Leaving for San Francisco/Arizona/Utah/Oregon/Washington - be back the 26th.

Mercuriel is also gone until October so you're on your own. I'll try to check
in while at the various airports - god willing.

Love you all, you're the best.

    Aloha, Carol

Interesting destinations. I'm not sure why -- but I thought they were interesting. Hope you have a happy and safe journey, Carol. Thank-you for your hard work on this site. Thank-you for allowing me to make this site my 'home away from home'. If I were doing this over, I'd do things very differently. I wish I could start over. Namaste.

Thank you - however, this is a working family business trip instead of a holiday. And unfortunately my son's furniture is still in customs, so I'll likely be sleeping on a couch pale for two nights before off on the next leg. Wouldn't it be grand if we could just pack up our bed and pillows and take it with us?

Love the jets Oxy. Way cool.

I once quipped to my friend that if we could have a portal between our two places, it would be like having another room in your house! drunken

Safe and efficient journeys dearest Carol!

Remember, if you get delayed, lost, detained, or diverted, it's likely for a very good reason. Hope you see opportunities when you need them, and clarity and peace of mind the rest of the time! Big Grin 2

Those pictures are hysterical devakas. My back aches from all the recent work we've been doing.

    This looks delightful

I think I'm carrying more food as gifts then clothes along. Got the packing down to one very small carry-on bag and one tote.

When flying out from Hawaii islands dont they have a separate line to check-in for passengers with food, plants and seeds? Doesn't it require spec. approval?

wish you safe and nice trip!! Flowers

Thank you devakas. Everything goes through 2 inspections. An agricultural one for what you mentioned and the other searched and x-rayed. I keep food in the carry on tote so it can be easily x-rayed and searched.

Hi everyone... back home - more on this later. Never worked so hard in my life. Up at 5 am and to bed at 10 or 11 pm. Now I remember what we used to do before TV or the internet. We worked from dawn to dusk and then some.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Unfortunately, I'm now covered in hives from Mr. Scrubbly Bubbles. The itching is driving me nuts.

I still can't believe traveling over 3 thousand miles, taking 4 air planes to get there and then driving an additional 9 hours to clean a mouse infested house!

How did life get so complicated?

Oh yeah. Having a sciopathic elder brother complicates lots of things.

    Apple Cider Vinegar

Another way to treat a bad case of the hives is with apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is made from apples and is created through bacteria and yeasts. The bacteria and yeast break down the fruit to form acetic acid. According to Organic Facts, apple cider vinegar helps to relieve the itching that is associated with hives. To use this remedy, simply mix one part apple cider vinegar with two parts water to create a liquid mixture. Some people even like to use apple cider vinegar and cornstarch to create a paste. Apply the liquid mixture or paste to your hives. If the hives are over a large portion of your body, put the liquid mixture in a spray bottle and spray it over the affected area after bathing.
