Clinton Sought Pentagon, State Department Contracts for Chelsea’s Friend
Pentagon think tank paid millions for reports on ‘warlike Americans,’ future Japan nuclear forces
    October 6, 2016 5:00 am

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sought to arrange Pentagon and State Department consulting contracts for her daughter’s friend, prompting concerns of federal ethics rules violations.

Clinton in 2009 arranged meetings between Jacqueline Newmyer Deal, a friend of Chelsea Clinton and head of the defense consulting group Long Term Strategy Group, with Pentagon officials that involved contracting discussions, according to emails from Clinton’s private server made public recently by the State Department. Clinton also tried to help Deal win a contract for consulting work with the State Department’s director of policy planning, according to the emails.

Deal is a close friend of Chelsea Clinton, who is vice chair of the Clinton Foundation. Emails between the two were included among the thousands recovered from a private email server used by the secretary of state between 2009 and 2013. Chelsea Clinton has described Deal as her best friend. Both Clintons attended Deal’s 2011 wedding.

Government cronyism, or the use of senior positions to help family friends, is not illegal. However, the practice appears to violate federal ethics rules that prohibit partiality, or creating the appearance of conflicts of interest.

Specifically, the Code of Federal Ethics states that government employees “shall act impartially and not give preferential treatment to any private organization or individual.” Pentagon ethics guidelines also call for avoiding actions that would create even the appearance of improper behavior or conflicts of interest.

The Clinton email exchanges with Deal between 2009 and 2011 were among tens of thousands of private emails made public by the State Department under pressure from Congress and the public interest law firm Judicial Watch.

An FBI investigation concluded in July that Clinton and her aides discussed highly classified information on an unsecure private email server while secretary of state. Investigators also concluded that foreign hostile actors likely hacked the emails. The Justice Department declined to prosecute Clinton based on advice from FBI Director James Comey, who argued that no reasonable prosecutor would try the case.

According to one 2009 email, Clinton said she recommended Deal to Michele Flournoy, the newly installed undersecretary of defense for policy, who was seeking young women to mentor.

Deal, a specialist in China affairs who worked at the White House as a press aide for First Lady Clinton in the 1990s, wrote back to Clinton saying she would meet Flournoy on May 5, 2009, and stated “thank you very much for making this happen.”

Later that month, Deal thanked Clinton for “all your encouragement and help with DoD, ” shorthand for the Defense Department.

“I met with Michele’s other deputy yesterday, and we had a productive discussion about Iran and developments in maritime Asia,” Deal stated. “We also discussed contract vehicles and mapped out what we need to do so that we can go to work! I am very grateful for everything you have done.”

The emails indicate Deal was seeking to advance her company’s contracts with two powerful policy-making offices, the Defense Department’s main policymaking shop and the State Department policy planning office. Both offices are key players in developing U.S. defense and foreign policy.

The Long Term Strategy Group, set up in 2007 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and now based in Washington, D.C., has been producing reports and holding workshops for the Pentagon’s Office of Net Assessment for years.

A series of Clinton emails beginning on May 21, 2009 reveal that the State Department’s director of policy planning, Anne-Marie Slaughter, turned down a proposal from Deal for a contract with the Long Term Strategy Group to do work for her office. No reason was given.

“Happily, Michele Flournoy’s office is reaching out and has asked me to participate in a wargame next week for the [Quadrennial Defense Review], which I hope will build the foundation for a contract between her office and LTSG,” Deal stated in the email. “I am extremely grateful to you for helping me find opportunities to serve our government,” she added.

Chelsea Clinton also forwarded an email from Deal to Hillary Clinton in December 2011 that included a link to a Huffington Post article by Deal and signed “xoxoxoxoxoxo j”

Deal, in a statement, said that none of the awards LTSG received from the Pentagon “resulted directly or indirectly from the actions or influence of Secretary Clinton.”

She added: “Jacqueline Deal and the Long Term Strategy Group (LTSG) are justifiably proud of their collaboration with the US Department of Defense across multiple administrations over the last two decades, beginning under the administration of President George W. Bush. LTSG’s work has consistently earned the highest respect and confidence of its clientele in government and has won LTSG a reputation for producing research and analysis of exceptional quality.”

Clinton campaign spokesmen did not return emails seeking comment.

Slaughter, through a spokesman, said she had no recollection of contacts with Deal.

Flournoy also said she did not remember discussions with Deal, but stated through a spokesman that in her government career she met with hundreds of young women seeking to advance their careers in the national security field.

“I have and will continue to work with young men and women, including those recommended to me by people whose opinion and judgment I respect, such as Secretary Clinton,” she said.

“Whether any of the people I have met with went on to win contracts with the Office of Net Assessment or other Department of Defense entities was outside my purview as undersecretary of defense for policy,” Flournoy said.

Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook declined to comment on the emails.

The Office of Net Assessment defended contract work done by Deal and the Long Term Strategy Group since 2007, and said the group has not worked for the undersecretary of defense for policy, nor has that office been involved in the contract award process for ONA contracts.

Long Term Strategy Group “competes for proposed work in the same fashion as any potential contractor, which requires a rigorous, formalized process, including built-in external review by acquisition professionals within the Department of Defense to ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethics,” ONA said in a statement to the Free Beacon.

The statement said the Office of Net Assessment conducts “robust and innovative research” to support defense leaders.

“LTSG’s work has consistently informed ONA’s internal analysis and they continue to be a responsive vendor,” the statement said. “The firm, however, is just one of 90 sources that ONA has commissioned work from over the past decade.

Good government advocates say the emails indicating Clinton sought to steer contracts to her daughter’s friend are troubling and appear to violate ethics rules.

“By now there is a strong pattern of Hillary Clinton showing bias in the dispensing of government funds and favors to a long list of friends, political supporters, and Clinton Foundation donors,” said Ken Boehm, chairman of the National Legal and Policy Center.

“It looks like she was single-handedly trying to revive the corrupt spoils system,” Boehm added. “As the old saying goes, sometimes things are what they look like.”

Joseph E. Schmitz, a former Pentagon inspector general, said if he were the current IG, “I would definitely want to shed some light on the underlying facts” surrounding Clinton’s intervention on behalf of a family friend.

“When I was serving as the inspector general, I investigated at least one senior official who allegedly had violated the standard for ‘misuse of position’ prescribed in the Joint Ethics Regulation,” said Schmitz, currently a lawyer and adviser to the Donald Trump presidential campaign.

Both federal government and Pentagon ethics regulations state that “an employee shall not use or permit the use of his government position or title or any authority associated with his public office in a manner that is intended to coerce or induce another person, including a subordinate, to provide any benefit, financial or otherwise, to himself or to friends, relatives, or persons with whom the employee is affiliated in a nongovernmental capacity.”

Schmitz also said Pentagon regulations prohibit actions that give “an appearance of use of public office for private gain or of giving preferential treatment.” He noted that the standard is something “any inspector general should be capable of investigating.”

Internal Pentagon documents reveal that the Long Term Strategy Group produced scores of monographs and held numerous workshops under contracts with the Office of Net Assessment from the early 2000s to as recently as July. The office is a small think tank whose director reports directly to Defense Secretary Ash Carter.

The strategy group charged the Pentagon around $60,000 each for unclassified monographs averaging 20 to 40 pages in length and around $40,000 each for workshops with defense officials and think tank experts. Estimates of the total value of contracts for the group are around $6 million since 2009.

One Pentagon document from May 2013 recommended awarding a contract of up to $442,788 to the Long Term Strategy Group over eight other bidders. The contract was for a two-year Office of Net Assessment study on changing demographics and family structures in China.

The strategy group described itself in a contract proposal as a “woman-owned small business” that is “not partisan or policy prescriptive.”

One Pentagon-sponsored report by the Long Term Strategy Group was titled “On the Nature of Americans as a Warlike People,” which argued “the United States will continue to use war as an instrument of state policy.” The conclusion was based on a demographic and cultural analysis that said the United States is governed by many Americans descended from the Scots-Irish, who are belligerent.

Another report done for Net Assessment, “War and the Intellectuals,” stated that educated American elites are anti-war compared to “the rest of America.” The divide between the pacifist intellectuals and uneducated Americans “could be ended if the educated elite again devote themselves to national service in return for a leading position in the conduct of American foreign policy.”

A third contract potentially worth $1.9 million over several years involved U.S.-Japan relations and included meetings with Japanese defense and intelligence officials regarding Japan’s development of strategic nuclear weapons and forces. The contract was controversial because both the U.S. and Japanese government have stated they do not want Japan to develop nuclear arms. Japan currently is under the U.S. nuclear “umbrella.” Japanese officials, however, have said Tokyo’s pacifist constitution does not prohibit nuclear arms.

Other reports and workshops by the Long Term Strategy Group concerned strategies for the Middle East, U.S. extended deterrence to American allies, Egyptian security concerns, Soviet-era radio electronic warfare doctrine, Russian nuclear developments, and Israeli relations with a nuclear-armed Iran.

The Office of Net Assessment has come under fire in recent months from critics in Congress and on the Pentagon’s Joint Staff who say the office is not doing an adequate job of producing major assessments of key threats to the United States.

Net Assessment Director James H. Baker in June opposed a Joint Staff proposal to create a separate net assessment office for the military. Baker explained his opposition by saying that of the “dozens” of military officers who had worked in ONA, “perhaps five could think and could write well enough that they would produce a military balance or net assessment worthy of the Secretary or the Chairman.”

The Office of Net Assessment has an annual budget of around $20 million and in 2013 Republicans in Congress fought off a reform effort that would have closed the office or diminished its independence.

The office was led for 40 years by Andrew Marshall, who had a reputation as a strategic guru dubbed the Pentagon’s “Yoda,” after the fictional Jedi leader in Star Wars. Marshall retired in 2015.

However, over the past year, Baker, the current office leader and a retired Air Force colonel, has functioned more as an absentee landlord, attending conferences around the world while his deputy, Andrew N. May, has run things, according to a defense official.

Last year, Carter ordered a shift in the office’s focus from long-term strategic trends to more contemporary defense analysis.

The shift prompted Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to consider setting up his own office of net assessment within the Joint Staff. According to defense officials, the strategists on the Joint Staff were concerned the civilian office was not doing enough relevant work.

The Clinton emails provide a snapshot of how Clinton sought to help her daughter’s friend navigate the Pentagon. On July 19, 2009, while traveling in India, Clinton wrote to Deal thanking her for an analysis of the Chinese military buildup and asked, “by the way, did the DoD contract work out?”

Two days later, Deal wrote back that “we have discussed with Mr. [Andrew] Marshall the kinds of assessments that need to be done to identify which technologies can be transferred even if there is a risk of their being compromised,” Deal stated.

“On the contract question, we are still working with Mr. Marshall to establish a vehicle that might allow us to do work for Michele,” she stated. “When you next speak with her, if she mentions what she envisions for the start date, that would be very helpful to know!”

Months later, in September 2009, Deal wrote Clinton an email that was redacted because it contained classified information withheld under security rules that prohibit releasing CIA information about agency personnel or sources.

Deal stated in this email that she had completed a workshop with Pentagon officials and outside experts on Iran that concluded that any military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities would be counterproductive.

“Based on patterns of Iranian behavior in the past, there is reason to think that some diplomatic communications may serve to increase Iranian fears about the consequences of its pursuit of a nuclear capability,” Deal stated, in what appears to be support for the White House’s effort to ultimately reach the nuclear deal with Iran.

The last series of emails between Deal and Clinton took place in May 2011. In the email chain, Deal thanked the secretary of state for attending her wedding on April 29—one day before the commando raid in Pakistan that killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

“I was delighted to be there and stayed as long as I could at the reception before having to leave,” Clinton wrote back. “I confess that the Bin Laden op the next day consumed most of my mental space!”

Deal’s political views were on display in one email after Clinton asked her about President Obama’s May 19, 2011 speech on what role the United States should play in the Middle East and North Africa as a result of the Arab Spring uprisings.

Deal replied that the Arab Spring created opportunities, but that there was no U.S. strategy that was “not a clumsy neocon democracy installation effort”—an apparent reference to George W. Bush administration programs to promote democracy in the Middle East.

Deal then suggested creating “an elite branch of the diplomatic corps that has the attributes of the special operations forces community but is optimized for outreach rather than for paramilitary activities.”

Hillary Confirms Saudi Arabia, Qatar Fund ISIS In Leaked Email

Over three years after we first reported that one of the two chief sources of funding and support for the "Islamic State" is the small but wealthy nation of Qatar, and long after we also announced that Saudi Arabia had revealed that it was behind ISIS, in a report that was widely disputed, overnight we finally got definitive evidence that it was indeed Qatar and Saudi Arabia that are the main "logistical and financial" supporters of the Islamic State terrorist organization.

In a leaked email sent on August 17, 2014 by Hillary Clinton to her current campaign manager, John Podesta, who back then was counselor to Barack Obama, she admitted that Qatar and Saudi Arabia "are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and other radical Sunni groups in the region."

The email, which was sent just days after the US launched it "temporary" air campaign in Syria, which has now extended over two years, represents an eight-point plan laying out ideas how to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Clinton’s email said that the United States should engage in "military operations against these very irregular but determined forces" by "making proper use of clandestine/special operations resources, in coordination with airpower, and established local allies" such as Kurdish forces.

Having confirmed the role of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Hillary then states that "we need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia" and recommends to step up US commitment to the Kurdish Regional Government or KRG. "The Qataris and Saudis will be put in a position of balancing policy between their ongoing competition to dominate the Sunni world and the consequences of serious U.S. pressure.  By the same token, the threat of similar, realistic U.S. operations will serve to assist moderate forces in Libya, Lebanon, and even Jordan, where insurgents are increasingly fascinated by the ISIL success in Iraq."

Just as notable was Hillary's warning that ISIS will spread should the US not forecefully engage the terrorist organization to halt its spread: "if we do not take the changes needed to make our security policy in the region more realistic, there is a real danger of ISIL veterans moving on to other countries to facilitate operations by Islamist forces.  This is already happening in Libya and Egypt, where fighters are returning from Syria to work with local forces. ISIL is only the latest and most violent example of this process.  If we don’t act to defeat them in Iraq something even more violent and dangerous will develop.  Successful military operations against these very irregular but determined forces can only be accomplished by making proper use of clandestine/special operations resources, in coordination with airpower, and established local allies. There is, unfortunately, a narrow window of opportunity on this issue, as we need to act before an ISIL state becomes better organized and reaches into Lebanon and Jordan."

Considering that the ISIS state has already reached deep inside Europe, one wonders why the US is more fixated on halting the Russian encroachment, and defense of the Assad government, in Syria than pursuing its stated course.

The revelation comes a day after Reuters reported that the US risks being branded a war criminal for its support of the Saudi war in Yemen, which has led to thousands of innocent civilian casualties, and which is only possible due to US military support and weapons. As a reminder, since March 2015, or when the Saudi conflict in Yemen started, Washington has authorized more than $22.2 billion in weapons sales to Riyadh.

Despite reports that the US is seeking to probe the actions of its mid-east ally, so far there has been no change in US posture and earlier today US officials confirmed there has been no change to US military/logistical support to Saudis after the White HOuse announced an "immediate review."

As a reminder, Qatar has given between $1 million and $5 million to the Clinton Foundation and Saudi Arabia has donated upwards of $25 million dollars to the Foundation.

Hillary's full email - whose parapgraph 5 is oddly missing - is below (link)

    On Aug 17, 2014 3:50 PM, "H" <hrod17@clintonemail.com> wrote:

Note: Sources includeHillary Confirms H Western intelligence, US intelligence and sources in the region.

    1. With all of its tragic aspects, the advance of ISIL through Iraq gives the U.S. Government an opportunity to change the way it deals with the chaotic security situation in North Africa and the Middle East.  The most important factor in this matter is to make use of intelligence resources and Special Operations troops in an aggressive manner, while avoiding the old school solution, which calls for more traditional military operations.  In Iraq it is important that we engage ISIL using the resources of the Peshmerga fighters of the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG), and what, if any, reliable units exist in the Iraqi Army.  The Peshmerga commanders are aggressive hard fighting troops, who have long standing relationships with CIA officers and Special Forces operators.  However, they will need the continued commitment of U.S. personnel to work with them as advisors and strategic planners, the new generation of Peshmerga commanders being largely untested in traditional combat.  That said, with this U.S. aid the Kurdish troops can inflict a real defeat on ISIL.

    2.  It is important that once we engage ISIL, as we have now done in a limited manner, we and our allies should carry on until they are driven back suffering a tangible defeat.  Anything short of this will be seen by other fighters in the region, Libya, Lebanon, and even Jordan, as an American defeat. However, if we provide advisors and planners, as well as increased close air support for the Peshmerga, these soldiers can defeat ISIL.  They will give the new Iraqi Government a chance to organize itself, and restructure the Sunni resistance in Syria, moving the center of power toward moderate forces like the Free Syrian Army (FSA).  In addition to air support, the Peshmerga also need artillery and armored vehicles to deal with the tanks and other heavy equipment captured from the Iraqi army by ISIL.

    3.  In the past the USG, in an agreement with the Turkish General Staff, did not provide such heavy weapons to the Peshmerga, out of a concern that they would end up in the hands of Kurdish rebels inside of Turkey.  The current situation in Iraq, not to mention the political environment in Turkey, makes this policy obsolete.  Also this equipment can now be airlifted directly into the KRG zone.

    4.  Armed with proper equipment, and working with U.S. advisors, the Peshmerga can attack the ISIL with a coordinated assault supported from the air.  This effort will come as a surprise to the ISIL, whose leaders believe we will always stop with targeted bombing, and weaken them both in Iraq and inside of Syria.  At the same time we should return to plans to provide the FSA, or some group of moderate forces, with equipment that will allow them to deal with a weakened ISIL, and stepped up operations against the Syrian regime.  This entire effort should be done with a low profile, avoiding the massive traditional military operations that are at best temporary solutions.  While this military/para-military operation is moving forward, we need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and other radical Sunni groups in the region.  This effort will be enhanced by the stepped up commitment in the KRG.  The Qataris and Saudis will be put in a position of balancing policy between their ongoing competition to dominate the Sunni world and the consequences of serious U.S. pressure.  By the same token, the threat of similar, realistic U.S. operations will serve to assist moderate forces in Libya, Lebanon, and even Jordan, where insurgents are increasingly fascinated by the ISIL success in Iraq.

    6.  In the end the situation in Iraq is merely the latest and most dangerous example of the regional restructuring that is taking place across North Africa, all the way to the Turkish border.  These developments are important to the U.S. for reasons that often differ from country to country: energy and moral commitment to Iraq, energy issues in Libya, and strategic commitments in Jordan.  At the same time, as Turkey moves toward a new, more serious Islamic reality, it will be important for them to realize that we are willing to take serious actions, which can be sustained to protect our national interests.  This course of action offers the potential for success, as opposed to large scale, traditional military campaigns, that are too expensive and awkward to maintain over time.

    7.  (Note: A source in Tripoli stated in confidence that when the U.S. Embassy was evacuated, the presence of two U.S. Navy jet fighters over the city brought all fighting to a halt for several hours, as Islamist forces were not certain that these aircraft would not also provide close ground support for moderate government forces.)

    8.  If we do not take the changes needed to make our security policy in the region more realistic, there is a real danger of ISIL veterans moving on to other countries to facilitate operations by Islamist forces. There is, unfortunately, a narrow window of opportunity on this issue, as we need to act before an ISIL state becomes better organized and reaches into Lebanon and Jordan.

    9. (Note: It is important to keep in mind that as a result of this policy there probably will be concern in the Sunni regions of Iraq and the Central Government regarding the possible expansion of KRG controlled territory.  With advisors in the Peshmerga command we can reassure the concerned parties that, in return for increase autonomy, the KRG will not exclude the Iraqi Government from participation in the management of the oil fields around Kirkuk, and the Mosel Dam hydroelectric facility.  At the same time we will be able to work with the Peshmerga as they pursue ISIL into disputed areas of Eastern Syria, coordinating with FSA troops who can move against ISIL from the North.  This will make certain Basher al Assad does not gain an advantage from these operations.  Finally, as it now appears the U.S. is considering a plan to offer contractors as advisors to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, we will be in a position to coordinate more effectively between the Peshmerga and the Iraqi Army.)

DID PAUL RYAN’S TOP ADVISOR LEAK THE TRUMP TAPE?
GOP establishment plot to sabotage the Donald?

    http://www.infowars.com/did-paul-ryans-top-advisor-leak-the-trump-tape/

That’s the story swirling around the Internet after Senor’s wife, former NBC reporter Campbell Brown, appeared to confirm the claim.
Brown quoted a tweet that said, “Rumblings that Campbell Brown and Dan Senor are behind the Trump tape leak,” and then responded, “Yep. Still having fun after all these years. Key to a happy marriage.”

“I spoke with a reporter tonight who believes the reports are true. It was GOP elites who released the audio to the Washington Post,” adds Jim Hoft.

The explanation correlates with Jerry Falwell Jr.’s claim that he learned of a plot 6 weeks in advance by GOP establishment insiders to sabotage Trump.

Falwell noted that the timing of the release coincided perfectly with Paul Ryan’s event in Wisconsin, giving him an opportunity to disinvite Trump and increase the perception that the Republican nominee’s campaign was on life support.

Ryan was set to campaign alongside Trump for the first time on Saturday before the leak of the tape changed everything.

HIDDEN CAM: NYC DEMOCRATIC ELECTION COMMISSIONER, “THEY BUS PEOPLE AROUND TO VOTE”
There is a lot of voter fraud

    http://www.infowars.com/hidden-cam-nyc-democratic-election-commissioner-they-bus-people-around-to-vote/

In this new video released by Project Veritas, James O’Keefe exposes what everyone except Democrats have known to be true. There is a lot of voter fraud. In the video, NYC Democratic Commissioner of the Board of Elections Alan Schulkin is caught on hidden camera at a United Federation of Teachers holiday party admitting that there is widespread voter fraud in New York City.

“Yeah, they should ask for your ID. I think there is a lot of voter fraud,” said Schulkin, who elaborated on the types of voter fraud that are taking place in New York.

“You know, I don’t think it’s too much to ask somebody to show some kind of an ID…Like I say, people don’t realize, certain neighborhoods in particular they bus people around to vote,” said Schulkin.

Trump Launches Surgical Strike Against Hillary

Hillary is going to be off for the next 20 days. Bizarre: Hillary Clinton To Disappear for 20 Days Just Prior To November Election
Perhaps Team Clinton is so confident they have derailed the Trump campaign with the release of the Trump “naughty word” scandal, that Mrs. Clinton does not need to bother with actual campaigning for people’s votes? Or, it could be the risk of something happening akin to her physical collapse last month at a 9-11 memorial event so close to Election Day that has them literally hiding Hillary Clinton away from the public. Most likely she may be undergoing heart surgery.

“Her campaign schedule runs through the 23rd, and she has no further events planned. This means that apart from the two events this Monday and the 90-minute debates on the 9th and 19th, Hillary will not show her face for twenty days.

No chance for the cameras to catch her chronic cough, her exotropia (failure of her eyes to converge when looking outward), her dyskinesia (involuntary head movements in response to lights and noise), her tremors, her freezes, her falls. And she’ll have plenty of time to take drug holidays – structured treatment interruptions – to increase the effectiveness of her medications when she resumes treatment just before a debate.

The failure to campaign in October is without precedent in any American presidential election in living memory. Even in 1944, FDR, in failing health and confined to his wheelchair, campaigned vigorously in October.

The media, of course, is studiously ignoring Hillary’s hibernation. Donald Trump shouldn’t.”

Wikileaks Releases Another 1,100 Emails From John Podesta In Third Data Dump
    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-10-11/wikileaks-releases-another-1100-emails-john-podesta-third-data-dump

Moments ago, Wikileaks just released its third data dump from the hacked email account of Hillary Clinton's Campaign Chair, John Podesta, which is becoming a true headache for Hillary Clinton and her supporter base.

There are as many as 1,190 new emails in the latest release, adding to the more than 4,000 emails from Podesta already released by the whistleblowing website, and bringing the total to 5,336. Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has claimed he is sitting on as much as 50,000 messages.

Among the email chains included in in the release is an email chain from February 15, 2016 titled ‘Pushback on immigration,’ which shows a request for Ken Salazar, who was the US secretary of the interior from 2009 to 2013, to write an op-ed to smear Bernie Sanders' "professed support for immigration."

The emails also reveal frustration from Clinton’s camp over President Obama’s reluctance to show support for her. Dated March 12, 2016, over a month after primaries began, advisor Neera Tanden asks Podesta “Can Obama even hint of support of Hillary before Tuesday? Really, just a directional nod would be helpful.”

“Maybe they don't want to do this, but the stakes are pretty damn high in this election for him," Tanden says. Podesta asks “Why don't you push Valerie a little bit,” possibly referencing Valerie Jarrett, senior advisor to Obama.

In the previous release, we learned that some Hillary advisers pushed for Bill’s role in his wife’s campaign for presidency to be reduced, as his “sex life could be damaging to her”.

Clinton has confirmed the authenticity of the hacked emails, clarifying comments exposed by the leak during Sunday’s second presidential debate. Her admission to the National Multi-Housing Council in 2013 that politicians have “both a private position and a public position” was explained as being a discussion she had regarding the film ‘Lincoln’.

While we are going through the latest document dump, as usual, we urge readers to flag and point us to any of the more notable emails, starting with yet another beauty from CNBC's own "unbiased" political commentator John Harwood emailed to Hillary's campaign chairman, John Podesta.

I had a multi-email exchange with someone in the media this morning---a name you would know---who is telling me that there are people close to the Clintons who says WJC's sex life could be damaging to her. I responded that I totally disagree with that, that WJC's presidency and his personal appeal are huge assets and that I do not believe people who are the closest to the Clintons believe what this person in the media is hearing from somebody.  I never ask journalists about their sources. I know you would be among them. I also know that for some times there were people purportedly close to the Clintons pushing the line that the less WJC the better. Which again I have always strongly disagreed with and still do.  My point in this note is that whoever is peddling this crap from somewhere within the Clinton camp is having the effect of encouraging the media to give the issue more prominence. They are hurting both Clintons. I always stay out of intra-staff stuff like this, both Clinton's would be well advised to advise the people in their orbit to shut the hell up about this. Even if I thought Bill Clinton was a liability I would never in a million years write it, or say it to the media, but I think he is a huge asset and I also think some of the people they pay do not perform a service to them.   Sent from my iPad

Chelsea flagged 'serious concerns' about Clinton Foundation conflicts
Hacked emails reveal bitter infighting about how to deal with a Clinton-linked consulting firm's business.

    By KENNETH P. VOGEL 10/11/16

Chelsea Clinton flagged “serious concerns” about her father’s closest aides trying to cash in by using the former president’s name to gain access to government officials on behalf of paying clients, according to hacked emails released this week.
The emails, which were disseminated by WikiLeaks, reveal the bitter tensions within the Clintons’ inner circle that were inflamed when Chelsea Clinton tried to put an end to practices that blurred the line between the foundation, governments and a consulting firm called Teneo that paid Bill Clinton.

Some of the concerns raised by the former first daughter echo attacks that have been dogging her mother Hillary Clinton during her presidential campaign. Clinton’s GOP rival Donald Trump and other Republicans allege that the Clintons used their foundation and private business arrangements to enrich themselves by essentially auctioning off access to the powerful family and their associates in government — including during Hillary Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state.

Teneo, in particular, did lucrative work for foundation donors and entities with business before Clinton’s State Department. And it signed a contract reportedly worth $3.5 million with Bill Clinton to serve as an adviser (though the former president ultimately kept only $100,000 of that, according to his tax returns and a source familiar with the arrangement). Teneo also paid Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s right-hand woman at the State Department, as a “senior advisor.”

One of the pair of Clintonites who founded Teneo, Declan Kelly, was working for Clinton’s State Department while laying the groundwork for the firm, as revealed by POLITICO. POLITICO also exposed that the other Teneo founder, longtime Bill Clinton aide Doug Band, was drawing salaries from both the Clinton Foundation and the former president’s taxpayer-subsidized personal office, while another early Teneo official, Justin Cooper, was being paid by Clinton’s taxpayer-funded office, even as he was performing maintenance on Hillary Clinton’s controversial private email server.

In December 2011, Chelsea Clinton sent a sharply worded email to top family confidantes saying that people in London had raised "serious concerns" about the way Teneo was using her father's name to set up meetings for clients, according to private emails released by WikiLeaks. "I will raise all of this and more with my father this evening," she wrote. "Wanted to update you all in the meanwhile about my augmented concerns post London. . ."

At the time, Chelsea Clinton had already been pushing to enact tougher rules at the foundation regarding conflicts of interest and outside income. In response, Band blasted her behind her back as irrational and ungrateful who runs “to daddy to change a decision or interject herself in the process.”

Pulitzer Prize Winning Journalist: Hillary Approved Sending Sarin Gas to Rebels to Frame Assad, Start Syrian War

In April of 2013, Britain and France informed the United Nations that there was credible evidence that Syria used chemical weapons against rebel forces. Only two months later, in June of 2013, the United States concluded that the Syrian government did, in fact, use chemical weapons in its fight against opposition forces. President Obama immediately used this chemical attack as a pretext for invasion and authorized direct U.S. military support to the rebels, according to the White House.

Since the US has been funding these ‘moderate rebels’ more than 250,000 people have been killed, over 7,600,000 have been internally displaced, and 4,000,000 other human beings have been forced from the country entirely.

All of this death and destruction carried out by a sadistic army of rebels who’ve been funded and armed by the United States government, based on, what we are now told, was a complete fabrication.

World renowned journalist Seymour Hersh has revealed, in a series of interviews and books, that the Obama Administration falsely blamed the government of Syria’s Bashar al-Assad for the sarin gas attack that Obama was trying to use as an excuse to invade Syria.

As Eric Zuesse explained in Strategic Culture, Hersh pointed to a report from British intelligence saying that the sarin that was used didn’t come from Assad’s stockpiles. Hersh also said that a secret agreement in 2012 was reached between the Obama Administration and the leaders of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, to set up a sarin gas attack and blame it on Assad so that the US could invade and overthrow Assad.

New Emails Reveal "Friends Of Bill" Got Special Access From State For Haiti Recovery Contracts
    by Tyler Durden
    Oct 11, 2016

Newly released emails obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit by the Republican National Committee, and subsequently shared with ABC News, reveal very open special treatment of "Friends of Bill" ("FOB" for short) by the State Department in granting access to recovery efforts in Haiti, in which $10 billion in emergency aid was spent after the 2010 earthquake.

The emails show very close coordination between Caitlin Klevorick, a senior State Department official, and Amitabh Desai, the director of foreign policy for the Clinton Foundation, as they exchanged emails from Foundation donors looking to participate in the Haiti recovery efforts. While many donors likely were just looking to make charitable contributions, others, as evidenced below, were simply looking to capture their "fair share" of $10 billion in emergency aid contracts doled out by the U.S. government.

The following exchange between Klevorick and Dasai, with the subject line "Haiti Assistance," shows the State Department very clearly asking for "Friends of Bill" to be flagged for special consideration.

“Need you to flag when people are friends of WJC,” wrote Caitlin Klevorick, then a senior State Department official who was juggling incoming offers of assistance being funneled to the State Department by the Clinton Foundation. “Most I can probably ID but not all.”

Of course, this directly contradicts comments that Bill Clinton previously made to CBS' Charlie Rose just last month when he assured voters that "nothing was ever done for anybody because they were contributors to the foundation, nothing."

In another Klevorick and Dasai exchange, the State Department official asks “Is this a FOB!” saying that "If not, she should go to cidi.org" (a general government website).

"I think when you look at both the State Department and the Clinton Foundation in Haiti, that line was pretty faint between the two,” said Jake Johnston, a Haiti analyst for the nonpartisan Center for Economic and Policy Research. “You had a lot of coordination and connection between the two, obviously. And I think that raises significant questions about how they were both operating.”

As ABC points out, one series of messages uncovers the efforts of billionaire Denis O’Brien, a longtime donor to the Clinton Foundation and the CEO of the Jamaica-based telecom firm Digicel, to fly relief supplies into Port-au-Prince and get employees of his company out. But when O'Brien couldn't get access to land in Port-au-Prince "through conventional channels" he turns to long-time Clinton aide Doug Band for help. Shortly thereafter, the request was elevated to the State Department in an email with the subject line "Close friend of the Clintons."

“This WJC VIP just called again from Jamaica to say Digicel is being pushed by US Army to get comms back up but is not being cleared by [the U.S. government] to deploy into Haiti to do so,” Desai wrote in an email with the subject line “Close friend of Clintons.”

Later, O’Brien writes to longtime Clinton aide Doug Band to express frustration. “We’re finding it impossible to get landing slots,” he says. “I’m sorry to bother you but I am not making any progress through conventional channels.”

Band tasks Desai to “pls get on this,” telling O’Brien, “Never a bother.”

Desai then turns to Klevorick to help “a friend of President Clinton,” and the request is pushed up the chain of command to USAID officials organizing the relief effort.

The following exchange highlights a request from Clinton Foundation donor, Garry Mauro, who also ran Bill Clinton's presidential campaigns in Texas. In this instance, DRC Emergency Services was seemingly compensated for their efforts with their website noting "having performed emergency response work at disasters around the globe, with over $2 billion in disaster response contracts."

Desai forwarded a note to Klevorick from Garry Mauro, who served twice as the Texas state chairman for Bill Clinton’s presidential campaigns and has donated $25,000 to $50,000 to the Clinton Foundation. The offer was for “major assets in Haiti” from a company called DRC Emergency Services. On its website, the company boasts of having performed emergency response work at disasters around the globe, with over $2 billion in disaster response contracts. Desai noted that Mauro was “a friend of WJC.”

Klevorick replied, “also note hrc friend,” using initials for Hillary Rodham Clinton. The email chain does not indicate if Mauro’s recommendation led to a contract for DRC, though the company’s website states, “Within 24 hours of the earthquake’s occurrence, DRC assembled and mobilized a team of highly experienced and dedicated personnel to Port-au-Prince and the surrounding areas.”

Mauro told ABC News he approached the Clinton Foundation on behalf of DRC after seeing on television that former Presidents Clinton and George H.W. Bush were raising money for the disaster. DRC had already been doing temporary housing work in Haiti, and company officials thought the earthquake would open the door to a major business expansion.

“They wanted to get some of the business,” he said of DRC. “The Clinton Foundation was a facilitator. They didn’t have the money."
Of course, we have no doubt that these scandalous revelations, like many others circling the Clinton campaign at the moment, will quickly be brushed under the carpet so the mainstream media can go back to focusing on Trump's "grab 'em by the pu$$y" comment.

Clinton Campaign Confiscates Cell Phones From Donors
Campaign preventing press from showing low attendance at Hillary events
    Jamie White & Kit Daniels
    Prison Planet.com
    October 11, 2016

The Hillary Clinton campaign controls how the press covers her fundraisers and even asked donors to turn in their cell phones so “unapproved” images wouldn’t get leaked to the press, according to Wikileaks emails obtained from Clinton’s campaign manager John Podesta.
    hillary-clinton-red
Clinton confidant Huma Abedin exchanged these emails with aide Kristina Schake in April 2015. Schake outlines specific conditions that would allow the donors and press at Clinton events to bring cellphones and cameras for the purposes of manipulating public perception of Hillary’s favorability.

    She wrote:
“Here is a draft policy for input: less than 100 people – NO cellphones, NO press.

Over 100 people, YES cell phones, and ONE print pooler will be escorted in for her remarks only and then escorted out. NO TV cameras.
Over 500 people in a public space – YES cell phones, OPEN press (all press access including TV cameras).”

So a Clinton event with less than 500 people gets virtually no coverage because it would showcase Democrats’ lack of enthusiasm for their candidate.

The email continues with Schake telling Abedin that Clinton spokesman Jesse Ferguson has suggested the following for fundraiser guests if under 100 people:

“Since the event is not open to cameras from the media b/c of space, we will be asking you to check your cell phone so images aren’t released from the event that were unavailable to the media. We take our relationship with the press seriously and don’t want them to be at a disadvantage.”

In other words, they tell guests not to sneak out photos of the event because it may fall outside of the lockstep positive coverage by the lapdog media and could contradict their spin.

The “no cell phone” rule may also prevent camera flashes from triggering Hillary into having a seizure.

Meanwhile, the only relationship Republican nominee Donald Trump has with the media is a hostile affair, with media titan Bill O’Reilly saying he’s “100% convinced” that at least 3 big media outlets have “ordered their employees to destroy Trump.”

“I’m talking about big conglomerates,” said O’Reilly on America’s Newsroom Monday following the second presidential debate. “News organizations have sent, not officially but through the corporate grapevine, [word] that we don’t want anybody supporting Trump. If you study it, you can see which ones they are.”

But fear not, the media is totally nonbiased and only wants to present balanced information in a fair and open way – as long as that information elevates Hillary or hurts Trump.

Paid Trolls Floods Social Media to Counteract Negative News About Hillary Clinton
Stream | One supporter being paid to create multiple anonymous accounts does not constitute genuine support for Hillary Clinton.

    October 11, 2016
A significant portion of online support for Hillary Clinton is manufactured by paid “astroturf” trolls: a large team of supporters who spends long hours responding to negative news on the internet about her.

The Clinton SuperPAC Correct the Record, which is affiliated with her campaign, acknowledged in an April press release that it was spending $1 million on project “Breaking Barriers” to pay people to respond to negative information about Clinton on social media sites like Facebook, Reddit, Instagram and Twitter. That amount has since increased to over $6 million. The trolls create a false impression that Clinton has more support than she really does, because one supporter will frequently create multiple anonymous accounts.

Libby Watson of The Sunlight Foundation observed that the astroturf effort goes far beyond merely defending Clinton, to targeting and intimidating those who criticize her. She told The Daily Beast, “This seems to be going after essentially random individuals online.”
Brian Donahue, chief executive of the consulting firm Craft Media/Digital, explained the troll operation to The Los Angeles Times, “It is meant to appear to be coming organically from people and their social media networks in a groundswell of activism, when in fact it is highly paid and highly tactical.” He went on, “That is what the Clinton campaign has always been about. It runs the risk of being exactly what their opponents accuse them of being: a campaign that appears to be populist but is a smokescreen that is paid and brought to you by lifetime political operatives and high-level consultants.”

WIKILEAKS: State Department ‘cleared’ Hillary tweet about emails
    OCTOBER 11TH, 2016
    BY KYLE OLSON

Hillary Clinton is so managed and scripted by her aides, an email chain released by Wikileaks reveals no fewer than eight people were involved in writing a single tweet, and that doesn’t include State Department employee(s) who “cleared” it.

Clinton’s campaign sought to issue a statement on March 4, 2015 saying Hillary wanted the State Department to release her emails for public review.

Philippe Reines emailed Clinton advisor Cheryl Mills, campaign chairman John Podesta, campaign manager Robby Mook, press aides Nick Merrill and Jennifer Palmieri and Heather Samuelson the proposed language of the “cleared” tweet:

“I want the public to see my email. I asked State to release them. They said they (sic) will review them for release as soon as possible.”

    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/wikileaks-dumps-more-john-podesta-emails/

Wikileaks Releases Another 1,193 Emails From John Podesta In Fourth Data Dump
And the hits just keep on coming.

After the third and latest dump of Podesta Emails released yesterday revealed some unexpected interactions between the "independent press" and the Clinton Campaign, as well as potentially hinting of coordination between the DOJ and Hillary's closest circle, following a similar revelation involving the State Department one day prior, moments ago, Wikileaks just released its lastest, fourth data dump from the hacked email account of Hillary Clinton's Campaign Chair, John Podesta, which continues to be a major headache for Hillary Clinton and her supporter base.

There are as many as 1,193 new emails in the latest release, bringing the total to 6,526. Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has claimed he is sitting on as much as 50,000 messages.

As usual, as we parse through the latest document dump, we urge readers to flag and point us to any of the more notable emails they find.

Meanwhile, it may be time for the Clinton campaign to release another tape. The impact of Friday's "Trump Tape" is dissipating and at this rate, the media may find it difficult to keep the audience's attention redirected exlusively to Trump.

As a reminder, the latest release comes after John Podesta did not deny the authenticity of the emails, but was quick to blame everyone from Trump, to Wikileaks to the Russians for the ongoing bombardment.

As we reproted previously, while so far there have been no major devastating revelations, aside from Hillary's admissions in her Wall Street speech transcripts that she had one "persona" for public appearances, and a vastly different one for well-paid private ones, the massive leak does lift the veil on Team Clinton’s inner workings.

Clinton Blames Trump, Wikileaks And Moscow After Latest Leak; FBI Gets Involved

Hacked John Podesta, who is also Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, said there is a "reasonable belief" that Julian Assange passed information to Donald Trump in connection with Russian-directed e-mail hacking of Democrats in an attempt to influence the U.S. presidential election. He also said that the FBI is investigating a hack of his Gmail account.

While Hillary Clinton has little to worry about in terms of a mass audience reaction to the ongoing leaks from the Podesta emails, conveniently overshadowed by the relentless media furore over the Trump Tapes at a 15 to 1 ratio in terms of non-stop media exposure...overnight the man in the middle of the Wikileaks scandal, Hillary's campaign manager John Podesta slammed WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on Tuesday for helping Republican rival Donald Trump in the White House race, while accusing Moscow of being behind the hack.

Translation: the leaks were correct, and while we have no idea who is behind them, we will just blame the Russians - after all, how can they possibly retaliate with diplomatic conditions already dreadful.

Podesta also accused longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone of receiving “advance warning” about WikiLeaks’s plan to publish the hacked emails. He slammed Trump for taking positions “more consistent with Russian foreign policy than US foreign policy”, pointing the Republican nominee’s hostility toward the NATO transatlantic alliance and his indulgence toward Russia’s annexation of Crimea.

Meanwhile, the infamous FBI is now also involved: according to Bloomberg, the FBI told Podesta on Sunday that it is investigating a hack of his Gmail account in connection with the broader hacking probe.

Trump, who continues to question Russia’s role in the high-profile leaks of e-mails, is “either willfully ignoring the information that’s coming from the highest reaches of the U.S. intelligence community” or is “an unwitting agent of the Russian federation,” Podesta said.

    * * *

Meanwhile, Trump pounced on the hack, saying the leaked emails “make more clear than ever just how much is at stake in this election.”

“This election will determine whether we remain a free country, or we become a corrupt Banana Republic controlled by large donors and foreign governments,” he told supporters.

He added: “The election of Hillary Clinton would lead to the destruction of our country.”

In other words, no matter who wins on November 8, that "evil hacking mastermind" Vladimit Putin appears to face a win-win situation.

Hillary: Deceit, Debt, & Delusions (Part 2)
Submitted by Jim Quinn via The Burning Platform blog,

In Part One of this article I addressed the deceit of Hillary Clinton and politicians of all stripes as they promise goodies they can never pay for, in order to buy votes and expand their power and control over our lives.

I created the chart below for an article I wrote in 2011 when the national debt stood at $14.8 trillion, with my projection of its growth over the next eight years. I predicted the national debt would reach $20 trillion in 2016 and was ridiculed by arrogant Keynesians who guaranteed their “stimulus” (aka pork) would supercharge the economy and result in huge tax inflows and drastically reduced deficits. As of today, the national debt stands at $19.7 trillion and is poised to reach $20 trillion by the time “The Hope & Change Savior” leaves office on January 20, 2017. I guess I wasn’t really a crazed pessimist after all. I guarantee the debt will reach $25 trillion by the end of the next presidential term, unless the Ponzi scheme collapses into financial depression and World War 3 (a strong probability).

The total disregard for the most perilous issue confronting the nation by politicians of all stripes is a national disgrace, proving beyond a doubt the elite ruling class has no conscience, no sense of morality, and no loyalty to the common people or future generations. The sociopaths who act as if they are in control addressed the 2008 global debt meltdown by adding tens of trillions in new debt to an already unsustainable system, setting the world on a course towards total financial collapse and world war.

There is no denying Wall Street, through the greatest control fraud in history, purposely generated trillions in bad mortgage products, bundled them in packages of indecipherable derivatives, bribed and threatened the rating agencies for fake AAA ratings, sold them to unsuspecting clients, while simultaneously shorting them, and proceeded to destroy the global financial system in the process.

The national debt at the outset of this crisis was $10 trillion, with total US credit market debt of $54.5 trillion. The debt was too damned high. A massive deleveraging needed to take place, wiping out the bad debt and those banks who gambled and lost. But, those who would have lost were establishment Wall Street bankers, billionaires and politically connected players. The establishment circled the wagons, instructed their puppets at the Federal Reserve to do whatever necessary to save Wall Street, rolled out trillions of Keynesian claptrap spending schemes, and threw Main Street and specifically senior citizens under the bus.

Eight years later the national debt stands at $19.7 trillion and total credit market debt has leaped to over $64 trillion. The Fed has conspired with other central banks around the world (specifically the ECB and JCB) to follow suite, driving global debt to an all-time high of $152 trillion – 225% of a rapidly slowing world GDP. And this doesn’t include the trillions of bad debt within the financial sector, as insolvent banks like Deutsche Bank, all Greek, Italian and Spanish banks, and Citigroup teeter on the edge. Rogoff and Reinhart proved when the debt to GDP ratio in countries exceeds 90%, financial catastrophe isn’t far behind. What does that say about our global economy?

We have the greatest debt bubble in world history and neither presidential candidate thinks it worthy of 30 seconds during two 90 minute debates. Instead they focus on the important stuff like pussy, bimbo eruptions, emails, and mean talk. The proposals of both candidates would turbocharge already skyrocketing deficits. The people of this country should be scared shitless about the debt. But instead they are focused like a laser beam on Kim Kardashian’s latest escapade, twitter wars, facebook pictures of a distant cousin’s toe fungus, and the latest adventures of the Housewives of NY, NJ, OC, or Atlanta.

All honest borrowers know debt must be repaid. The U.S. government is not an honest borrower. With the national debt rising by $2.8 billion per day, one needs to question whether the U.S. government is an honest borrower. With annual deficits guaranteed to exceed $1 trillion per year for as far as the eye can see, how will the debt ever be repaid?

The Keynesian acolytes like Summers, Krugman, Bernanke and Zandi seem to forget Keynes promoted deficit spending during economic downturns, to be offset by surpluses during economic upturns. They are paid well by the establishment to forget. Hazlitt had to deal with superficial men of a similar ilk during his time. They care only for whatever cockamamie economic squandering idea they are paid to sell as the latest government salvation plan. The idiotic ideas never change, only the names of the foolhardy fanboys selling the idiocy to a disinterested and distracted populace.

“There are men regarded today as brilliant economists, who deprecate saving and recommend squandering on a national scale as the way of economic salvation; and when anyone points to what the consequences of these policies will be in the long run, they reply flippantly, as might the prodigal son of a warning father: “In the long run we are all dead.” And such shallow wisecracks pass as devastating epigrams and the ripest wisdom.” ? Henry Hazlitt, Economics in One Lesson

These pretentious so called economists always promote some scheme such as Cash for Clunkers, first time home buyer credits, national infrastructure rebuilding, war, and other broken window fallacy programs designed to get something for nothing. They declare haughtily the government can spend without limit and pile up trillions of debt because we owe it to ourselves. These are nothing but falsehoods built upon flawed logic and sold to a gullible public by media mouthpieces, crooked politicians, and dishonest bankers.

An honest man, not beholden to the establishment, like Ray Dalio, founder of Bridgewater Associates, who manages $150 billion, knows a debt bubble when he sees it. The world is approaching the limits of debt expansion. He also understands the issuers of the debt, holders of the debt and taxpayers cannot possibly all be satisfied in the long run. It’s the common working stiff who will be screwed again.

“Debt is fundamentally a liability even though it is treated as an asset by those who “own” it. As a result, holders of debt believe that they are holding an asset that they can sell for money to use to buy things, so they believe that they will have that spending power without having to work. Similarly, retirees expect that they will get the retirement and health care benefits that they were promised without working. So, all of these people expect to get a huge amount of spending power without producing anything. At the same time, workers expect to get spending power that is equal in value to what they are giving. They all can’t be satisfied.”

The Federal Reserve, in their frantic and illegal endeavor to prop up their insolvent benefactors on Wall Street and crooked politicians in Washington D.C., have destroyed the free market system based upon saving, investing, risk, failure and creative destruction. They have created a stagnant zombie economy dependent upon zero bound interest rates and rigged stock markets to maintain the appearance of normalcy.

Their zero interest rate policy has destroyed the lives of millions of senior citizens (with 3.6 million turning 65 every year for the next two decades), guaranteed the bankruptcy of pension plans across the country, and signaled to corporate CEOs that it is smarter to borrow billions and buyback their stock than to invest in capital, equipment or people. They have sapped the life out of the real economy, making it impossible to ever achieve 3% GDP growth again. The wave of Boomers retiring will be an anchor as former providers of taxes become users of healthcare and pension benefits.

The national debt is poised to reach $25 trillion by the end of the next presidential term. This would push the debt to GDP to 120%, up from 106% today. Remember, when this level has exceeded 90% throughout history stagnation and economic collapse was not far behind. This brings us back to the so called economic gurus of our time who condescendingly declare Japan’s debt to GDP ratio of 230% as proof deficits and debt don’t matter.

They fail to mention Japan has been in a three decade long recessionary death spiral with their stock market is still 57% below its 1990 peak. The predictable nonsense emanating from bloviating windbags for the establishment about the ever growing jenga tower of debt not being an issue is no different than their blather about the fraudulent housing bubble not being a problem in 2005 because it hadn’t burst yet.

The fact is the Fed has artificially suppressed interest rates for the last eight years in a failed attempt to make their warped academic theories work in the real world. Emergency level rates may have been necessary in 2008 and 2009, but keeping them at 0% for eight years reveals their complete capture by Wall Street and the establishment politicos. Now they are trapped. They can never allow free markets to regain control of our economy, as the slightest uptick in rates will now blow the global economy sky high.

The feeble minded politicians that pass for leaders believe the $10 trillion increase in debt since 2008 is no problem because interest on the debt is less today than it was in 2008. For the fiscal year just ended the interest on the debt was a mere $433 billion. That is based on an average interest rate of about 2.3%. The average rate in 2008 was about 4.5%. Ray Dalio, our smart hedge fund manager, points out an inconvenient fact for the mathematically challenged dimwits running this shitshow.

“It would only take a 100 basis point rise in Treasury bond yields to trigger the worst price decline in bonds since the 1981 bond market crash. And since those interest rates are embedded in the pricing of all investment assets that would send them all much lower.”

What the politicians ignoring the 20 trillion pound elephant in the room fail to tell the American public is a 1% increase in the average interest rate would cause interest on the debt to soar to $660 billion, a 52% increase over the FY16 level. A similar increase around the globe would blow a $1.5 trillion hole in governmental budgets. At the end of the next presidential term when the national debt will be $25 trillion or more, a 3.3% average rate across all bond durations would yield annual interest expense of $825 billion, almost double the current level.

Only a brain dead Keynesian, Ivy League educated economist, mainstream media spokesmodel, or bought off political flunky cannot see the inevitable financial Armageddon approaching unless we reverse course now. But there is absolutely no one within the deep state establishment with the moral fiber or courage to stand up and do the right thing. The plan seems to be to pretend the debt is not a problem, increase taxes and use the most vicious form of taxation – hidden inflation on those least able to pay – to make the unpayable debt less burdensome and screw the bondholders with guaranteed losses. Hazlitt had their number 70 years ago.

“Here we shall have to say simply that all government expenditures must eventually be paid out of the proceeds of taxation; that inflation itself is merely a form, and a particularly vicious form, of taxation. It is perhaps the worst possible form, which usually bears hardest on those least able to pay.” ? Henry Hazlitt, Economics in One Lesson

Politicians and central bankers play both sides of the fence when lying about inflation. Bernanke and Yellen have set a magical level of 2% inflation, which is somehow supposed to promote full employment and stable prices. Why 2%? Why not 1.8956723%? It’s just as outlandish in its conception. Over the last eight years we’ve listened to these highly educated boobs lie about raising rates as soon as inflation hit 2% or when unemployment dropped to 6.5%.

Inflation has been over 2% during these eight years and according to the BLS bullshit spreaders, unemployment is currently 5% – still no rate increase. We are lost in a blizzard of Fed lies. They are now trapped by their own lies. Normalization of interest rates will never ever happen. Negative real rates have been in effect and negative nominal rates are in our future. How Yellen and her fellow banker cronies sleep at night knowing they have destroyed and continue to destroy the lives of senior citizens, the middle class and the millennial generation is beyond me.

Here’s the game being played behind the curtain, never to be revealed by Hillary, Yellen, the captured dying legacy media, or anyone beholden to the establishment for their paycheck or bribe:

    (1) You keep the lower classes trapped in ghettos, dependent upon welfare scraps provided by the state for their sustenance.

    (2) You keep the masses dumbed down and socially stunted through government indoctrination in public schools.

    (3) You tax the working class heavily while convincing them piling up consumer debt is the path to happiness.

    (4) You bastardize, manipulate and fraudulently reduce the reported level of inflation in order to screw senior citizens out of their Social Security benefits.

    (5) You run up the national debt to astronomical levels while making $200 trillion of unfunded welfare promises to future generations.

    (6) Since the debt is unpayable, you generate man made real inflation exceeding 5% per year in order to inflate away the debt.

    (7) You never speak of this plan while paying your media mouthpieces to distract the populace with electronic bread & circuses.

(Cool As a last resort you start World War III to divert attention away from your traitorous actions.

As we come down the home stretch of this election, the stakes have never been higher. The future of the country is at stake. Do we believe in liberty? Do we believe in the truth? Do we care whether this country survives the next decade? Do we care about future generations? Then it’s time to stand up and be heard. It’s time to fight. It’s time for the putrid, corrupt, evil establishment to be eradicated like filthy roaches in your basement. Hazlitt sums it up nicely:

“The times call for courage. The times call for hard work. But if the demands are high, it is because the stakes are even higher. They are nothing less than the future of liberty, which means the future of civilization.”

In Part Three of this article I will dismantle Hillary Clinton’s pie in the sky delusional economic proposals with facts, logic, and a cold dose of reality. Feeble minded mathematically deficient ideologues need not read it. Their heads would explode.
