anger and resentment ~ definite physiological changes occur ~ for the heart is now enlisted in the healing process.

I've seen clients literally lose 10 years of age in appearance when they suddenly opened up their closed hearts ~ but the effect on their immune system is even more dramatic. In my on going Healing The Wounded Heart ( Band of Brothers) eight week Workshops with combat veterans with PTSD, the participants have averaged close to a 60 % improvement in all symptoms of PTSD ~ and in particular feelings of joy and gratitude.

In that regard, I treat PTSD ( Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ) as PTHD or Post traumatic Heart Disorder ~ and enlist their opening hearts in their own self healing process.

In my book RADICAL THERAPY / SURRENDER TO LOVE AND HEAL YOURSELF IN SEVEN SESSIONS ( NOT SEVEN YEARS I demonstrate that the seeming separation from love ( psychic Pain ) is not only capable of stunting our emotional growth as well as effecting our will to live but also can be a dramatic co- factor in effecting our immune system ~ eventually resulting in heart disease or abnormal cell growth such as Cancer.

My own childhood paranormal precognitive vision ( of the golden gate bridge, water and houses ) at six years old ~ after my heart closed when I was taken away from my beloved grandfather while I was living in Massachusetts ( and that memory being erased by psychic pain ) ~ and 40 years later, after my heart opened, walking into that same exact scene in San Francisco and realizing I was seeing through the eyes of a child within myself ( who had obviously been in a state of soul consciousness ) is a classic example that this state of soul consciousness not only lies beyond time and space but part of me obviously knew at six years old that this event would eventually happen ~ but only after I got off the ego’s fear based local and surrendered to the heart based express.

In other words, my heart was the master and my mind became its servant when I eventually totally surrendered to love and its inner guidance.

Many are called, few listen and fewer still respond to this inner call of the heart and the culprit is always the ego ~ which was created ( like a cocoon) to protect us from psychic pain and to maintain control.

But that ego was eventually meant to be shed and only love is capable of moving us beyond its suffocating and limiting walls of control and fear ~ particularly fear of our deepest joy, delight and the unknown.

So, in that sense, being out of control is actually being in the Unified Field for only then do we stop striving and truly be ~ realizing that our life is not only being divinely guided but that we have a part to play in a slowly evolving loving plan.

As such, only the Ego's need to control is in the way of this shift in consciousness which is why the next to last step of ego death is surrender ~ and which is why the entire planet is now in the painful process of making this shift of consciousness ~ fueled from within and without by our innate evolutionary need to unite, cooperate and love one another. The final step of ego death is joy and celebration ~ for you are now no longer confined within the restrictive walls of the ego. You are now flying on the wings of a universal urge to unite and in service from a place of love and gratitude ~ as I most certainly am."

Teilhard de Chardin knew and shared this great secret 50 years ago ~ " If there were no real propensity to unite, even at a prodigiously rudimentary level, indeed, in the molecule itself ~ it would be physically impossible for love to appear in the ' hominized ' or human form. "

As such ~ only by fully surrendering to love can we re-establish the heart as the true master and the mind as the servant ~ and in the process become a heart grounded warrior capable of defeating not only fear but the strategies and devices of the ego as we play our part in a constantly evolving loving plan.

So this Valentine day, remember that ‘that loving feeling’ becomes far more profound and enriched when we surrender to our common empowering tap root of conscious unconditional love. See my Seven Stages of Love and Relationship / few get beyond stage six ~

The Seven Stages Of Relationship / Few Get Beyond Stage Six
    http://www.veteranstoday.com/2011/04/21/allen-l-roland-the-seven-stages-of-relationship-few-get-beyond-stage-six/

Relationship is a means to an end versus an end in itself. The true purpose of relationship is the full flowering of each partner but only those who conquer fear reach the seventh stage of relationship : Allen L Roland

Most people are afraid of love because they are afraid of their deepest joy, delight and inner freedom and are trapped by a fear of deep vulnerability and intimacy.
In relationship, we must reach a place where being honest and being true to yourself is more important than the survival of the relationship! Let me illustrate this using Stendhal’s and Roland’s seven stages of a love relationship :

ADMIRATION ” I really admire you as a person “

BEGINNING OF DESIRE “I think I’d like to get to know you better.”

HOPE ” I hope you feel the same way about me ”

INCEPTION OF LOVE ” I think I’m falling in love with you ”

FIRST CRYSTALLIZATION ” I see the beauty and perfection within you ”

DOUBT, FEAR AND/OR JEALOUSY, ANGER AND RESENTMENT ” You’re going to hurt me or betray me like others have “

This is where Stendhal ended his six stages of love for it is the stage where most, if not all, emotional relationships end with mutual anger, resentment or fear submerging all traces of the original love. What we do not realize in this stage is that these feelings are often associated with earlier childhood or relationship hurts we felt with loved ones and we are face to face with the decisions we made at that time to repress and deny our deepest feelings ~ because there was seemingly no-one there for us. We can either run, as most people do, or go inside and go through these fears by not denying the love, taking accountability for these feelings and stop being a victim! You cannot escape stage six until you are willing to go inside, take total accountability for your actions and feelings and stop denying love. This takes great courage but the payoff is immense! Resentment doesn’t heal! Anger doesn’t heal! Only love truly heals!

    7. ROLAND’S SECOND CRYSTALLIZATION ” I feel the beauty and perfection within myself and I’m sharing it with you and the world ”

This Stage cannot be accomplished unless we realize our ultimate quest in life is to fully experience our authentic self and our connection to our original state of soul consciousness and an innate connection with the world.

    From post #2

I looove this explanation. So many times people say to me, "I like talking to you because you actually look me in the eye when we speak and so few people do that. I know you're actually listening to what I'm saying and that you care." My daughter has had this said to her also and it amazes us that it's said...that it appears to be an unusual thing to people. And they also say that, as a result, they know we are honest with them and trust us.

Could it be, do you think, that so many don't look at each other directly when speaking because subconsciously they don't want to connect so closely to others and maintain seperateness due to being more mentally influenced/polarized? Are they just more self-involved? Those who don't look at us directly when we speak do seem to relate more superficially and, according to this info, they actually are.

Another interesting aspect of this is that an old friend said to me once, "You should know when I'm lying because I can't look you in the eye when I'm talking." She thought it was funny to admit to this. Rolling Eyes But I now know why that would be.

Oh, and one more thing......those people who think they've 'made it' in some field who send out the order that no-one is allowed to look at them directly. That is always a turn-off for me as it suggests they see themselves as not one of 'the common herd'...as superior and above such communication and identification. Seems they are in a way, seperating themselves in only allowing others of their ilk and group to merge with them through the eye connection. I'd love to know what is going on in their heart-mind in relation to this choice.

Interesting side note. I once asked my sylph friend 'E' about the negative nature spirits who attack other beings...where they fit into the common consciousness that she'd told me all elemental beings share, the aim of that consciousness being to support all life on the planet. She says they call them 'Singularities' as they have chosen to seperate themselves from the group consciousness and goals. And yet some in this world now preach that being a 'Singularity' should be our goal. Neutral

OK, now to read the rest of your entries here. Great thread Carol.

    Hugs

More specifically, we have demonstrated that sustained positive emotions appear to give rise to a distinct mode of functioning, which we call psychophysiological coherence. During this mode, heart rhythms exhibit a sine wave-like pattern and the heart's electromagnetic field becomes correspondingly more organized.

    ■ At the physiological level, this mode is characterized by increased efficiency and harmony in the activity and interactions of the body's systems.1

Psychologically, this mode is linked with a notable reduction in internal mental dialogue, reduced perceptions of stress, increased emotional balance, and enhanced mental clarity, intuitive discernment, and cognitive performance.

Yes!! Haven't we all noticed this??? Brilliant. cheers

    THE WAY
    CODES OF CONDUCT

    HONESTY AND JUSTICE

Be acutely honest throughout your dealings with all people. Believe in justice, not from other people, but from yourself. To the true Exemplar, there are no shades of gray in the question of honesty and justice. There is only right and wrong.

    POLITE COURTESY

A Warrior has no reason to be cruel. They do not need to prove their strength. An Exemplar is courteous even to his enemies. Without this outward show of respect, we are nothing more than animals.

    HEROIC COURAGE

Rise up above the masses of people who are afraid to act. Hiding like a turtle in a shell is not living at all. A Fighter must have heroic courage. It is absolutely risky, It is dangerous. It is living life completely, fully, wonderfully. Heroic courage is not blind, it is intelligent and strong.

    HONOR

A true person of honor has only one judge of honor, and this is him/herself. Decisions you make and how these decisions are carried out are a refection of whom you truly are. You cannot hide from yourself.

    COMPASSION

Through intense training the Fighter becomes quick and strong. He is not as other men. He develops a power that must be used for the good of all. He has compassion. He helps his fellow man at every opportunity. If an opportunity does not arise, he goes out of his way to find one.

    COMPLETE SINCERITY

When a Warrior has said he will perform an action, it is as good as done. Nothing will stop him from completing what he has said he will do. He does not have to "give his word." He does not have to "promise."

    DUTY AND LOYALTY

For the Warrior, having done some "thing" or said some "thing," he knows he owns that "thing." He is responsible for it, and all the consequences that follow. A Warrior is immensely loyal to those in his care, to those he is responsible for, he remains fiercely true.

Seven Philosophies For a Native American Warrior

First Philosophy - TO THE WOMEN

The cycle of life for the woman is the baby, girl, woman, and grandmother. These are the four directions of life. She has been given by natural laws the ability to reproduce life. The most sacred of all things in life. Therefore, all men should treat her with dignity and respect. Never was it our way to harm her mentally or physically. We always treated our women with respect and understanding. So, from now on, I will treat women in a sacred manner. The Creator gave women the responsibility for bringing new life into the world. Life is sacred, so I will look upon women in a sacred manner. In our traditional ways, the woman is the foundation of the family. I will work with her to create a home atmosphere of respect, security and harmony. I will refrain from any form of emotional or physical abuse. If I have these feelings, I will talk to the Creator for guidance. I will treat all women as if they were my own female relatives.

Second Philosophy - TO THE CHILDREN

As an eagle prepares its young to leave the nest with all the skills and knowledge it needs to participate in life, in the same manner so I will guide my children. I will use the culture to prepare them for life. The most important thing I can give to my children is my time. I will spend time with them in order to teach them and to listen to them. I will teach my children to pray, as well as the importance of respect. We are the caretakers of the children for the Creator. They are his children, not ours. I am proud of our Native language. I will learn it if I can and help my children to learn it. In today's world it is easy for the children to go astray, so I will work to provide positive alternatives for them. I will teach them the culture. I will encourage education. I will encourage them to talk with the Elders for guidance; but mostly, I will seek to be a role model myself. I make this commitment to my children so they will have courage and find guidance through traditional ways.

Third Philosophy - TO THE FAMILY

The Creator gave to us the family, which is the place where all teachings are handed down from the grandparent, to the parent, and to the child. The children's behavior is a mirror of the parent's behavior.
Knowing this, I realize the importance for each native man to be responsible to the family in order to fulfill the need to build a strong and balanced family. By doing this, I will break the cycle of hurt and ensure the positive mental health of our children, even the children yet to be born. So, from now on, I will dedicate my priorities to rebuilding my family. I must never give up and leave my family only to the mother.
I am accountable to restore the strength of my family. To do this, I will nurture our family's spiritual, cultural and social health. I will demonstrate trust, respect, honor and discipline; but mostly I will be consistent in whatever I do with them. I will see that the grandparents and community Elders play a significant role in the education of my children. I realize that the male and female together are fundamental to our family life. I will listen to my mate's council for our family's benefit, as well as for the benefit of our Nation.

Fourth Philosophy - TO THE COMMUNITY

The native community provides many things for the family. The most important is the sense of belonging; that is, to belong to "the people",
and to have a place to go. Our native communities need to be restored to health so the future generation will be guaranteed a place to go for
culture, language and socializing. In he community, the honor of one is the honor of all and the pain of one is the pain of all. I will work to
strengthen recovery in all parts of my community. As a native man, I will give back to my community by donating my time and talents when I am able. I will cultivate friendships with other native men for mutual support and strength. I will consider the effects of our decisions on behalf of the next seven generations; in this way, our children and grandchildren will inherit healthy communities. I will care about those in my community so that the mind changes, alcohol and drugs, will vanish, and our communities will forever be free of violence. If each of us can do all these things, then others, will follow; ours will be a proud community.

    Fifth Philosophy - THE EARTH

Our Mother Earth is the source of all life, whether it be plants, the two-legged, four-legged, winged ones or human beings. The Mother Earth is the greatest teacher, if we listen, observe and respect her. When we live in harmony with the Mother Earth, she will recycle the things we consume and make them available to our children. As a native man, I must teach my children how to care for the Earth so it is there for the future generations. So from now on, I realize the Earth is our Mother. I will treat her with honor and respect. I will honor the interconnectedness of all things and all forms of life. I will realize the Earth does not belong to us, but that we belong to the Earth. The natural law is the ultimate authority upon the lands and water. I will learn the knowledge and wisdom of the natural laws. I will pass this knowledge on to my children. The Mother Earth is a living entity that maintains life. I will speak out in a good way whenever I see someone abusing the Earth. Just as I would protect my own mother, so I will protect the Earth. I will ensure that the land, water, and air will be intact for my children and for my children's children-the unborn.

Sixth Philosophy - TO THE CREATOR

As a native man, I realize we make no gains without the Great Spirit being in our lives. Neither I, nor anything I attempt to do, will work without our Creator. Being native and being spiritual has the same meaning. Spirituality is our gift from the Great One. This say, I vow to walk the Red Road . As a native man, I will return to the traditional and spiritual values which have guided my ancestors for the past generations. I will look with new eyes on the powers of our ceremonies and religious ways, for they are important to the very survival of our people. We have survived and are going to grow and flourish spiritually. We will fulfill our teachings and the purpose that the Creator has given us with dignity. Each day, I will pray and ask guidance. I will commit to walk the Red Road . I will walk this road with dedication. If each of us can do these things then others will follow. From this day forward, I will reserve time and energy for spirituality, seeking to know the Creator's will.

    Seventh Philosophy - TO MYSELF

I will think about what kind of person I want to be when I am an Elder. I will start developing myself now to be this person. I will walk with the Great Spirit and the grandfathers at my side. I will develop myself to remain positive. I will develop a good mind. I will examine myself daily to see what I did good and what I need to improve. I will examine my strengths and weaknesses; then I will ask the Creator to guide me. I will develop a good mind. Each day, I will listen for the Creator's voice in the wind. I will watch nature and ask to be shown a lesson which will occur on my path. I will seek the guiding principles which guided my ancestors. I will follow the creed of The Two Feathers Warrior Society, I am Native, I am a Warrior, I serve all Native people, I will always place my mission first. I will never accept defeat. I will never quit. I will never leave the fight! I am disciplined, I will always maintain my Native Pride, I am true to my words, I stand ready to fight for ALL Natives, I am a guardian of truth and the Native way of life. I am a Two Feathers Warrior! A'ho ,I will walk in dignity, honor and humility, conducting myself as a Two Feathers Warrior. I will seek the guidance of the Elders so that I may learn and maintain the knowledge of culture, ceremonies and songs, and so that I may pass these on to future generations. I choose to do all these things myself, because no one else can do them for me. I know I CANNOT GIVE AWAY WHAT I DON'T HAVE, so I will need to learn to walk the talk.

    These Things I Vow

    Characteristics of a Spiritual Warrior
    http://www.toltecspirit.com/four-agreements/characteristics-of-a-spiritual-warrior/

Happiness is every person’s choice, but few make an effort for it.
The Spiritual Warrior is a person who challenges the dreams of fear, lies, false beliefs, and judgments that create suffering and unhappiness in his or her life. It is a war that takes place in the heart and mind of a man or woman. The quest of the Spiritual Warrior is the same as spiritual seekers around the world. The Spiritual Warrior faces this challenge with the clarity and awareness that this war is fought within himself and that Truth and unconditional love are on the other side of these battles. This is what the Toltecs refer to as Personal Freedom. You can find this referenced in the book The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz.

    Characteristics and Traits

To win the war against fear requires awareness, courage, discipline, and commitment to transform the emotional body. These are some of the characteristics of a Warrior

    Awareness of the Spiritual Warrior

The first and most vital tool of the spiritual warrior is awareness. It is easy to we think we are aware, but pure awareness has no thinking involved. It has no thinking because it has no interpretation. Awareness is to perceive with clarity the truth of what is happening without interpretation or opinion. In a moment of awareness the dialogue in the mind stops. We are “seeing” from a point or view separate from the reasoning part of our mind. This could be described as an epiphany. Practiced seer’s live in this awareness in every moment.

Awareness is essential because it is the state of consciousness that allows us to discern between the facts and the Truth, and between the story and the lies in our mind. The realm of our mind is filled with false perceptions and false beliefs. While the mind can be very clever with stories and lies, it is the consciousness of awareness that is the discerning intelligence. We may use very intelligent reasoning to make a decision that is not good for ourselves. Only to look at it in hindsight and realize that we discounted indicators that told us otherwise. This can be done in something as simple as a stock investment. The mind is clever, but it is also full of assumptions and limited paradigms of perception. Conscious awareness allows us to see clearly instead of be blinded by these false belief paradigms.

Self awareness is the clarity to know who and what you are, and not get caught up in self important images of ourselves. These self important images in our mind distort our sense of who we are. False images can lead us to low self esteem and self confidence, or they can take us into being self centered. If you have an idea of who you are, then consider that you are not that idea in your mind. You are the one creating the idea, and observing it. Self awareness that you are not any of those images in your mind is essential to becoming free of self importance.

    Courage of the Spiritual Warrior

The courage that makes for a good soldier also makes for a good Spiritual Warrior, but the intent becomes completely different. A soldier has courage to face a challenge that may bring physical harm. The Spiritual warrior has the courage to question challenge his or her own beliefs. By challenging our own beliefs we can dissolve the lies that cause our suffering. To challenge our own beliefs requires courage because it means the end of our illusion of safety. When other people challenge our own beliefs we are usually quick to defend. We defend them even if they cause us to suffer. As a warrior we learn not to defend what we believe, and then to challenge those very beliefs ourselves. In this way we are able to sort out the truth from illusions.

    Discipline of the Spiritual Warrior

A soldier has discipline to follow orders and continues on when faced with challenges. The Spiritual Warrior’s discipline to continue on with their path when faced with challenges from their mind. It is easier to follow orders as a soldier, because we are threatened with consequences and rewarded to motivate us. This is in line with our years of conditioning. A warrior must have the discipline to practice deal with their own mind without someone else providing the motivation with carrots or sticks. A warrior must exercise their own will at the command of their heart, not an outside authority figure. This often means going against the fearful opinions in our mind that tempt us with illusions of punishment and rewards. We must also have the discipline to follow our own heart even when tempted by another person’s opinion. This way of living requires disciplined practice.

The Love of the Spiritual Warrior

A soldier has a commitment to love his/her country. The Spiritual warrior must have the commitment to love him/her self. The warrior then extends that love to humanity. The commitment is required because in our journey we will certainly fumble and fall many times. It is in having a strong commitment that we get back up again. It is common to fall to judgment. It can be easy to love some people, particularly the people that like us or treat us well. However, it requires a tremendous commitment to love in the face of those that reject us. This commitment will cause us to challenge our beliefs about our judgments and not being compassionate. We must be committed to love beyond our own self-serving interests of what it will bring us. This is how we will become happy beyond our current paradigm of beliefs. In time we become committed to love for the sheer enjoyment of expressing love. This becomes our commitment. We nourish ourselves with the love we express. A warrior acts in this committed way, even when challenged.

In my point of view, Jesus Christ was the greatest Warrior. He had the courage, discipline, and openness to Love unconditionally even as he was being rejected and physically persecuted during his days. Even when his body was in physical pain, the only emotions he created and expressed were of love and compassion. He did not use a reason in his mind to hate or judge. This is extraordinary impeccability. If he could love in his challenges, then we can learn to love unconditionally in our challenges.

Plant A Garden in Your Heart

If you feel the stresses of work, personal life, relationships, finances or anything that weighs you down, you do not need to go to a building or a church to find the peace and restfulness you seek. It is not always easy, especially in a city to get away to a garden or park but you can cultivate your own and go there at least once daily.
Because it is your garden in your heart and you can form it any way you want to. When the screeching tires and screaming voices become too much, you just close your eyes and walk into your own piece of heaven.

Do you hear the wind chimes and the fountains of water as you sit on the comfortable bench and feel the tension draining away?
Can you feel the breeze, smell the damp earth?

Taking this time may seem like a luxury but it may become the only place of solitude and solace you can truly depend upon in the coming times. In your garden there is no bad news, no deadlines, nothing you don’t plant. Make it green and luxurious and well watered. Lay on the moss covered ground and watch the clouds travel across the sky if you like. If you want swans, put them there. If you like lagoons, then make one. Whatever gives you the most joy and pleasure and you will want to go there often to refresh and renew yourself.

You may discover some remarkable things in your garden. You may find your mind going to places you could never get to before and thinking new and wonderful thoughts. We all have a potential garden in our hearts but we just need to take the time to cultivate it. Here is the place where inspiration blossoms and you can take a deep breath. You may have to answer to others in the outside world but in your garden you have no one to answer to except yourself. There is health in this garden and hope in this garden and life itself for the heart that lays down in the bosom of the earth, always rests at peace.

Remember: Humanity started to lose the outer garden when they began to lose the inner garden. We can get ourselves back to the garden one by one.

    Tree Hugger

    A Small Piece of Heaven
    Tree House

A new view of a situation is just what we need to answer a difficult question or see something we’ve been missing.

There is no greater way to escape the troubles of daily life than to ascend into the welcoming embrace of a tree house. Like a bird in its nest, we feel held and safe in the branches, cloaked within a curtain of green leaves. Here we can breathe more freely and think more clearly, our hearts and brains fed by the oxygen released by the leaves. We float above the everyday world of the ground, enjoying a bird’s-eye view of all that remains below.

We may choose to be alone or we may invite a special friend to join us. Either way, this is our private world in which we get to decide who comes and goes. It is our haven where we can fully be who we are, shed the masks required by the world below, and reveal our most hidden secrets, dreams, and desires. It is also an ideal vantage point on the life that continues below the branches. Often, a new view of a situation is just what we need to answer a difficult question, solve a challenging problem, or see something we’ve been missing. It is as if we have ascended into the heavens and are able to tap into a higher awareness. We can draw on this airy energy to revitalize us, relax us, and feed us new ideas. When we descend, we are ready to enter the world again, cleaner, clearer, and often more inspired.

If you haven’t been in a tree house for a while, now may be the time to make one for yourself or find one you can borrow. If you can’t find or create an actual tree house, think of other venues that could provide the same experience—a rooftop perch, a quiet spot in a grove of trees on a hilltop, a light-filled attic. Or just close your eyes and visualize yourself ensconced in your perfect home in the branches of your favorite tree.

    As You Believe
    Create Completeness
When we affirm that we are fulfilled rather than deficient, we are asserting that contentment is a natural way of being.

The creative power of the universe is infinite. A single molecule's destiny is as important as the consequences of the largest supernova. Human potential is subject to this power, but because we are sentient beings, each of us is permitted to choose whether we will struggle against it or work in tandem with it. When we give voice to our desires through focused meditation or solicit the help of spirit guides, we draw upon the universe's creative power to achieve certain ends. However, because our words are not all the universe hears, the response we receive may surprise us. The discourse we establish through our appeals is a blend of speech, thought, intention, and subconscious reflection. When we ask the universe for something, the unspoken message is that what we want does not exist, and the universe accepts this as truth. Conversely, we manifest completeness through affirmations in which we declare our desires as if we have already obtained them.

When we affirm that we are fulfilled instead of articulating deficiencies, we are asserting that contentment is a natural and necessary element of human existence. Our essence is an expression of fulfillment—the universe wants to satisfy our needs and desires. When we describe our realities in positive terms, we are not denying the challenges inherent in existence. We choose not to focus on lack or dissatisfaction because we understand that the energy of our thoughts will determine the response we receive to our entreaties. Ask yourself how you would feel if your wishes were granted, and then allow yourself to internalize that emotional state. Try to create a picture of satisfaction so vivid that its reality is unquestionable and tell the universe that your vision is fact. At the close of your appeal, express your gratitude, as it is your acknowledgment of the truth of your fulfillment that will set the creative power of the universe into motion.

Working in perfect unison with the creative power of the universe will empower you to manifest spiritual realities in your material existence. As you affirm the beauty, peace, and goodness that already exist within in your life, your capacity to sense and understand their influence will become increasingly sophisticated. To meet your needs and achieve your desires, you need then only banish all thoughts of emptiness so that the energy of completeness can attract fullness into your being.

Why Is This Not Taught in Schools?
    Tree Hugger

When trees (and all other living systems), proceed to grow, they all branch out from the trunk(1) to two main branches (2).
Then 3. But then instead of 4, the number pattern leaps to 5. From there each new number is created by adding the two previous number, for example 5+3 is 8.

A spiral or a rectangle can be formed by following this pattern as well. Think of inches instead of numbers where a turn is made with each new number. 1 inch, then 2, then 3, the 5 inches, then 8 and 13 inches, then 13+8 is 21 and it continues by always adding the previous two numbers.

Not just the trees but the leaves on the trees appear according to this pattern. All forms without exception are based on these numbers. That is why a human lung is similar to a tree formation and the human ear has the same curve as the ram’s horn and the spiral of the conch shell. We could say that all of nature spirals.

The fingers on your hand are smaller versions of your arm.

So the appearance of randomness in nature is really hidden order; hidden in plain sight. This self similar system called nature is the very definition of a fractal and is one thing repeated over and over.

The entire system of nature is then one large fractal

The human neutral network when magnified resembles the large scale structure of the universe. The spiraling galaxy is the same pattern as the swirl of a pine cone. The earth does not just move around galactic center it spirals forward.

The old Hermetic truism ‘As Above, so Below’ is another description of a fractal. Heraclitus said ‘man is the measure of all things.’

Let me add, one picture is worth a thousand words, so below is a visual.

    What Is A Higher Mind?

Your higher mind is with you right now. Your human mind is also with you. The human mind is limited and does not know what the higher mind knows. Wisdom comes with consulting the higher mind in all things and trusting it. Some call it the little voice, however it is just as little or loud as the human mind allows it to be, because on earth, your human mind has the choice of listening or not. It has also at times been called the lower mind, the fallen mind and a whole range of other names very uncomplimentary to the human species because it was not understood in religious circles that this was part of the divine plan. The higher mind has been called the conscience. Cartoons show the devil sitting on the shoulder while the angel sits on the other shoulder, but when you stepped into the universal flow of the cosmos, everything you saw, separated itself into the good and the bad.

This is not how it is. Duality or separation into things good and things bad are just the human mind’s way of categorizing things. The human mind assigns good and bad status to things. The Higher Mind knows there are aspects of both in all things.

The importance of the higher mind and belief in it is so important because you are multi-dimensional and your higher mind resides simultaneously with your human mind, what your human mind is really perceiving is you at the future time from where it sits. You are it’s past while it is your future. You will at some point look back on this as your human experience.

Those who have realized they have a higher mind are called wise by those who have not realized they have one also. When they come to this realization, they turn away from looking outward at the wise teachers and begin to consult their own teacher. There is much confusion in this area because those who often and continually seek the council of their own higher mind, begin to think in terms of the higher mind instead of the human mind. Others choose to hardly ever listen and as a result fall into pit after pit and stumble from one disaster to another. They did not trust themselves and so they have no one else to blame for the things in life which happen to them.

Some call the higher mind intuition or inspiration but the name is not important, it’s the communication between the two minds which is important. Once you open that conduit of communication, decisions and solutions become more clear. You more easily see which choices in the past have been led by the higher mind and which stems from purely human sources.

After all, who knows you better than yourself. You cannot pretend to be something you are not to your higher mind because it was there with you when you made the mistakes you kick yourself for. Never kick yourself, because each mistake is a stone on the path that eventually arrives at the higher mind. You will keep on evolving and growing through thousands upon thousands of years. You will pass through the human stage to the next level of development and the next and the next, growing ever wiser and ever closer to merging with your higher mind.

But for now, be content to be the human expression and see all the learning experiences not as mistakes but needed vehicles propelling you towards what you are (will be) you will not feel as religions teach, less valuable, less loved and basically a mess, which has long been taught in Christendom.

Communication with and consultation with the higher mind has the potential of leading humans our of the mire of it’s own making. By following the human mind, it has been short sighted. Really that is all it is designed to be. It is the higher mind which is designed for long range planning and for seeing solutions which to the lower mind seem invisible. When the higher mind is listened to and the solution applied, the human mind thinks, why didn’t I see that before? Not realizing that it never listened before and that is why it did not see it.

The difference between the past and future earth is that more than ever are listening to their higher mind and it has put up many sign posts. Humanity only has to learn to listen to that voice within.

    Antidote For Fear

“IN EACH INFINITESIMAL PART OF YOURSELF RESIDES THE ONE IN ALL OF ITS POWER.”

The above statement may be rejected by you but move that aside just for a moment to consider that scientific researchers have found that not only are each electron in each atom able to communicate with every other electron, so that what one electron knows what they all know in a sort of holographic connection but that this communication is instantaneous because it is all connected in one network. There are things underneath our human perception that are so mind stretching and yet they line up with the above statement. The One has been called by many names and never was outside of you.

All that you see from the moment you open your eyes in the morning until the time you close them at night, everything that you see, taste, feel, smell and hear can be described as a virtual reality universe and it all comes from within you. Every other human has their own production going on. The illusion is so good that it appears that everything is outside of you and that every individual sees the same version of the universe. You many not look like what you are and you may have been told you are something quite different, but them we are all taught about the world from others who never knew about the quantum universe either.

Many of the following quotes are not from other humans but from entities speaking through humans who claim to be of other dimensions and of a helpful nature. Before you label these lies or trickery see how these make you feel. Do they make you feel like the evening news, fearful, worried about the future, troubled and doomed? Or do they make you feel like you want to hear more?

The following words in quote marks are from an entity called Ptaah. If the electrons in your body are communicating then maybe there is more to you than meets the eye. Ptaah said:

“There is nothing outside of you but a reflection, a mirror. Whatever your focus is, you will see the mirror. When others tell you that you live in an unsafe universe and that you must do this or that to be safe, you create grand drama. You tap into all of this and their reality, becomes your reality.”

From the Ra Group comes this:

“You are every thing, every being and every emotion, every situation.
You are unity, you are infinity.
    You are love-light and light-love.
    You are.
This is the Law of One.”

Scientists call the electrons holographic. Could life be a immense hologram?

The following are the words of a completely different entity from any of those quoted above. This entity is named Bashar:

“The only thing you can discover in your universe is more of you.
You are your universe. You fill it completely. There is nothing else in it. The idea is, that whatever appears to be in the universe with you is your version of that thing.
Any other people you interact with, you really do not interact with them directly in that way. You create your version of them and populate your universe with your version of them in order to agree to interact with that person. You are creating that anyway. So who is there in your universe to reject you, but you? What is there in your universe to discover but more of you? Nothing.
You are safe. You are completely safe because it’s all you. Because you are creating everything that you interact with, in order to have an interactive experience you have to create a simulacrum; a representation of something to interact with out of your own energy, out of your own consciousness. That doesn’t mean the other person does not exist, but what you are interacting with is not them directly, per say, interacting with your version of them, of your creation of them, so it’s still made out of you. So that’s all you’ll discover is more of you in the unknown. So all you are doing is getting to know yourself, the bigger you. The bigger you is wonderful. She or he can help you. There is nothing to be afraid of about him or her.”

Is this difficult for you to understand or accept? So is the quantum universe and yet we take the scientific word that it exists and works like this. When you listen to the world news is that your own fear that is trickling into your heart or someone else’s fear of the future?

Now we have a message from The Hathors Group.

“Your planet is poised on the brink of utter transformation. The form of this transformation has multiple expressions, and it is you—the collective—that will affect these outcomes to a greater or lesser degree.
Some of these outcomes, these possibilities, fulfill the prophecies of planetary destruction and purification. Other timelines, other expressions, reveal a different outcome. A sudden unexpected shift in human consciousness could bring the Controllers, who have so negatively affected your destiny, to their knees. And there are hundreds of other possible timelines between these two polarities. There are vested interests in your society who wish you to remain hypnotized, which wish for you to continue in the delusion that you are limited to one timeline, one experience of life as they so deem it.”

“As paradoxical as it may seem is it quite possible to live in a separate time line, having a different experience than those around you. To say this another way, it is possible to live in heaven while those around you are living in torment. At the deepest levels of consciousness it is simply a matter of choice.”

    Born Into A Dream

You were born into a dream that was running on many levels. If you can see your body as part of the illusion you will not let fear freeze your conscious mind. This was an illusion you fully took part in designed because you knew when you were awakened you would see the grand scale and be amused that you spent one moment sweating it out. However sweating it out goes with the dream because no one told you that you are safe. Seth told humans things like you create your own reality but then left it at that. Some of the more recent messages coming in from other dimensions are telling us how that is done. It could be that they were waiting for us to accept the quantum universe and concepts our grandfathers and mothers could not have grasped. Perhaps now is the time for the awareness and cognition to have expanded enough for us to accept our full power as well as our full responsibility.

After all if you know you are controlling it all, where does that leave fear? You certainly don’t fear yourself. When the news shoves fear down your throat, don’t swallow just switch it off as not pertaining to you. Life is a mirror and if you see nothing but slavery in your mirror change the slave into a free person and the reflection, which is your version of the world will be free.

    Tree Hugger

Contemplate this verse from Hui Neng

    it goes something like this

    There is no bodhi tree
nor a stand of mirror bright
    since all is void
    where can the dust alight

    QUOTE

I was drifting in and out of consciousness during this time, and I could feel my spirit actually leaving my body. I saw and heard the conversations between my husband and the doctors taking place outside my room, about 40 feet away down a hallway. I was later able to verify this conversation to my shocked husband. Then I actually "crossed oveIr" to another dimension, where I was engulfed in a total feeling of love. I also experienced extreme clarity of why I had the cancer, why I had come into this life in the first place, what role everyone in my family played in my life in the grand scheme of things, and generally how life works. The clarity and understanding I obtained in this state is almost indescribable. Words seem to limit the experience – I was at a place where I understood how much more there is than what we are able to conceive in our 3-dimensional world. I realized what a gift life was, and that I was surrounded by loving spiritual beings, who were always around me even when I did not know it.

The amount of love I felt was overwhelming, and from this perspective, I knew how powerful I am, and saw the amazing possibilities we as humans are capable of achieving during a physical life. I found out that my purpose now would be to live “heaven on earth” using this new understanding, and also to share this knowledge with other people. However I had the choice of whether to come back into life, or go towards death. I was made to understand that it was not my time, but I always had the choice, and if I chose death, I would not be experiencing a lot of the gifts that the rest of my life still held in store. One of the things I wanted to know was that if I chose life, would I have to come back to this sick body, because my body was very, very sick and the organs had stopped functioning. I was then made to understand that if I chose life, my body would heal very quickly. I would see a difference in not months or weeks, but days!

I was shown how illnesses start on an energetic level before they become physical. If I chose to go into life, the cancer would be gone from my energy, and my physical body would catch up very quickly. I then understood that when people have medical treatments for illnesses, it rids the illness only from their body but not from their energy so the illness returns. I realized if I went back, it would be with a very healthy energy. Then the physical body would catch up to the energetic conditions very quickly and permanently. I was given the understanding that this applies to anything, not only illnesses – physical conditions, psychological conditions, etc. I was "shown" that everything going on in our lives was dependant on this energy around us, created by us. Nothing was solid - we created our surroundings, our conditions, etc. depending where this "energy" was at. The clarity I received around how we get what we do was phenomenal! It’s all about where we are energetically. I was made to feel that I was going to see "proof" of this first hand if I returned back to my body.

The scientists did some tests on DNA. Emotions have an affect on DNA and those under stress display DNA that contracts inward and at the time I thought how some individuals go into the fetal position when the fear becomes overwhelming. Fear makes the DNA contract inward and curl up. A fearful person is not open to new experiences and wants to hide and curl up in a ball. It freezes the mind and the person only thinks of themselves. But once the fear is gone they can go forth boldly and not shrink back from the unknown. Meeting new people is a sign that one is relaxed and comfortable with themselves, in their own skin so to speak.

You cannot feel compassion for others when all you can do is focus on yourself and your problems. You don't really care about the problems of others since your own are so big. The creative state of mind is one of excitement and enthusiasm and new frontiers to projects.

I believe the writer of Dune said, fear is the mind killer. It holds you in place. You dare not step ahead because it might be dangerous. That are the two polar opposites, not love and hate. Love and fear.

    When Enough Is Enough

When there is an ongoing problem with someone in your life not listening to your requests, then the very fact it is for you a problem means it wants to get your attention. It’s like a neon sign flashing ‘I need attention’.

Sometimes these problems continue year after year and they are never addressed because you may want peace and do not wish to make waves. But this approach robs you of peace and the only way to regain that peace is to address it.

When someone is in your environment, in your life, in your world, there is a reason if they continue for some time. If you were at peace there would be no problem.

It is only a problem when you feel infringed upon, disrespected, by allowing that disrespect to stand for whatever reason. Then your own self respect erodes away.
It is not easy to say to someone you care about, either you respect me or you and I need to separate. Sometimes it’s a matter of teaching them there are consequences for ignoring your requests. If you feel your requests are reasonable, then allow them to make the choice of staying with boundaries you set, or leaving.

Have nothing they can use as leverage over you. They might claim to pay part of the rent or do other favors which benefit you but living in such a situation is not worth any monetary or other gain to you. In the end you lose and it may even establish in their minds how to go through life manipulating others. Such services or favors do not come from the heart but are in the end self serving, because true love does not look to it’s own interest.

Confronting such a person, especially if it is a relative, takes unflinching courage and should be done in a spirit of firmness with love, not anger and loud voices. Sometimes empty threats have been used in the past and been shrugged off by the individual. Here is where calmness will let them know you mean what you say.
If such a situation had persisted for a number of years and the individual has promised many things, many times, yet always falls back in the old patterns, these old patterns may even be karma waiting to be resolved.

We have been born into life on earth to learn whatever lessons is pertinent for each of us, and if discomfort keeps us repeating a pattern of always caving in just to keep peace rather than demanding the respect that we deserve and give to others, then our lack of dealing with the situation keeps that person with us sometimes for years. Sometimes this is carried over from other lifetimes. Love means respect for others but self respect is part of the equation. We live in a world where there are those who seek what they can get and those who seek what they can give and learning to balance these two things is why many have the need to repeat a lesson until they learn this karmic balance.

A self seeking person is like a bottomless hole of taking and the only way to protect oneself from not being sucked into their well is to say, no, I won’t continue to give while all you do it take.

If you are doubting this at all, thinking you must take it, and suffer through, all you need to do is ask yourself if your inner sense of justice to is violated and how it feels each time a request is ignored or a line of respect has been crossed by that person. Does it feel good? Being taken advantage of always feels bad and that is your guide.

Often times the person will leave voluntarily making it seem as if you are throwing them out, but that is just a smoke screen for bad behavior. But you have to open the door and say, there’s the door and you are free to leave if these requests are not acceptable. If you notice a feeling like a great giant weight being lifted off of you at just the prospect of doing this and then actually doing it, then you will know this is what you should be doing.

    New Green Seeds

The seeds of a new earth are already sprouting. Botanists and seed experts tell me there are new species of seeds and new plants they have never seen before emerging from the ground.

The Hopi Indians foretold this would happen right before the emergence of the 5th world. Consider these new seeds.

Would God really cause new seeds to sprout on an earth which was soon to be devoid of life? This sounds more like an earth get ready for a new birth, rather than death.

“And, there is a new heaven and a new earth,” “Look, I am making all things new.”

That above quote is from the Bible but it is echoed in many other prophecies of other cultures around the world, and is the same meaning, only different language.

To the Hindu it is the Golden Age. It is birth of something new to the Mayans and the symbol of new life; a child. It sounds like a new start not a end.

There are individuals on earth who have looked forward to this time for decades and this vision of the new earth was always before them, no matter how dark the minds or deeds, this belief was like a seed planted in the hearts of all those people and as the new seeds emerge, those seeds are sprouting and growing like rich luxuriant vegetation in their hearts. Green is the color of the heart chakra and green is the color of the new earth.

We Are Moving on to a Quantum Level: Communication, Holographic Universe, FTL Travel--Einstein's Disproven

We are at the beginning of a new era in the application of Quantum Physics. From computing to telecommunications and from healthcare to energy, the most significant innovations and inventions of our time are manifest at the Quantum Level. Does this herald the onset of the Quantum Age? Paradigm-changing Quantum Technologies provide significant solutions to current global challenges in many critical areas of human endeavour and may also present outstanding opportunities for proactive, brave and technologically savvy inventors, innovators and investors.

    Dawn of the Quantum Age?

    Quantum Entanglement & Quantum Coherence

Quantum Entanglement occurs when two entities or systems appear to us to be separate but through Quantum Coherence act as one system, with states being able to be transferred wholesale from one entity to the other but without a known signal being transferred. Quantum Entanglement is at the heart of understanding how significant events across the universe operate at the macro- and micro- level in synchronicity despite considerable distance between them. Quantum Entanglement suggests that information is exchanged faster between Quantum Entangled particles than the speed of light.

    Action at a Distance

In Quantum Mechanics, non-locality refers to "action at a distance" arising from measurement correlations on Quantum Entangled states. The dividing line between the micro world of Quantum Processes and the macro world of classical physics is fading. Evidence is quickly mounting of the use in nature of Quantum properties and processes including Quantum Entanglement. Recent science has shown that Quantum Coherence and Entanglement provide the only viable explanation for a host of mysteries in nature: how photosynthesis in plants works, how birds migrate, how millions of cells co-ordinate hundreds of thousands of activities simultaneously without significant errors, and more.

    Instantaneous Communication

It did take a long time to prove that Quantum Entanglement truly existed. It wasn’t until the 1980s that it was clearly demonstrated. In 1982, at the University of Paris, a research team led by physicist Alain Aspect performed what may turn out to be one of the most important experiments of the 20th century. Aspect and his team discovered that under certain circumstances subatomic particles such as electrons are able to instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them. The challenge posed to scientists with this discovery is that it violates Einstein’s long-held tenet that no communication can travel faster than the speed of light. Is the universe violating Einstein's special theory of relativity all the time?

    Holographic Universe

Since travelling faster than the speed of light is tantamount to breaking the time barrier, this daunting prospect has caused some physicists to try to come up with elaborate ways to explain away Alain Aspect’s findings. It has also inspired others to offer even more radical explanations including that of the holographic universe! The implications of a holographic universe are truly mind boggling… Aspect’s findings imply that objective reality does not exist, that despite its apparent solidity the universe is at heart a phantasm, a gigantic and splendidly detailed hologram. To understand why a number of physicists including David Bohm made this startling assertion, one must first understand a little about holograms.

    Hologram

A hologram is a three-dimensional photograph made with the aid of a laser. To make a hologram, the object to be photographed is first bathed in the light of a laser beam. Then a second laser beam is bounced off the reflected light of the first and the resulting interference pattern -- the area where the two laser beams superimpose -- is captured on film. When the film is developed, it looks like a meaningless swirl of light and dark lines. But as soon as the developed film is illuminated by another laser beam, a three-dimensional image of the original object appears!

    No Sub-Parts

The three-dimensionality of such images is not the only remarkable characteristic of holograms. If a hologram of a rose is cut in half and then illuminated by a laser, each half is still found to contain the entire image of the rose. Indeed, even if the halves are divided again, each snippet of film is always found to contain a smaller but intact version of the original image. Unlike normal photographs, every part of a hologram contains all the information possessed by the whole! This is exactly like fractals in nature and mathematics.

    Whole in Every Part

The "whole in every part" nature of a hologram provides us with an entirely new way of understanding organisation and order. For most of its history, Western science has laboured under the bias that the best way to understand a physical phenomenon, whether a frog or an atom or a national economy, is to dissect it and to study its respective components. A hologram teaches us that some things in the universe may be understood only as integrated holistic systems. If we try to take apart something constructed holographically, we will not get the pieces of which it is made. We will only get smaller wholes or less evolved, less detailed, incomplete miniatures of the whole picture.

    Extensions of the Same Source

This insight suggested to some scientists, including David Bohm, another way of understanding Aspect’s discovery. Bohm believed the reason subatomic particles are able to remain in contact with one another regardless of the distance separating them is not because they are sending some sort of mysterious signal back and forth, but because their separateness is, in fact, an illusion. Bohm suggested that at some deeper level of reality such particles are not individual entities, but are actually system components of the same fundamental something!

Need to Back R&D Led Quantum Innovation & Invention

The dividing line between the micro world of quantum and the macro world of classical physics is fading. For example, in the field of healthcare, complementary and alternative medicine has claimed the niche for “energetic” and “informational” medicine. However, conventional medicine is fast catching on. For example, biotechnologies designed to assess the state of the human biofield have been developed. They are changing the face of healthcare and are able to stimulate the body’s self-healing capabilities via technology. The pathway to innovation goes both ways: technologies are invented which then need the support of theoretical underpinnings, and emerging-science theories may also drive technological development. The prescient inventor, innovator and investor needs to be proactive in raising awareness on all fronts.

    Investing in Future Technologies

The same principles of Quantum Entanglement, Resonance and Coherence apply to other fields, such as telecommunications, computers, and energy. Imagine communication devices that need no cables or even a wireless infrastructure. Imagine information being able to be transported over distances in a holistic state-dependent way instead of bit by bit or in packets.

    Unique Properties of Water

Recent research into the structure of water by Nobel Prize-winner Luc Montagnier, and as previously suggested by Jacques Benveniste, has shown water’s ability to retain information imprinted into it in a stable manner that is retrievable at a later date!

    Applications including Highly Secure Communications

There are some real and amazing applications of Quantum Entanglement in the security world. It can be used to produce unbreakable encryption. If we send each half of a set of entangled pairs to either end of a communications link, then the randomly generated but linked properties can be used as a key to encrypt information. If anyone intercepts the information it will break the entanglement, and the communication can be stopped before the eavesdropper picks up any data.

    Noosphere

If we look closely, the collective consciousness is rising also all around us via the Noosphere. As that collective consciousness accelerates it creates the perception of the flight of time. All space-time is non-permanent and in a state of flux. We are just becoming more aware of this phenomenon and the illusion which envelopes and underpins it. The Noosphere can be seen as the "sphere of human thought" being derived from the Greek vou? ("nous") meaning "mind" in the style of "atmosphere" and "biosphere". In the original works of Teilhard de Chardin as well as Vladimir Vernadsky, the Noosphere is the third in a succession of phases of development of the Earth, after the Geosphere -- inanimate matter -- and the Biosphere -- biological life. Just as the emergence of life fundamentally transformed the Geosphere, the emergence of collective human cognition fundamentally transforms the Biosphere.

    Rising Collective Consciousness

The Noosphere is becoming more evident via internet, web and mobile communities -- manifest as Cloud Computing -- which are ubiquitous and removing the separation imposed by distance, ie, we are all accessible and can access each other anywhere and everywhere, all at once, thereby displaying Quantum Entanglement type phenomena! As a result, increasingly one is showered with synchronicity reinforcing patterns of the unifying energy field -- the Singularity -- in everyone and everything: all manifest in real time as One. At the same time, the Great Unwind (2007-?) and the Great Reset (2008-?) in the global economy have synchronicity, severity, speed and scale that are historically unprecedented, resulting in a shift in collective consciousness. The natural turbulences and cascading effects from tornadoes and tsunamis, earthquakes and volcanoes, as well as electromagnetic flux changes are also on an unprecedented scale.

    Rapid Evolution

In the 21st century, we are much more connected with each other digitally and the spiritual or trans-physical connections, events, happenings -- that have always been there -- are beginning to demonstrate their own unifying presence via showers of synchronicity, that portend the Singularity via self-explaining signs or signatures. Those signatures come in the shape of events, happenings or connections that we may call "Haps!" Synchronicity is obvious with the rising level of individual and collective consciousness in regard to our holistic inter-connectivity in space and time enabled physically, digitally and through the primordial and ever present transcendental heightened connectivity. More connectivity creates the opportunity for more Haps taking place in unison leading to rapid evolution.

    Asymmetric Opportunities

What are the upside possibilities and asymmetric opportunities for humanity, which might emerge out of the global crises? Historically, it is in times of massive conflict or crises of survival that humans find themselves able to rise above personal preoccupations and egocentric thinking to consider the ways in which humankind as a whole might rise above such events in common purpose and common effort. Some observations that came out of this collective thinking are as follows:

    1. The "Age of Narcissism" may be coming to an end as trans-national deep crises cut the model of "me-first and me-last" ranging from those events we are yet to see in the global financial markets, socio-economic systems, lifestyle experiments to health, well being and collective awakening;

    2. The Metamorphosis of Narcissism, ie, Selfishness, towards the Golden Age of greater good and self-lessness is bound to prevail in the midst of a series of global and personal crises precipitated by ignoring natural limits, short term gain capitalism and neo-economic imperialism;

    3. Evolution from an ego-centric self-gratification vision of the world towards collective-thinking and community betterment/survival shaped by global crises may be increasingly becoming a necessity for humanity;

    4. Elimination of the arrogant "I" and "short term gain" model of globalisation and capitalism towards the humbler "we" and "long term sustainability" foundations for a "Wisdom based Global Economy" is becoming more manifest; and

    5. The Noosphere's -- The Sphere of human thought's -- role is vast in helping to eliminate "manipulations, errors and omissions" by hierarchical authorities and to raise "collective consciousness" to reach the "Omega point" via the global internet, web and mobile technologies as well as inner spiritual progress.

    Omega Point

The French philosopher Teilhard de Chardin emphasised the way that geography and distance are eliminated as human minds coalesce to solve a problem or fight a common enemy eventually to reach the "Omega point." Teilhard de Chardin said, "The age of nations is past. The task before us now, if we would not perish, is to build the earth."

    Infinite Field

The Noosphere's emergence is transforming everything it comes into contact with. In this sense there is the idea of some supra universal energy field -- Singularity -- from which all this connectivity and unity is emerging very rapidly. The Noosphere can be thought of as a layer of the collective and connective mind(s) coalescing into one. Connective intelligence, collective intelligence, and corrective intelligence all unite through transparent interaction in this emergent infinite field.

    Bio, Info and Nano (BIN)

To us as humanity, the presence of the Singularity becomes obvious in the 21st century based on the collective and individual observation that a lot of technological trends are accelerating faster and faster. Look around you! Although there are a number of such trends that in and of themselves have the potential for deeply transforming our collective lives, the Bio, Info and Nano (BIN) instances are worth considering:

    1. Bio-technology and Genetic Engineering: What happens as we are able to understand and to design genetically engineered organisms freely? And we make bodies or new life forms with whatever attributes we want, what next? What are the consequences -- benign and diabolical?

    2. Informatics and Artificial Intelligence: The pervasive anywhere anytime digital computing and connectivity via mobile telephones, the internet and satellite navigation has now created a holistic cybersphere where we live our visible and tangible lives both at the physical and non-physical levels simultaneously. What happens as computers become smarter decision makers than we are in certain critical areas? What happens as those computers are a million times smarter decision makers than any of us in certain critical areas? What can they do that we are not even able to comprehend? One example to contemplate is High Frequency Trading (HFT) proliferating across most asset classes and geographic domains.

    3. Nanotechnology: This ultimately allows us complete control over physical matter, so that we can step-by-step build any physical object we may imagine or require via molecular assemblers, at near-zero marginal cost and locally. What are the implications in regard to the break down in world trade and de-globalisation?

    Infinity Manifest

The Roman philosopher Cicero observed more than two thousand years ago, "Everything is alive; everything is interconnected!" or "Omnia vivunt, omnia inter se conexa!" We are beginning to see the entire universe as a holographically interlinked network of energy and information, organically whole, undergoing rapid evolution. The "point" of the Singularity is reached essentially when all of the scientific and technological innovation trends appear to go out of control at the human level, ie, they have moved beyond our event horizon, and we can no longer follow along any previous linear logic or understanding to comprehend their combined effects. That technological change is instantaneous and omnipresent and defined by the Quantum Age. As we establish and activate the new "Quantum Innovation Labs" we aim to be at the forefront of nurturing Quantum Technology inventions and innovations.

"My life is such that all earthly beings and growing things belong to me. Your father, the Great Spirit, has said this. You too must say this."
