Second State employee refuses GOP questions on Clinton server
John Bentel is a former employee who managed IT security issues.
    By RACHAEL BADE 03/13/16

A State Department staffer who oversaw security and technology issues for Hillary Clinton is refusing to answer Senate investigators’ questions about the former secretary of state’s use of a private email server — marking the second time an ex-State employee has declined to talk to lawmakers.

John Bentel, a now-retired State employee who managed IT security issues for the top echelon at the department, declined to be interviewed by GOP staff on the Senate Judiciary and Homeland Security committees, according to a letter obtained by POLITICO.
    Story Continued Below

The chairmen of both committees, Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), are now threatening to consider other ways to compel him to discuss the matter.

“We are troubled by your refusal to engage with the committees even after repeated overtures of accommodation,” the letter to Bentel and his lawyer reads. “We need to speak with you. … We would, of course, prefer that you meet with us in a voluntary and informal manner, but we will consider other options if faced with a continuing lack of cooperation.”

State IT official threatened with subpoena
    By Julian Hattem - 03/14/16

Senate Republicans are threatening to subpoena a State Department IT official who has refused to answer their questions about Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

The leaders of the Senate Judiciary and Homeland Security committees earlier this month told the official, John Bentel, that he was “an integral figure” in the State Department and should be able to answer questions about the unusual setup that Clinton used while serving as secretary of State.

Yet more than three months after lawmakers reached out, he has refused to talk.

“In order to properly exercise our constitutional oversight functions, we need to speak to you,” Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) wrote to Bentel’s lawyer. The letter was sent on March 4 but released on Monday.

The lawmakers threatened to issue a subpoena if Bentel continues to avoid their questions.

Bentel was the director of information resource management in the State Department’s Office of Executive Secretariat, and as such “may have specific knowledge relating to Secretary Clinton’s private server and email arrangement,” the lawmakers wrote. They suggested he also could talk about IT issues connected to the BlackBerry that Clinton used while in office.

Another State Department IT official, Bryan Pagliano, had previously refused to comply with Republican lawmakers’ efforts to interview him.

Earlier this month, however, news leaked that he had struck a deal for immunity in the Justice Department probe connected to Clinton’s email server. Following that report, which Attorney General Loretta Lynch has refused to discuss, Grassley and Johnson reached out to Pagliano to encourage him to testify on Capitol Hill.

Clinton, who is now the Democratic presidential front-runner, has repeatedly called the use of a private server a “mistake,” though she denies breaking any laws.

Bentel had previously voluntarily answered questions in the House’s Select Committee on Benghazi, Grassley and Johnson noted in their letter.

    SNIP

There are currently three investigations swirling around Secretary Clinton:
one, around the dual roles of Huma Abedin at the Clinton Foundation while she was also employed by the Office of the Secretary of State; two, the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation’s projects that might have proceeded without securing the required US government approval; and three, the Secretary’s handling of top secret and above top secret information on a private e-mail server rather than a secured government server. The Clinton Foundation has already had to amend its tax returns several times as a result of these investigations. Concurrently, Guccifer, an internationally renowned hacker, recently exposed that he would read Secretary Clinton’s e-mails and then go out and do his gardening. Indicted for his hacking role, he is now on his way to the US. And most recently, immunity was given to the information technology (IT) specialist who set up the Clinton server in a closet in her home bathroom. While CNN downplays the importance of the immunity grant, the UK’s Daily Mail claims a source close to the investigation says that the IT specialist is a “devastating” witness.

    March 15, 2016

    Secretary Hillary Clinton
    Post Office Box 5256
    New York, NY 10185-5256

    Dear Secretary Clinton:

In March 1993 billionaire Laurance Rockefeller initiated an extraordinary approach to your husband's administration via the Office of Science and Technology Policy headed by Dr. John Gibbons. A memorandum from Mr. Rockefeller's attorney Henry Diamond dated March 29, 1993 conveyed a request to meet with Gibbons "to discuss the potential availability of government information about unidentified flying objects and extraterrestrial life." Rockefeller, a friend and supporter of you and your husband, wanted to meet with the President and inform him "there is a belief in many quarters that the government has long held classified information regarding UFOs which has not been released and that the failure to do so has brought about unnecessary suspicion and distrust," and that "Many believe that the release of such information on a basis consistent with national security would be a significant gesture which would increase confidence in government."

Thus began a three-year effort by a notable American to convince your husband to essentially be the "Disclosure President" and end a then 46-year truth embargo on providing the full facts to the American people regarding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race. This effort, which included meetings, reports, briefings, a book, draft letters to the President and more, came to be known as the Rockefeller Initiative.

You were aware of this initiative from the beginning as was a key advisor to the President, John Podesta. You and your husband met with Rockefeller at his Wyoming ranch in August of 1995. Your husband tasked a close friend, Associate Attorney General Webster Hubbell, to look into the UFO issue at the Department of Justice and elsewhere. He tasked John Podesta, his eventual Chief of Staff, to reform and accelerate the document declassification process. You were kept informed of the ongoing initiative and helped draft a letter from Rockefeller to the President. It is notable that John Podesta, the founder and former CEO of the Center for American Progress, in 2002 and 2003 called for the release to the public of all UFO and related documents in government files. In 2004 Governor Bill Richardson, UN Ambassador and Secretary of Energy during your husband's administration, made a similar request for documents pertaining to the events in Roswell, New Mexico during July of 1947.

These facts are known from news articles, public records and, most importantly, from nearly 1000 pages of correspondence and documents obtained in 2000 by researcher Grant Cameron from the Office of Science and Technology Policy via the Freedom of Information Act. Additional relevant photos were later obtained from the Clinton Presidential Library.

From March 29, 1993 until the present day no member of the Clinton Administration involved in or privy to the Rockefeller Initiative has ever spoken publicly about it. Besides yourself, this includes President Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, Governor Bill Richardson, Secretary Leon Panetta, Mack McLarty, Webster Hubbell, John Podesta and the late Dr. John Gibbons.

In April/May of 2013 a mock congressional hearing was conducted at the National Press Club. Included in the 30 hours of testimony before six former members of the U.S. Congress were three hours of testimony on the Rockefeller Initiative. One year later, as your presidential campaign was being set up, the following series of events came about:

(April 2, 2014) President Clinton appears on Jimmy Kimmel Live and arranges to be asked about aliens.

(February 13, 2015) Upon leaving his post as advisor to President Obama, John Podesta tweets: "1. Finally, my biggest failure of 2014: Once again not securing the #disclosure of the UFO files. #thetruthisstilloutthere cc: @NYTimesDowd"

(March 13, 2015) President Obama appears on Jimmy Kimmel Live and arranges to be asked about aliens.

(September 29, 2015) Two weeks before the first Democratic primary debate referring to your interview with actress Lena Dunham, John Podesta tweets: "Great interview, @lenadunham. But Lena, ask her about aliens next time!! #TheTruthisOutThere  hrc.io/1jusfxk cc: @HillaryClinton"

(October 6, 2015) President Clinton appears on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert and arranges to be asked about aliens.

(December 30, 2015) You make extraordinary statements regarding the ET issue to Conway Daily Sun reporter Daymond Steer while campaigning in New Hampshire.

(February 11, 2016) President Obama appears on the Ellen Show knowing he would be asked about aliens.
(March 1, 2016) While campaigning in Nevada prior to the Democratic caucus, John Podesta gives an interview to Steve Sebelius of KLAS TV Las Vegas when, among other comments, he confirms your statements to the Conway Daily Sun were serious.

It would appear there is an unprecedented political subtext pointing to an unstated agenda on the part of your campaign regarding an issue of profound importance. But this agenda remains deliberately obscure with repeated requests from the media regarding the matter ignored.

It is your ambition to reach a significant milestone in American history by becoming the first President of the United States who happens to be a woman, or put another way, the 69th female head of state. While this would be an admirable legacy, what the American people need is less legacy and more truth. The people have lost patience with "in loco parentis" government that treats them like children and candidates with long lists of issues they can't discuss because it is not convenient to their campaign or the people "can't handle the truth."

Because you were introduced to these matters within the context of the White House, because you aspire to the highest office in the nation, you have an extraordinary opportunity and primary obligation to directly and unambiguously address what is easily the most significant issue of this or any other time - an issue with major national security and policy implications.

Madam Secretary, If you choose to speak truth to power, it is not enough to select those truths which are convenient or safe or self-serving. You must speak the whole truth and nothing but the truth and place your fate in the hands of history.

    Respectfully,

    Stephen Bassett
    Executive Director
    Paradigm Research Group

Communists ask Putin to slap sanctions on Hillary Clinton over Yaroshenko case

A group of Communist Party lawmakers is seeking to impose sanctions on US officials involved in the kidnapping and jailing of Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko, proposing Hillary Clinton as the first candidate for the blacklist.

In their letter, quoted by popular daily Izvestia on Monday, the MPs reminded that at the moment of Yaroshenko’s kidnapping, Hillary Clinton occupied the post of US Secretary of State, which means that the special operation against the Russian citizen could not have been developed and executed without her knowledge and sanction.

“Americans love to start media scandals about human rights violations all over the world and at the same time don’t give a damn about these rights themselves – they kidnap, torture and incarcerate whoever they want and wherever they want,” one of the signatories, Communist Party Secretary Sergey Obukhov, said in comments.

“It is clear that weak nations would be silent when the US infringes the rights of their citizens, but Russia is a strong country that can and must protect its citizens all over the world,” he added. “We should raise the topic of Yaroshenko’s release at all talks with Americans without any exception, put up pressure on them using sanctions.”

Yaroshenko is an aircraft pilot who was sentenced to 20 years in jail in the United States in 2011 for allegedly participating in a conspiracy to smuggle drugs into the country. The charges against the Russian citizens were based on testimony of US agents who admitted that all evidence was collected as a result of a sting operation. Yaroshenko was arrested in Liberia and flown to the US without official extradition procedure, despite protests from Russia and violations of the diplomatic code.

The pilot himself has always maintained his innocence, and insisted from the very beginning his case was not about drug trafficking. He says his poor command of English prevented him from understanding the nature of suggestions made to him by undercover DEA agents.

In an interview with Izvestia released in February, Yaroshenko said the administration of the prison he is being kept in had committed numerous violations of his rights, including “deliberate attempts to kill him” through cruel conditions and poor medical treatment.

Russian MPs have said that this interview prompted them to seek the introduction of the so-called ‘Yaroshenko List’ – a list of US officials subject to personal sanctions in Russia over their roles in the Russian pilot’s case.

The move has been supported by MPs from other State Duma parties. Viktor Vodolatsky of parliamentary majority United Russia party said the Yaroshenko case should have prompted an investigation in the International Court of Human Rights, adding that the authorities should use all available means to press for the release of the Russian citizen.

Oleg Pakholkov of the center-left Fair Russia said that introducing personal sanctions against US citizens involved in the scandal would become an “appropriate reply” to the illegal actions of the US law enforcers.

In 2015 Russia launched a criminal case against 11 US agents and four Liberian police officers over suspicions that they took part in the sting operation that ended in Yaroshenko’s detention. The suspects were charged in absentia with kidnapping, threats of violence and forcing a person to testify in a criminal process by using intimidation or torture. In Russia, these crimes are punishable with prison sentences of up to 12 years.

    Read more at: https://tr.im/JmnKK

    1. Email Server Scandal
Hillary has always had email issues. Not that she’s not good with a keyboard but more to do with “privacy.” During her time as Secretary of State, she send some emails via a private server when she worked from her New York residence. As such, her aides were able to decide which emails to turn over to the State Department, when requested, and which emails they did not. Due to the secretive and often sensitive nature of some of those emails, this is one of many of Hillary’s scandals. Read more at: https://tr.im/YUpGG

    2. Paula Jones Scandal
Paula Jones was a government worker in Arkansas, who alleged she was sexually harassed by Bill Clinton when he was a governor there. She filed a suit in 1994 looking for just under a million dollars in damages, although the case was settles out of court. 3. FBI Background Scandal
After the Clinton administration was found to have more than 700 FBI background reports on their rivals, the Republicans, all sorts of questions were raised. 4. Norman Hsu Scandal
For those of you who don’t know, Norman Hsu was a big contributor and fundraiser for the Democrat party during Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign of 2008. He was the man who collected contributions to the party, from a variety of “sources” and went a long way to promoting Hillary. However, Clinton was left with egg on her face when it turned out that HSU was a criminal, and more than that a fugitive, who had been scamming people and businesses for many long years. 5. Vince Foster Scandal
This chap, a well-known Arkansas lawyer, was a childhood friend of Bill Clinton and also worked closely with Hillary at Rose Law Firm during the 1970s. When Bill became President he joined the administration as the deputy White House counsel. Most said it was suicide, while many claimed it had something to do with Hillary and Bill and some “foul play.” Read more at: https://tr.im/ivZK4

    6. Jorge Cabrera Scandal
Jorge Cabrera was a supported of the Democrats in the mid-90s and even wrote them a personal check of $20,000. Just one week later and Hillary took back those comments claiming she had “made a mistake” in the recounting of what actually happened. Read more at: https://tr.im/cXDYP

    8. Personal Email Scandal
When she was Secretary of State, Hillary also used a personal email address but used it to conduct official business. She allegedly used her personal email to conduct all of her official business. She claimed she never used her personal email to send or receive “classified” information but no one is sure of the real truth about this scandal. Read more at: https://tr.im/cXDYP

    9. Travelgate Scandal
Just a few months after Bill Clinton entered the White House the well-known Travelgate scandal ensued. It started in the spring of 1993 when seven White House employees were fired for questionable accounting practices. Apparently Hillary knew all about the sudden firings way before they actually happened and may well have had a part in them. Read more at: https://tr.im/JmnKK

    10. Monica Lewinsky Scandal
Everyone remembers this one, as the relationship between Bill and Monica, who worked closely with him at the White House came out. Trump posts Instagram video starring Hillary and Putin...hilarious
    https://www.instagram.com/p/BDBS8bYGhWr/

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is targeting Hillary Clinton in a new ad, portraying the Democratic presidential candidate as not tough enough to handle major foreign policy issues.

A 15-second video posted to Trump's Instagram account shows Russian President Vladimir Putin showing off his martial arts skills and a masked militant pointing a gun at the camera.

"When it comes to facing our toughest opponents, the Democrats have the perfect answer," the video says, cutting to a clip of Clinton barking like a dog last month when she taunted Republicans.

Putin cracks up in Trump's video before text appears back on screen, stating, "We don't need to be a punchline!"

Trump last month had decried what he called a double standard over Clinton's barking, calling the former secretary of State a "joke."

The candidates are sharpening their barbs at one another on the heels of victories in several big states on Tuesday, including Florida. Their respective delegate leads make Clinton and Trump the leaders for their respective nominations.

Clinton on Tuesday night criticized the billionaire on waterboarding and panning his potential to represent the U.S. on the international stage.

"Our commander in chief has to be able to defend our country, not embarrass it," Clinton said, knocking Trump's plans for "rounding up 12 million immigrants, banning all Muslims" from the U.S. and embracing "torture."

"I think she's an embarrassment to our country," Trump shot back during a phone interview Wednesday morning on CNN. "She's under federal investigation. She doesn't have the strength or the stamina to be president."

Hillary Clinton Emails Reveal More Shameless Cronyism
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/16/2016

When it comes to raking in questionable dough via the abuse of political power, the Clintons are in a league all to themselves. In fact, their shamelessness is so rampant and sloppy, the only explanation is they simply thought no one would ever dare hold them to account.

Here’s the latest example, from Raw Story:

Student loan debt continues to be one of the largest economic issues plaguing the U.S., with the total amount topping $1.3 trillion. Hillary Clinton’s higher education policy touts debt-free degrees for underprivileged students. But is she being genuine in her efforts to address the issue?

While Hillary loves to rail against shady for-profit colleges on the campaign trail, she does have some financial ties to them that are likely to shape whether or not she holds them accountable for ripping students off.

It was recently revealed through Hillary’s emails that during her first year as Secretary of State she insisted that Laureate Education be included in the guest list for an education policy dinner hosted at the U.S. Department of State.

“It’s a for-profit model that should be represented,” she wrote in the August 2009 email, and as a result, a senior vice president at Laureate was added to the guest list. Several months later, former President Bill Clinton became an honorary chancellor of Laureate International Universities, which turned out to be incredibly lucrative. He was paid a cool $16.5 million between 2010 and 2014 for his role with the for-profit college.

Also consider that while 12 percent of the country’s students go to for-profits, a whopping 96 percent of them have to take out federal loans. As a result, for-profit colleges account for 25 percent of all federal financial aid dollars and half of all Department of Defense Tuition Assistance funds.

After all, without the sucker U.S. taxpayer, how would rent-seeking politicians get paid?

Some may argue that not all for-profit colleges are created equal, and it’s unfair to group Laureate together with the now defunct Corinthian Colleges, which was forced to cease all U.S. operations due to various state and federal investigations. But Laureate seems to be plagued with similar issues. That’s why the company decided to expand in Latin American countries rather than the U.S. with the help of Bill Clinton.

There are five schools in the U.S. that operate under Laureate’s umbrella. Walden University is a Laureate school in Minneapolis, and even though its parent company had the money to pay our former president $4 million a year, Walden charges students nearly $60,000 in tuition and fees for most undergraduate degrees.

Laureate gets 84 percent of its revenue from outside the U.S., and mostly from Latin American countries. The company faced a great deal backlash in Chile and Brazil, leading to the loss of accreditation for one of its Chilean schools in 2014.

Hillary’s biggest challenge against Bernie Sanders is how much money in politics has influenced her policy decisions. While both candidates address combating student loan debt and college affordability in very different ways, it’s critical to follow the money and figure out who is being sincere about solving the problem.

The truth is that Hillary’s higher ed policy isn’t very different from what we have in place now, which I will delve into in my upcoming column.  Now her ties to the for-profit college industry make me question whether she’ll hold them accountable if she got elected.

Clinton herself was paid $225,000 for speaking at a 2014 event sponsored by Academic Partnerships, a for-profit education company that helps public and private not-for-profit universities move degree programs online. Jeb Bush was also one of its investors.

Let me guess, she did it because of 9/11, or because “it’s what they offered.” The only federal building this woman is fit to occupy is a penitentiary.

This Is the Only Reason That Clinton Is Not in Prison
    by Dave Hodges
    Wednesday, March 16, 2016 12:59

I have documented, nine times Sunday, that Hillary Clinton is guilty of the following transgressions:

    1. Whitewater Scandal with a trail of bodies.

    2. Voter fraud in Arkansas

    3. Trail of bodies in Arkansas

    4.  Vince Foster’s suspicious death

    5. Fast and Furious.

    6. Benghazi

    7. Email Scandal

    8. Selling uranium to the Russians which could be used in maknig nuclear weapons.

Amazingly, this criminal is running for President. Why isn’t she being prosecuted?.

The elite will do anything to make Clinton the President. She will start WW III and will collapse the economy and usher in a nightmarish future.

In short, Lynch is a criminal and she is keeping another criminal out of prison.

    Attorney General Loretta Lynch

Lynch is clearly working for the other side.

In the aftermath of the San Bernardino, ISIS-inspired mass murder of 14 Americans, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, took it upon herself to violate the First Amendment of the Constitution based solely on her own authority, when she announced that her office was going to prosecute any journalist who dared to say anything critical of Muslim inspired terrorism.

Of particular interest to Lynch is her intention to prosecute journalists who dare to criticize the Refugee/Resettlement program of the Obama administration being carried out on behalf of the United Nations in which Muslims (no Christians) are admitted to the U.S. without being screened for threats to national security.

It was during this same time frame, that Doug Hagmann had a clandestine meeting with a Depart of Justice official who informed Doug that Lynch has created an entire DoJ division of over two dozen employees which is headed by an U.S. Attorney.

In short, Loretta Lynch has declared war on anybody who is critical of Obama’s immigration policies. Subsequently, I have decided to turn the table and investigate the current Attorney General. The revelations are stunning and very disturbing and point to the undeniable fact that Loretta Lynch is not fit to hold any governmental position in which there is an expectation that the U.S. Constitution is going to be upheld. Here are the results of my very cursory investigation.

Attorney General Lynch Belonged to Jew-Hating, Pro-Terrorist Harvard Group While Attending Law School
Belonged to a Harvard group that supported terrorism anti-semitic views.

Belonged to a Harvard group that supported terrorism and anti-semitic views from a known terror group.

Lynch’s expressed desire to act against those who purposely endanger Muslims is an expected part of her role as the Attorney General of the United States. However, he expressed intent and the carrying out of this intent by persecuting journalists for daring to disagree with the administration’s immigration policies is completely unconstitutional.

While attending Harvard Law School, Lynch advocated and helped to organize the presence of PLO terrorists to come to Harvard University. Her group would not allow Jewish students to challenge the views of the PLO. The PLO is a known terror group. At that time, in 1984, the PLO was actively advocating for acts of terrorism against Jews and they further supported efforts to destroy Israel. The would-be Attorney General supported Jew-hating terrorists. However, she has an issue with journalists criticizing the act of bringing in unscreened Muslim immigrants who come from a part of the world that is decidedly anti-American.

Loretta Lynch Is a Race-Baiting Criminal
Loretta Lynch was a charter member of an all-black Harvard sorority, the Xi Tau Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority
along with Eric Holder’s wife, Sharon Denise Malone. White females were not allowed to apply for admission.

Lynch’s association with the Holder family is very concerning to say the least. Former Attorney General, Eric Holder, left the position in a cloud of controversy as he was found in contempt of Congress, for his refusal to tell Congress what he knew about the illegal gun sales to Mexican drug cartel members which led directly to the murder of Border Patrol agent, Brian Terry in what became known as Fast and Furious. Loretta Lynch is of the same ilk as Eric Holder.

Who could forget the Black Panthers with billy clubs, along with their silly paramilitary outfits as they blatantly confronted voters at a voting station?  Holder was shown video, proof, and took no action.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch has inherited this open investigation and has done nothing with it. This is a case of selective law enforcement coming from the Attorney General’s office and it clearly smacks of racism because the victims were white. Just imagine if the tables were turned. How quickly would Lynch have responded then? As a white person, am I naive to expect the Attorney General, regardless of race of gender, to defend American citizens against such actions?

Loretta Lynch sworn in as Attorney General, as she swore before Almighty God, to protect and defend the Constitution.

Why isn't Lynch holding Clinton accountable?

Why isn’t Lynch holding Clinton accountable? Simple, she is going to be the President and lead us down the final path of destruction.

    Conclusion

Clinton must be kept free to do what she does best and rhat is why she not in prison and she must fulfill her destiny to destroy the United States.

National security establishment angry over Clinton attitude regarding emails

Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is facing an “uprising” in the national security establishment prompted by long-standing anger about her cavalier handling of classified materials and government secrets. As Clinton’s case progresses, it appears the probe is being directed by intelligence and national security law enforcement authorities rather than civilian agencies subject to political influence, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation.

There are currently at least four national security investigations, including those by the FBI, Department of Justice, and the inspectors general for the Department of State and the Intelligence Community.

“The way I’m reading this is that there’s this uprising in the national security bureaucracies to prosecute Mrs. Clinton,” Tom Fitton told TheDCNF. Fitton is president of the nonprofit government watchdog Judicial Watch, which is preparing to depose top Clinton aides and possibly her as well, in litigation stemming from the State Department’s maladroit handling of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

Fitton’s group has also won multiple federal court victories regarding release of 55,000 pages of emails sent to and from Clinton’s use of a private email address and server located in her New York home to conduct official government business during her four years as the nation’s chief diplomat.

“There’s just this kind of ‘just-the-facts approach’ out of the national security establishment on this,” Fitton told TheDCNF. “I don’t see Mrs. Clinton escaping prosecution here.”

Ultimately, the national security division (NSD) at the Justice Department will decide whether or not to recommend to Attorney General Loretta Lynch Clinton or any of her aides be indicted.

Virtually all former Justice Department and U.S. Attorneys interviewed by TheDCNF described the division, which was created by President George W. Bush in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, as the least politicized division in the department. Charges of partisan management of other Justice Department divisions have been frequently lodged during President Barack Obama’s tenure in the Oval Office.

The little-known division is made up of prosecutors who have backgrounds in military affairs, intelligence, anti-terrorism and espionage. There are no political appointees among the 400 employees working in the division.

“They are straight arrows, a mission-focused kind of approach,” according to Kenneth Wainstein. He was the assistant attorney general who established the division in 2006.

“They focus on the mission. They focus on how those agents achieve that mission, whether it’s stopping terrorism or stopping spies. When they walk into their office, they park their politics at the door,” Wainstein told TheDCNF.

“None of the prosecutors in the National Security Division are going to approach this with a political perspective,” said another former senior Justice Department official from the Bush junior years. “They certainly are not going to be worried about it in terms of partisan politics,” he told TheDCNF. The official only would talk on the condition of anonymity.

National Security division prosecutors do things “by the book,” said Luke Dembosky, who left the division earlier this month after a year-and-a-half as deputy assistant attorney general for the NSD. “They have the utmost integrity, from the top of the division to the bottom.”

Dembosky joined as partner in the Washington law firm Debevoise & Plimpton LLP as a litigation partner in cybersecurity and data privacy issues after leaving the Justice Department.

The anger toward Clinton within the intelligence community apparently has been simmering for years.

In 2009, for example, the National Security Agency (NSA) rebuffed Clinton’s request to use an unsecured BlackBerry for her emails while she was in “Mahogany Row,” the highly secured offices used by all secretaries of state. The suite is secured as a “Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility,” or SCIF, which allows occupants to receive and review the nation’s most important national security secrets.

Clinton wanted to be allowed to use her BlackBerry while handling sensitive materials in the SCIF, according to emails released Wednesday by Judicial Watch. She also sought for her aides to have the same privilege. The emails were obtained via the FOIA.
In a Feb. 8, 2009, email, Donald Reid, Clinton’s senior coordinator for security infrastructure in the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security, dourly reported Clinton and Cheryl Mills, her chief of staff, were “dedicated BB (Blackberry) addicts.” He also said Clinton didn’t use her official government desktop computer because she was “hooked” on BlackBerrys during her 2008 presidential campaign.

The NSA’s response in an Information Assurance Directive told Clinton to “shut up,” according to the emails. Clinton and her aides were subsequently forbidden from using their BlackBerrys in the SCIF office.

The intensity of anger among intelligence community figures became clear when Gen. Michael T. Flynn, former defense intelligence agency director under Obama, told TheDCNF in a Feb. 2 interview that “someone who does this is completely irresponsible, but totally unaccountable and shows a streak of arrogance to the American public that is unworthy of anyone thinking they can run for President of the United States.”

“This is unbelievable,” Flynn added. “I don’t think anybody should be talking about her being potentially the next President of the United States.”

The Gloves Are Off: Trump Accuses Hillary Of Being "Involved In Corruption For Most Of Her Professional Life"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 03/17/2016

    It's popcorn time.

Barely 24 hours after Trump launched his first Hillary attack ad in which he showed a laughing Putin respond to a barking Hillary, and shortly after Hillary's SuperPAC responded in kind with an ad of its own in which it used a Trump quote to mock him, the gloves are officially off, and now that both presidential candidates - both convinced they will face off against each other - are beyond the foreplay stage, the gloves have come off and the direct attacks are escalating rapidly.

So rapidly, in fact, that one may say Trump is risking a potential lawsuit with the following accusation (which, however, should not be too difficult to prove should one of Hillary's SuperPACs sue him for libel).

This is what Trump tweeted moments ago.

Hillary Clinton has been involved in corruption for most of her professional life!

This is more than your typical political ad hominem - this is a material allegation with legal implications that goes to the core of Hillary's biggest weakness, her trustworthiness or complete lack thereof, and Trump's charges will only escalate from here on out, hopefully with actual examples. We look forward to Hillary's response.

One thing is certain: for the next six months, America will be entertained.

    Hillary Has an NSA Problem
The FBI has been investigating Clinton for months—but an even more secretive Federal agency has its own important beef with her
    By John R. Schindler • 03/18/16

Democratic presidential candidate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton speaks during her primary night gathering on March 15, 2016 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Hillary Clinton defeated rival U.S. Sen Bernie Sanders in the Florida, Ohio and North Carolina primaries.

For a year now, Hillary Clinton’s misuse of email during her tenure as Secretary of State has hung like a dark cloud over her presidential campaign. As I told you months ago, EmailGate isn’t going away, despite the best efforts of Team Clinton to make it disappear. Instead, the scandal has gotten worse, with never-ending revelations of apparent misconduct by Ms. Clinton and her staff. At this point, EmailGate may be the only thing standing between Hillary and the White House this November.

Specifically, the Federal Bureau of Investigation examination of EmailGate, pursuant to provisions of the Espionage Act, poses a major threat to Ms. Clinton’s presidential aspirations. However, even if the FBI recommends prosecution of her or members of her inner circle for mishandling of classified information—which is something the politically unconnected routinely do face prosecution for—it’s by no means certain that the Department of Justice will follow the FBI’s lead.

What DoJ decides to do with EmailGate is ultimately a question of politics as much as justice. Ms. Clinton’s recent statement on her potential prosecution, “it’s not going to happen,” then refusing to address the question at all in a recent debate, led to speculation about a backroom deal with the White House to shield Hillary from prosecution as long as Mr. Obama is in the Oval Office. After mid-January, however, all bets would be off. In that case, winning the White House herself could be an urgent matter of avoiding prosecution for Ms. Clinton.

That said, if DoJ declines to prosecute after the Bureau recommends doing so, a leak-fest of a kind not seen in Washington, D.C., since Watergate should be anticipated. The FBI would be angry that its exhaustive investigation was thwarted by dirty deals between Democrats. In that case, a great deal of Clintonian dirty laundry could wind up in the hands of the press, habitual mainstream media covering for the Clintons not-with-standing, perhaps having a major impact on the presidential race this year.

Neither is the FBI the only powerful Federal agency that Hillary Clinton needs to worry about as she plots her path to the White House between scandals and leaks. For years, she has been on the bad side of the National Security Agency, America’s most important intelligence agency, as revealed by just-released State Department documents obtained by Judicial Watch under the Freedom of Information Act.

‘What did she not want put on a government system, where security people might see it? I sure wish I’d asked about it back in 2009.’

The documents, though redacted, detail a bureaucratic showdown between Ms. Clinton and NSA at the outset of her tenure at Foggy Bottom. The new Secretary of State, who had gotten “hooked” on her Blackberry during her failed 2008 presidential bid, according to a top State Department security official, wanted to use that Blackberry anywhere she went.

Will Hillary get charged, or what?
    By Charles Gasparino March 20, 2016 | 8:00pm
Modal Trigger Will Hillary get charged, or what?

FBI chief James Comey and his investigators are increasingly certain that presidential nominee Hillary Clinton violated laws in handling classified government information through her private email server, career agents say.

Some expect him to push for charges, but he faces a formidable obstacle: the political types in the Obama White House who view a Clinton presidency as a third Obama term.

With that, agents have been spreading the word, largely through associates in the private sector, that their boss is getting stonewalled, despite uncovering compelling evidence that Clinton broke the law.

Exactly what that evidence is — and how and when it was uncovered during Comey’s months-long inquiry — has not been disclosed. For the record, the FBI had no comment on the matter, and government sources say no final decision has been made.

Clinton denies she did anything wrong, claiming she had no idea she was getting classified information (a violation of federal law) on her private server during her years as Obama’s secretary of state because the documents she received contained no such headings.

And as FBI director, Comey can only recommend charges to the hacks in the Obama Justice Department. Indeed, many law enforcement officials who know the FBI chief and the bureau’s inner workings believe the evidence would have to be overwhelming for Comey to even recommend charges, much less for DOJ to pursue them.

Still, some FBI staffers suggest the probe’s at a point where Comey might quit in protest if Justice ignores a recommendation to pursue a criminal case against Clinton.

Just how close Comey is to any recommendation — whether to indict or exonerate Clinton — is difficult to know. But agents believe the probe is nearing an end. A State Department staffer who set up Clinton’s email server, for instance, was recently granted immunity from prosecution to provide Comey’s team with evidence.

“You don’t start granting people close to Clinton immunity unless you are seriously looking at charges against your target,” one former official told me.

I’m also told Comey and his team increasingly doubt Clinton’s story. Most officials know private email servers are easier to hack into than secure government servers. They also know that even documents not labeled “classified” may be top secret.

That’s why they’re supposed to be sent only through government accounts. Those who don’t follow those rules, like former CIA Director David Petraeus, have faced consequences.

Another matter for Comey & Co.: whether Clinton comingled her official State Department business with her role at the Clinton Foundation, and whether she wiped clean messages that show her using her office at State for foundation work.

Law enforcement sources also say Comey’s record as a prosecutor shows he has zero tolerance for such abuses.

As US attorney for the Southern District after the Nasdaq stock market crashed, Comey led an obstruction investigation that targeted Internet banker Frank Quattrone. That probe focused on a single (and some would say non-dispositive) sentence from a single email he appeared to approve, “Let’s clean up those files.”

Quattrone was convicted and faced several years in jail, though a successful appeal and deferred prosecution agreement with the government put the matter to rest.

Comey’s prosecution of domestic diva Martha Stewart followed a similar pattern. Stewart sold shares of a company owned by one of her friends just before a corporate announcement sent the stock into a tailspin.

But she did not go to jail for what the feds began investigating: insider trading. Instead, Comey & Co. had to settle on obstruction-of-justice charges based on allegedly misleading information Stewart gave about her trade. Even this was no slam dunk: At trial, witnesses contradicted each other. At least one of the charges in the case was dropped. (One prosecution witness later faced perjury charges over his testimony but was eventually acquitted.)

Yet in the end, Comey prevailed. Stewart was convicted and sentenced to several months in prison.

Yes, there are key differences with these cases, the biggest being political: Comey had the backing of his boss, then-President George W. Bush, to address alleged Wall Street improprieties.

FBI sources say he has no backing from President Obama and Attorney General Loretta Lynch to recommend charges against the former secretary, since a Clinton presidency may be the best chance to preserve the Obama legacy.

EXPERTS SEE LITTLE CHANCE OF CHARGES IN CLINTON EMAIL CASE
BY ERIC TUCKER AND MICHAEL BIESECKER
    ASSOCIATED PRESS

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Asked earlier this month whether she'd be indicted over her use of a private email server as secretary of state, Hillary Clinton responded, "It's not going to happen."

Though Republicans characterized her response as hubris, several legal experts interviewed by The Associated Press agreed with the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination.

The relatively few laws that govern the handling of classified materials were generally written to cover spies, leakers and those who illegally retain such information, such as at home. Though the view is not unanimous, several lawyers who specialize in this area said it's a stretch to apply existing statutes to a former cabinet secretary whose communication of sensitive materials was with aides - not a national enemy.

During her tenure as the nation's top diplomat between 2009 and 2013, Clinton's work emails were routed through a private computer server located in the basement of her New York home. The State Department now concedes that a small percentage of those messages contained sensitive national security information, including some later determined to be top secret.

Computer security experts say the arrangement could have left the messages vulnerable to hackers, including those working for foreign intelligence agencies. Clinton has called her decision to rely on the home server a "mistake," but has also repeatedly asserted that none of the messages was marked as classified when she sent or received them.

The FBI has for months been investigating whether the sensitive information that flowed through Clinton's email server was mishandled. The inspector general at the State Department has also been reviewing the issue. Regardless of the outcomes, there's no question the probes have created a major distraction as Clinton campaigns for her party's nomination.

One potentially relevant statute carrying up to a year in prison makes it a crime to knowingly remove classified information and retain it at an unauthorized location. Former CIA Director David Petraeus pleaded guilty to that misdemeanor offense last year after providing eight black binders of classified information to his biographer. He was sentenced to two years' probation as part of a plea deal, and prosecutors made clear in that case that Petraeus knew he was turning over highly classified information.

With Clinton, though, "I look at something which requires knowledge, and the first question I've got to ask is, 'How do they prove knowledge?'" said Bill Jeffress, a Washington criminal defense lawyer.

While knowledge that information is classified is a critical component, it can likely still be established even in the absence of classification markings on the emails in question, said Nathan Sales, a Syracuse University law professor who used to work at the departments of Justice and Homeland Security and who thinks that the investigation raises important legal issues.

"Sometimes information is so obviously sensitive that you can infer knowledge from the content," in which case the lack of markings may not matter for the purpose of establishing liability, Sales said.

A separate law makes it a felony to handle national defense information with "gross negligence," by causing it to be removed from its proper place of custody or to be lost, stolen or destroyed. But that statute is part of the Espionage Act, a law used against former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden that's generally intended for people the government believes intended to harm U.S. national interests. Proving gross negligence requires showing an act was more than just a mistake.

"One has to put this in perspective of what types of prosecutions have happened under the Espionage Act," said Jon Michaels, a national security law professor at UCLA. "And the universe of prosecutions under the Espionage Act is quite small compared to the amount of information transferred through non-secure means."

Brad Moss, a Washington lawyer who deals regularly with security clearance matters, said the Justice Department could conceivably look to bring charges in the Clinton email case but prosecutors would have to decide if they "really want to take that gamble." Inquiries into mishandling of classified information generally end with a security clearance revocation rather than a criminal charge, he said.

But Ronald Sievert, a former federal prosecutor and University of Texas adjunct law professor, said an argument could be made that Clinton's creation of a private email server amounted to gross negligence.

"It's a jury issue," Sievert said.

Each prosecution of classified information cases has turned on different facts, making it hard to reliably predict outcomes, and the disparate punishments have frustrated efforts to draw meaningful parallels.

Petraeus got probation for knowingly mishandling classified information while a former State Department intelligence analyst, Stephen Kim, was sentenced in 2014 to more than a year in prison for disclosing classified materials to a reporter. Kim's lawyer, Abbe Lowell, urged for Kim's release in light of what he said was a "profound double standard."

The Clinton case indicates a "dysfunctional" system of overclassification, Lowell told the AP.

"One of the perpetual problems with the investigation or prosecution of so-called leaks cases about classified information is that the law doesn't recognize as a defense that the material should not have been classified in the first place," he said.

Regardless of the legal question, if Clinton secures the Democratic presidential nomination she's certain to be dogged by the issue through the November election.

"Ultimately, the real risk for the secretary might not be legal as much as it is political," Sales said.

Judicial Watch: New Clinton Documents Raise Questions on Benghazi, Clinton Foundation
    MARCH 22, 2016
Two days after Benghazi attack, Libyan president sought meeting with Bill Clinton through Clinton Foundation event

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released 276 pages of internal State Department documents revealing that within two days of the deadly terrorist attack on Benghazi, Mohamed Yusuf al-Magariaf, the president of Libya’s National Congress, asked to participate in a Clinton Global Initiative function and “meet President Clinton.” The meeting between the Libyan president and Bill Clinton had not previously been disclosed. The documents also show Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s staff coordinated with the Clinton Foundation’s staff to have her thank Clinton Global Initiative project sponsors for their “commitments” during a Foundation speech on September 25, 2009.

The Judicial Watch documents were obtained as a result of a federal court order in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed against the State Department on May 28, 2013, (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:13-cv-00772)).

In September 13, 2012, al-Magariaf advisor Dr. Fathi Nuah wrote to the Clinton Foundation’s Director of Foreign Policy Amitabh Desai: “Dr. Almagariaf will be addressing the United Nations this September in New York as the Libyan Head of State, and he expressed a wish to meet President Clinton and to participate at the Clinton Global Initiative meeting for New York as well.”

Four hours later, Desai emailed Hillary Clinton’s Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills asking, “Would USG [U.S. Government] have concerns about Libyan President being invited to CGI [Clinton Global Initiative]? Odd timing, I know.” Mills emailed back: “We would not have issues.”

Four days later, on September 17, Desai emailed Mills again, saying, The Libyan president is “asking for a meeting with WJC [William Jefferson Clinton] next week.” Desai asked, “Would you recommend accepting or declining the WJC meeting request?”

The State Department apparently had no objection to the meeting, because on September 26, Desai emailed Mills, “He had a v good meeting with Libya …” Hillary Clinton and al-Magariaf did not have a meeting until September 24.

An August 2009 email chain including Hillary Clinton’s then- Chief of Staff Huma Abedin, Mills, then-Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Jake Sullivan shows that the State Department coordinated with Clinton Foundation staff on how Mrs. Clinton to thank Foundation supporters/partners for their “commitments.” Mills asks Desai for a “list of commitments during whole session so she can reference more than those just around her speech.”

Caitlin Klevorick, Senior Advisor to the Counselor and Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State who previously worked at the Foundation, notes: “one question is if we want to see if there is a decent mass of fs [funds] related commitments to announce together at closing as a ‘mega’ commitment.”

The State Department material includes background information made by Clinton Foundation partners, which include Foundation donors Nduna Foundation, Grupo ABCA, and Britannia Industries. Other CGI partners noted in the State Department documents include a federal agency (the Centers for Disease Control) and various United Nations entities, which also receive U.S. taxpayer funds.

The transcript of Hillary Clinton’s speech on the State Department Internet site confirms that then-Secretary of State did thank those making “exceptional commitments” to her husband’s foundation:

And so I congratulate all who helped to put on this (inaudible) CGI [Clinton Global Initiative]. I especially thank you for having a separate track on girls and women, which I think was well received for all the obvious reasons. (Applause.) And this is an exceptional gathering of people who have made exceptional commitments to bettering our world.

The documents also point to a chain of emails that show Haim Saban, a top Clinton donor, sought to entice Bill Clinton into to travelling to Damascus in 2009 to meet with a high-level Syrian delegation. The meetings were part of the Saban Forum. Evidently, the trip never took place.

As previously reported, a June 2012 email chain discusses a “firm invitation for President Clinton” to speak at a Congo conference, hosted in part by the controversial Joseph Kabila. Bill Clinton is offered $650,000 in fees and expenses, concerning which, as Desai emails Mills and others, “WJC wants to know that state [sic] thinks of it if he took it 100% for the foundation.”

This lawsuit had previously forced the disclosure of documents that provided a road map for over 200 conflict-of-interest rulings that led to at least $48 million in speaking fees for the Clintons during Hillary Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State. Previously disclosed documents in this lawsuit, for example, raise questions about funds Clinton accepted from entities linked to Saudi Arabia, China and Iran, among others.

Judicial Watch’s litigation to obtain these conflict of interest records is ongoing. The State Department has also yet to explain why it failed to conduct a proper, timely search in the 20 months between when it received Judicial Watch’s request on May 2, 2011, and the February 1, 2013, date Secretary Clinton left office.

“These new State Department documents show Hillary Clinton and her State aides were involved in fundraising for the Clinton Foundation. It is also incredible that the Libyan president would call and meet Bill Clinton through the Clinton Foundation before meeting Hillary Clinton about Benghazi,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Secretary of State Hillary Clinton worked hand in glove with the Clinton Foundation on fundraising and foreign policy. Despite the law and her promises to the contrary, Hillary Clinton turned the State Department into the DC office of the Clinton Foundation.”

Judicial Watch’s FOIA lawsuit has become particularly noteworthy because it has been reported that the Clinton Foundation, now known as the Bill, Hillary, & Chelsea Clinton Foundation, accepted millions of dollars from at least seven foreign governments while Mrs. Clinton served as Secretary of State. The Clinton Foundation has acknowledged that a $500,000 donation it received from the government of Algeria while Mrs. Clinton served as Secretary of State violated a 2008 ethics agreement between the foundation and the Obama administration. Some of the foreign governments that have made donations to the Clinton Foundation include Algeria, Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman, have questionable human rights records.

Conservative Group Says Benghazi Committee 'Bungled' Investigation...

'It's been a secretive, bungled investigation': Conservative group goes after Benghazi panel
The House Select Committee on Benghazi has "bungled" its investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the deaths of four Americans in 2012, said Tom Fitton, the head of conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch.

"They have this almost petty approach to transparency that is at odds with the public interest," Fitton told the Washington Post in an interview published Thursday. "It's not supposed to be a grand-jury style investigation that the public can't be privy to. There's got to be at least some public forum for gathering testimony and evidence and that hasn't happened here to any significant degree."

"It's been a secretive, bungled investigation," Fitton added. "The obstruction of the administration has to be taken into account, but it hasn't been handled as it should have been."

Lost emails from Clinton server discovered
The previously undisclosed February 2009 emails between Clinton from her then-chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, raise new questions about the scope of emails from Clinton’s early days in office that were not handed over to the State Department for recordkeeping and may have been lost entirely.

Clinton’s presidential campaign has previously claimed that the former top diplomat did not use her personal "clintonemail.com" account before March 2009, weeks after she was sworn in as secretary of State.
But on Thursday, the watchdog group Judicial Watch released one message from Feb. 13, 2009, in which Mills communicated with Clinton on the account to discuss the National Security Agency’s (NSA) efforts to produce a secure BlackBerry device for her to use as secretary of State.

The discovery is likely to renew questions about Clinton’s narrative about her use of the private email server, which has come under scrutiny.

Last year, news organizations reported that Obama administration officials had discovered an email chain between Clinton and retired Gen. David Petraeus that began before Clinton entered office and continued through to Feb. 1. The chain of emails began on an earlier email system that Clinton used while serving in the Senate, but was reportedly transferred on to the clintonemail.com server.

In 2014, Clinton gave the State Department roughly 30,000 emails from her time in office that she said related to her work as the nation’s top diplomat. Another roughly 30,000 emails, which Clinton said contained personal information such as her daughter’s wedding plans and yoga routines, were deleted.

    Rolling Eyes
So what happened to the announcement? Obama lacked the courage.
As a result of this colossal failure,  having to disband the Jade Helm structure, the US military reacted. Obama is no longer running the country. Chief of Staff General Dunford is. Ben Fulford has for months been referring to Obama as the US “spokesperson” and on March 14, 2016 mentioned a “secret Grand Jury” empaneled by the military. Insider Ed Kline had inferred that the indictment of Hillary may result not from the DOJ but from a judge that the FBI has been working with. The DOD is repeatedly mentioned. Now there are various Internet rumors that Dunford is in charge.

Is this true, and how does this work? In that the Middle East, under the direction and press from Israel, Turkey, the Jewish bankers of the Federal Reserve, and the Saudis were supporting ISIS and this threatened to create a force that would not only invade Europe but also create an endless terrorism threat to the US, the military did indeed effect a silent coup. Russia needed to enter the fray, and Dunford, but not Obama, agreed. This will never be admitted, publicly, nor do the parties want this. So what of the indictment of Hillary? In that the military is in charge, the Grand Jury has been empaneled there, something we confirmed on March 19, 2016.

General Dunford is using the DOD prosecution at present using national security threats as the rationale. For lack of a better term to use with civilians, Hillary is being court martialed, for her time as Secretary of State which is an official position equivalent to a military officer, and as he, General Dunford, is now in charge, all federal positions can be seen as nilitary positions. Thus, her indictment is legal, but the public would be confused. Dunford will order the DOJ to prosecute, while in the meantime all Grand Jury activity is proceeding without delay.
