Russian warplanes reportedly bombed US base in Syria

Russian warplanes reportedly bombed US base in Syria
Russian warplanes reportedly bombed a secret military base in Syria used by elite American and British forces last month.
The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that the Russian strike on the CIA-linked site was part of a campaign by Russia to pressure the White House to agree to closer cooperation in the Syrian skies, U.S. military and intelligence officials said.
Despite the fact that some forces could have been killed and the bombing dampened relations between Russia and the Pentagon and CIA, the White House and State Department still persued a compromise.
The U.S. and Russia agreed to a pact last week to target airstrikes against the Al Qaeda affiliate in the region – Nusra Front – despite objections from the Pentagon and CIA. Russia agreed to stop airstrikes on U.S.-backed rebels and restrain the Syrian air campaign. The two sides are still talking about designations where Russia would need U.S. approval to conduct an airstrike.

"In other words, there are two ways forward here, the first is to use these emerging space issues to impose, literally top down, a new international mechanism, in effect a global governmental institution, to arbitrate disputes, and impose either regulation or law on space and celestial bodies, or two, a decentralzing solution, also suggested by Elvis, for each signatory to the current treaty to impose their own construction or interpretation to its provisions.

This, of course, is a short term solution, and eventually will require some wider mechanism.

And that brings us back to that recent Chinese-Russian agreement about each side's "rights" and control over "sensitive space technologies," for lunar "research bases" would certainly qualiify as "sensitive lunar technologies.: Thus, we may be looking at yet a third solution to the problem: the negotiation of dual-party agreements between countries, or corporations, or both. If so, then we can expect certain things will happen and we can watch for them to appear: (1) Western centralizing globalists will increasingly call for a top-down centralizing solution in the form of the creation by treaty of some institution to arbitrate all potential space conflicts and affairs and will use the emergence of Chinese-Russian cooperation, or any other non-Western cooperation, as a foil and potential threat to advocate for it, (2) non-centralizing globalists will counter this movement by backing precisely such multiparty agreements, and (3) Russia and China will seek to expand the basis of this type of agreement to other space players, especially non-Western ones, such as Japan, India, and possibly nations like Argentina and Brazil.

To put it country simple: the game's afoot folks."

"It's that phrase "sensitive space technologies in joint projects like launch vehicles and rocket engines" that caught my eye, for the implication is that this deal may have contained hidden or secret protocols for "sensitive space technologies" of a very different sort, such as space- and/or ground-based anti-satellite (ASAT) weapons, and weapons of a more offensive nature. We tend to take for granted - "since no one else is out there" - that joint missions to Mars, or the commercialization of the Moon or mining of asteroids, are all enterprises that will require the protection of those assets, and that implies, as I've argued previously, not only the inevitable militarization but weaponization of space. Thus, this statement may indicate yet another thing: namely, that Russia and China are coordinating their space-defense issues at a very high, and in a very detailed, way, including jurisdiction over "sensitive technologies."

Recall that in yesterday's blog I indicated that the Russian announcement of a transmutation technology was, in the Russian scientists' own estimation, a space-related technology, allowing the conversion of raw materials for fuels, such as might provide power to permanent human installations on the Moon. This makes it a competitor for being one of those "sensitive technologies" that Russia and China would indeed negotiate over. Additionally, I also suggested that this technology, with its huge potential implications for the issue of nuclear proliferation, would qualify it for careful controls and monitoring by the Russian government.

It is thus the timing of all these announcements that intrigues me, for it is as if the Russian government (and the Chinese) are inviting the West to "connect these two dots". If so, the result is a financial-geo-spatio--political earthquake, and yes, I'm willing to crawl way out onto the end of the twig of high octane speculation to suggest that this, too, may be a reason we have seen the abrupt geopolitical about-faces lately, from BREXIT, to Sultan Erdogan's sudden "turn to Russia", and Mr. Kerry's equally sudden trip to Moscow to patch things up."

Russian Scientists Produce A SHOCKING Technology That Can Transmute Any Element Into Another

    https://geopolitics.co/2016/07/14/russian-scientists-announce-historic-discovery-rendering-the-entire-system-obsolete/

"This also reminds me of those alchemical texts that indicate transmutation cannot occur unless it occurs in "putrefying dung", a statement indicating that at least some sort of biological process is involved.

The real zinger here is that the Russians have made this announcement in a very carefully chosen place and time: in Geneva, headquarters for CERN, and of course in Switzerland, a major epicenter of the West's financial system. And given the stated claims, the Russians are pointing out the potential proliferation problems it implies, so, contrary to the enthusiasm of the article, don't look for this technology to be sold to just anyone. The place and timing were shots across the bow of the West, and since they occurred prior to Mr. Ketchup Kerry's visit to Moscow, and the apparent agreement to coordinate American and Russian anti-terrorism efforts, and thus occurred also before the attempted "coup" against Sultan Erdogan, this announcement may indeed have sent geopolitical and financial shockwaves through the West. The implication of this "new alchemy" is that nuclear fuels can be made (or for that matter, unmade) from scratch, as it were, and that precious bullions themselves can be made, again, from "scratch" as it were.

And it's not the only thing the Russians have been talking about, or doing, as the rest of the world has been focussed on Ketchup Kerry and Sultan Erdogan, but for that, we'll have to wait until tomorrow..."
