    Conscientiology

Have you ever heard that term?  I had not.  It means consciousness science.

There is a conference coming up next month, the 1st International Congress of Conscientiology, in Portugal.

Tom Campbell will be a speaker:

Does this mean that science has now changed so that something that is non-physical is a part of science?

I rather like Tom Campbell and do appreciate the idea of a Consciousness science cheers
    A good move.
Thanks for letting us know about this Seashore.

    Love from me

I do too and have bookmarked his YouTube channel.  I really need to see and hear a person in order to evaluate their written words for myself.  He has numerous videos:  https://www.youtube.com/user/twcjr44/videos

The venue in Portugal is the International Academy of Consciousness Research Campus.

Here is an interesting video about the campus:

I see that Nassim Haramein will be speaking, along with two others, on "The Unified Spacememory Network: From Cosmogenesis to Consciousness":

Nassim Haramein, William Brown and Amira Val Baker

    Abstract:

A generalized holographic approach has been applied with Planck pixilation at the event horizon of protons, from which the radius has been extrapolated with more precision than the Standard Model to date. The proton surface horizon Planck pixels are termination points of a Wheeler wormhole network that connects all information across scales. Because information within the wormhole network at the Planck scale is distributed instantaneously and holographically, recorded and processed through the actions of spacememory, awareness is an intrinsic aspect of this fundamental domain, and is an integral component of the process of creation.  This may exert an ordering influence driving evolution and development from cosmogenesis to biogenesis, leading eventually to complex, self-aware biological systems. Information feedback/feedforward processes are acting at all scales, such that the self-awareness of complex living systems is informed by, and informing the Planck field, where the information is present instantaneously across space and time.

I remember when I was first introduced to the work of Haramein, that he talked about meditation being a part of his work early on, and that I was impressed with that and wondered how it impacted his physics.

I'm interested in the fact that string theory is mentioned for this talk.  I thought that string theory was pretty much out the window:

Consciousness and Cosmos:  Proposal for a New Paradigm based on Physics and Introspection

    Abstract:

Nonphysical and nonlocal are the main observed phenomena that cannot be explained by contemporary science. This presentation will explore how consciousness and mind can be described from introspection and how string theory is able to model both the physical universe and the inner worlds with their nonphysical and nonlocal properties. Furthermore, it will explain how the negative solution of the energy equation supports the proposed model of the consciousness.

"Negative solution of the energy equation" makes me think of the work of Tom Bearden.
