    Sununu: Mueller Hiring Democrats Because He Knows There's Nothing to Investigate

    Camerota: “Should the White House know if the President is being investigated for obstruction of justice?”

    Sununu: “If the President is being investigated for obstruction of justice, the White House should have been officially notified.”

    Camerota asked Sununu if he was bothered by the possibility that President Trump is being investigated for obstruction of justice. Sununu brought up the fact that Mueller is stacking his legal team with biased lawyers who are Democrat donors.

    Sununu: “What bothers me the most–and there must be a reason for it, is Mueller making four of his first hires so blatantly biased lawyers, pro-Democrat lawyers with a bias certainly against the President…

    …Maybe Mueller has decided internally that this isn’t going anywhere and that the only way he can have credibility on a decision saying that there’s nothing there is to have that decision come from a group of lawyers that are so blatantly biased against the President.”

    Anonymous - Donald Trump to Expose James Comey... (Trump Leaks)

    What Was Just Exposed About Robert Mueller Will End The Trump-Russia Investigation For Good
    Published on Jun 17, 2017

    Donald Trump has been facing an uphill battle since he was sworn into office and to this point has navigated through some rough situations. Through it all though, he has come out clean but now the President has another major battle on his hands and this time those that are investigating him may be tied too closely together to continue further. Robert Mueller is one of the men in question who needs to recuse himself from the special council. He simply has too many ties to Comey and others.

    As a matter of fact just today it was reported by The Hill that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein confirmed that he might have to recuse himself from any further involvement in the Russian investigation, and if he decides this is the best course of action it all but confirms Mueller needs to join him in that decision.

    Rosenstein reportedly told his colleagues that he is now considering his own recusal in the Russian investigation, though it is not clear why he has reached this conclusion. The implications of the decision may magnify questions over Mueller’s own status.

    Rosenstein reason to recuse himself would be the prospect of his being a potential witness in the obstruction of justice investigation against President Trump. Recently a leak from the special counsel investigation revealed that Trump is now a potential target — a leak clearly calculated to deter Trump from his reported consideration of firing Mueller.

    Rosenstein has the final say on whether Mueller is allowed to stay on the special council. That gives him influence over a Special Prosecutor who could be investigating Rosenstein’s own role in the firing of Comey. This is a major conflict of interest and proves we need fresh blood on this investigation if it does proceed further. This witch hunt is going too far and Democrats are going to find themselves in a major conundrum if they don’t act accordingly.

    Fox News legal expert Gregg Jarrett has suggested Robert Mueller recuse himself from the special counsel due to his relationship with James Comey stating:

    “If you look at the special counsel statute it says you cannot serve as special counsel if you have a personal relationship with someone who is central to the case. If this Washington Post story is true, it’s now Trump against Comey. Comey is now the star witness, the key witness against Trump. Well, guess what? Comey and Mueller are longtime close personal friends, partners, allies. They were joined at the hip at the DOJ and FBI. It’s a mentor-protege relationship. How is this fair to Donald Trump because Mueller is now going to decide whether to believe his good friend or the man who fired his good friend.”

    Mueller and Comey joined in a historical moment that defined both men in a deeply personal way. In March 2004, Comey, who was deputy attorney general, went to the hospital bed of Attorney General John Ashcroft to keep him from relenting to demands from White House counsel Alberto Gonzales and others to sign papers reauthorizing the unconstitutional domestic surveillance program.

    It is clear Mueller needs to step down. No one should be considered for such an important matter when history proves the relationship between the two is clearly close-knit. It is wrong to expect that Mueller will in any way throw Comey under the bus and that leads to nothing but bad things.

    This witch hunt on Donald Trump needs to end. What needs to be happening is an investigation into Hillary Clinton and other top levels Democrats who clearly leaked info and put many lives at risks with their actions. They will stop at nothing to take Donald Trump down and they know that if they fail, many of them will end up in jail. In the end, Trump will prevail and the real bad guys will be brought to justice.

    Presidential Assassination Plot Just Thwarted Last Night – Here’s What Was Seconds From Happening

    Here’s What Was Seconds From Happening

    Liberals are on the loose this week, which picked up speed in the latter half when a lone gunman felt vindicated by opening fire on a congressional baseball practice. Other idiots were inspired by his would-be killing spree, which was all set in motion to get to the President of the United States, for the ultimate “win.” A group of leftist degenerates assassination plot was thwarted last night

    A group of leftist degenerates’ assassination plot was thwarted last night when they made the mistake of not realizing their surroundings. Some protesters were nearby showing their support for Donald Trump in the aftermath of a series of attacks. As soon as they realized what was about to go down, the patriotic army of badasses rushed in and shocked everyone with what they did to thwart it, proving that real Americans are fed up with the rhetoric.

    When an attempted killing of Congress members takes place, all other anti-president protests, or anything that could be considered a violent use of one’s First Amendment right, scheduled for the week should be postponed out of respect for the victims of that attack. Despite the fact that Representative Steve Scalise is still in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound and three surgeries to repair his injured hip from it, the left knows no bounds and forged ahead with their Trump assassination play in New York’s Central Park.

    “The Shakespeare in the Park rendition of Julius Caesar is still scheduled to play this weekend in Central Park after the shooting of GOP Rep. Scalise by a devout Bernie Sanders supporter,” the Gateway Pundit reported. “This year’s play ‘Julius Caesar’ depicts President Donald Trump’s assassination.”

    Perhaps the intent to carry on the disrespectful show despite the recent terroristic events by an anti-Trump shooter was for a reaction, which they certainly received in a way they weren’t expecting but definitely deserved. A pro-Trump protester interrupted the show in rightful defense of our president and to show that conservatives have had enough, which didn’t go over well with all the liberals in attendance.

    The protesters of this sick play rushed the stage in the middle of the show and began shouting, “Goebbels Would Be Proud!” “Laura Loomer from Rebel Media attended the performance and ruined the liberal fun, the Gateway Pundit added. “Laura rushed the stage and started screaming ‘Stop Leftist Violence!!’” This went on for over half a minute.

    Sheriff Clarke caught wind of what these brave and fed-up patriots did and took to Twitter to call for physical resistance to defeat the left:

    “Really? It’s not what I prefer but if the left insists…time to saddle up. I didn’t help get @realDonaldTrump elected to back down now,” Clarke said last night on social media. This was among a flurry of other messages calling for conservatives to start defending themselves and our president against the violent left.

    “The New York Times and CNN’s parent company Time Warner are standing by their sponsorship of a play that depicts the brutal assassination of President Donald Trump, raising the question of whether the news reporting outlets should retain their credentials to cover and have access to President Trump, Gateway Pundit’s report added. Delta Airlines and Bank of America have reportedly dropped their support for the play in the wake of public outrage over the play’s depiction of Trump’s assassination.”

    What the deceased ballpark shooter did on Wednesday morning awoken the conservative giant and something within each one of us. We now realize that people of this political party won’t play fair or reasonable, and will report to killing over political differences. This makes liberals and Democrats no different than terrorists and they are inciting a civil war with these reactions.

    While the left seeks to dismantle the right and reclaim power, their destructive and divisive efforts have now backfired on them. The made their own set of rules and can now enjoy living by them. They’ve empowered the conservatives who are coming together with a resolve to take our country back from these lunatics and make it great again, now more than ever.

    This is the “fruit” of what eight years under the most divisive and anti-American leader has created. It’s Barack Obama’s legacy and he’s laughing at the path of destruction he left behind as he jet sets off on another vacation.

    It also comes from a socialist, liberal public and collegiate education system in this country. When you stop teaching correct American history, how the constitution was really written, accurate government and civics lessons, then remove God from our schools on top of it – this is the direct result. Most of these protesters are operating as robots to what they were taught without a clue about our nation’s history or even who their elected officials in office are, or simply don’t care.

    Senate Committee Launches First New Clinton Corruption Investigation Since Trump Election:
    Involving Hillary & Clinton Foundation

    http://dailycaller.com/2017/06/04/senate-committee-launches-a-new-clinton-investigation/

    “If the Secretary of State used her position to intervene in an independent investigation by a sovereign government simply because of a personal and financial relationship stemming from the Clinton Foundation rather than the legitimate foreign policy interests of the United States, then that would be unacceptable,”Grassley told Tillerson.

    Clinton’s support for Yunus dates to former President Bill Clinton’s years as Arkansas governor. Both Clintons became micro-credit loan advocates and enthusiastic backers of Yunus, who invented the lending scheme. Bill Clinton reportedly lobbied the Nobel Prize Committee on behalf of Yunus. The committee awarded him the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize.

    From 2008 onward, Yunus was a featured speaker at the glitzy Clinton Global Initiative’s annual meeting. He donated between $100,000-$250,000 to CGI and $25,000-$50,000 to the Clinton Foundation, according to the Clinton Foundation website.

    Wazed told TheDCNF it was “astounding and mind boggling” to him that between 2010 and 2012 senior State Department officials repeatedly pressured him to influence his mother to drop the Grameen Bank investigation.

    “They threatened me with the possibility of an audit by the Internal Revenue Service,” Wazed said. “They would say over and over again, ‘Yunus has powerful friends’ and we all knew they were talking of Secretary Clinton. Everybody knew it was Mrs. Clinton.”

    Grassley added new details stating, “Furthermore, he was told by these same officials that Yunus was communicating with Secretary Clinton and her staff for assistance and, in turn, Secretary Clinton’s staff put pressure on the Embassy in Bangladesh to intercede on Yunus’ behalf.”

    The World Bank also unexpectedly decided during Clinton’s tenure in 2012 to rescind a $1.2 billion loan to Bangladesh while the IRS was pressuring Wazed. The funds were sought to build a key bridge near Dhaka.

    EXCLUSIVE: Gingrich On Russian Investigation: ‘The Fix Is In’
    http://dailycaller.com/2017/06/19/exclusive-gingrich-on-russian-investigation-the-fix-is-in/
    TED GOODMAN
    6:53 PM 06/19/2017

    Former Republican Speaker Newt Gingrich is deeply concerned about Robert Mueller’s ability to lead a non-partisan, unbiased investigation, he said in an exclusive interview with The Daily Caller News Foundation

    “The fix is in,” Gingrich told TheDCNF. “This is the establishment counter-attacking legally when they lost politically.”

    Gingrich is specifically concerned about the fact that Mueller’s ex-law firm, WilmerHale, gave $326,798 to Hillary Clinton in the run up to the 2016 presidential election, compared to the $628 that the firm donated to Trump.

    WATCH: Video at link http://dailycaller.com/2017/06/19/exclusive-gingrich-on-russian-investigation-the-fix-is-in/

    Robert Mueller, a distinguished attorney who served 12 years as FBI director under former president’s George W. Bush and Barack Obama, was appointed to serve as special counsel for the Department of Justice in its investigation of any links or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump.

    Since his May 17 appointment by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Mueller has put together a team of lawyers including former prosecutor and WilmerHale partner Jeannie Rhee and former DOJ attorney Andrew Weissmann.

    “I love this in terms of transparency, [Rhee’s] job was to defend the Clinton Foundation against Freedom of Information Acts,” Gingrich said. “I mean, you can’t make this stuff up.”

    “Another one was repudiated by the Supreme Court, nine to zero in the Arthur Anderson case, where they said that said he had hidden evidence,” Gingrich asserted.

    “The same guy did something similar in hiding evidence against Enron, and four people spent a year in jail who were innocent,” Gingrich said, likely referring to Weissmann.

    Gingrich slammed Republicans for not doing enough. “Unfortunately, all too many Republicans are sleepwalking and pretending this is all okay,” he told The DCNF. “And they don’t do any research. They don’t look at, what’s the background to what’s going on here? This is not a fair game. These are people who are out to destroy Trump.”

    Gingrich said that when he began digging deeper into Robert Mueller, he discovered some worrisome facts. “You couldn’t make this up if you were doing this for a novel,” Gingrich asserted. ”

    “The left is desperate to find a way to defeat Trump,” Gingrich said. “And, they’re desperate– they cannot believe Trump beat them. Therefore, the Russians must have done it.”

    Gingrich also asserted that at the Justice Department, among those who were politically active, 97 percent of the donations went to Clinton, compared to Trumps 3 percent.

    “So, when you say to me, ‘Do I worry about Mueller as an investigator?’ I think, well, do I worry about a department that’s 97 to 3 [percent], that would pick somebody who’s from a law firm which is 99.81 [percent]? Uh, as a historian, yeah, I’d worry,” Gingrich concluded. “And then you look at who he hired and it gets worse.”

    Gingrich spoke to TheDCNF’s Ginni Thomas as part of her Saturday Night “Leaders”series.

    BREAKING NEWS: FISA WARRANTS FOR TRUMP WIRETAPPING CONFIRMED

    Obama Advisor Rhodes Is Wrong: The President Can Order A Wiretap, And Why Trump May Have The Last Laugh

    Following Trump's stunning allegation that Obama wiretapped the Trump Tower in October of 2016, prior to the presidential election, which may or may not have been sourced from a Breitbart story, numerous Democrats and media pundits have come out with scathing accusations that Trump is either mentally disturbed, or simply has no idea what he is talking about.

    The best example of this came from Ben Rhodes, a former senior adviser to President Obama in his role as deputy National Security Advisor, who slammed Trump's accusation, insisting that "No President can order a wiretap. Those restrictions were put in place to protect citizens from people like you." He also said "only a liar" could make the case, as Trump suggested, that Obama wire tapped Trump Tower ahead of the election.

    It would appear, however, that Rhodes is wrong, especially as pertains to matters of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance, and its associated FISA court, under which the alleged wiretap of Donald Trump would have been granted, as it pertained specifically to Trump's alleged illicit interactions with Russian entities.

    Attorney for Bernie Donor Class Action Calls DNC ‘The Ultimate Ponzi Scheme’;
    "‘we expect to find much more evidence’ in discovery"

    http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/06/20/exclusive-attorney-for-bernie-donor-class-action-against-dnc-talks-with-breitbart-news/

    Backers of Bernie Sanders are suing the Democratic National Committee (DNC) for fraud based on last summer’s hacks revealing systemic bias for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 primary campaign.

    The class-action lawsuit, Wilding v. DNC Services Corp., is underway in federal court in Florida, where it is awaiting a ruling on the DNC’s motion to dismiss heard in April. The plaintiff class, Bernie donors who also gave money to the DNC under the assumption of its impartiality in the 2016 primary contest between Clinton and Sanders. The suit alleges fraud, negligent misrepresentation, unjust enrichment, and a consumer protection violation.

    The claims are based on the celebrated leaked emails and memos from the “Guccifer 2.0” hacks last June. The leaks appear to show direct assistance of Secretary Clinton to the detriment of Senator Sanders. The novel legal theory is based on the donors having been duped by the DNC’s claims of impartiality.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    Remember who Guccifer 2.0 is? He's one of the Awan brothers who worked for DNC EX-Chair Debbie Wasserman Shultz.
    The State Department has opened a formal inquiry into the possible mishandling of classified information by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her aides.
    The State Department has opened a formal inquiry into the possible mishandling of classified information by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her aides
    Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, confirmed the department's formal inquiry to Fox News.
    Clinton's spokesman, Nick Merrill, said: 'Nothing's been more thoroughly dissected. It's over. Case closed. Literally.'
    A State Department official told MailOnline: 'Due to privacy considerations, the Department cannot provide any information regarding any current or former employees' security clearance or access to classified information.'
    Earlier this month Senator Grassley launched another investigation into Hillary Clinton over whether the former secretary of state meddled in a Bangladeshi corruption probe to help a Clinton Foundation donor.
    'This new evidence of pay-to-play and special treatment reinforces the appearance that donations to the Clinton Foundation resulted in favorable treatment by Secretary Clinton's State Department,' Grassley said
    FYI: Because basic US security clearances are active for a certain number of years... Secret is usually 10 years, top secret is usually 5...etc... Just because someone has a security clearance doesn't mean they have access to secure information. That is on a "need-to-know" basis. A security clearance may be active, but you can't just go look at anything you want.
    An active security clearance is just something that looks good on a résumé...you may have it, but you can't do anything with it until you are hired. It seems ANYONE can go through the process to get a basic security clearance. You don't have to be offered a job or position.
    Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., criticized congressional Democrats Tuesday for making what he called "reckless, baseless allegations" about President Trump's involvement in Russian activities during the 2016 election campaign.
    "There are members of both the House and the Senate who [say] 'I’ve seen evidence that is more than circumstantial, but not direct,'" Gowdy told Fox News. "There is no way it can be more than circumstantial but not direct."
    Gowdy, who serves on the House intelligence committee investigating possible connections between Russian officials and members of the Trump campaign, said a member of the panel "said this week that he has seen evidence [but] he can’t tell us what it is [and] it’s not beyond a reasonable doubt.
    "There’s no way to defend yourself against those kinds of baseless, reckless accusations."
    Gowdy was likely referring to the committee's ranking member, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who told ABC's "This Week" that "I think there is evidence" of Trump colluding with Moscow.
    "I can’t go into the particulars of our closed investigation," Schiff said, "but I also think there is evidence of obstruction [of justice]. But in both cases, I would say, whether there is some evidence doesn’t mean there is proof beyond a reasonable doubt.”
    Gowdy also told host Tucker Carlson that he hoped the House intelligence committee's investigation would be wrapped up by Labor Day "in a perfect world."
    LIES
    Nobody noticed our warning about Russia hacking the election -
    because we made it when the p**** tape came out says Obama's homeland security chief.
    1. Former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson testified Wednesday before the House Intelligence Committee
    2. Johnson said the release of the Access Hollywood tape eclipsed the government's warning about the Russian cyber attack
    3. He also said Obama administration officials had to be careful about the warning because Donald Trump was saying the election was going to be 'rigged'
    Fending off criticism that the Obama administration should have let the public know about Russian cyber intrusions sooner, former Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said the government's warning got ignored, thanks to the release of the 'p****' video that almost derailed Donald Trump's campaign.
    'I think the larger issue is that it did not get the public attention that it should have, frankly, because the same day the press was focused on the release of the Access Hollywood video,' Johnson told members of the House Intelligence Committee Wednesday, explaining how the October 7 assessment ended up below the fold.
    Johnson also pointed to Trump's own statements during the presidential campaign, which forced the administration to be more cautious about articulating the Russian cyber threat.
    'One of the candidates, if you recall, was predicting the election was going to be rigged in some way and so we were concerned that by making a statement we might, in and of itself, be challenging the integrity of the election process itself,' Johnson told the committee.
    'This was a very difficult decision but in my personal view, something we had to do,' the former top DHS official added.
    Even before appearing personally in front of the committee, which is one of the congressional panels probing Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election, Johnson explained some of the setbacks he experienced when trying to protect the country from the threat last year.
    In a pre-released opening statement, Johnson said he tried to offer assistance to both the Democratic National Committee and state election officials against Russian cyber intrusions, but was rebuffed.
    Johnson said he wanted to deem election infrastructure 'critical infrastructure,' giving it various domestic and international cybersecurity protections, but state election officials responded negatively to the idea, fearing a 'federal takeover.'
    'I convened a conference call with secretaries of state and other chief election officials of every state in the country,' Johnson wrote in his statement. 'I told state officials that we must ensure the security and resilience of election infrastructure, and offered DHS’s assistance to the states in doing that.'
    Johnson said he also reiterated the idea of designating election infrastructure as 'critical infrastructure.'
    'To my disappointment, the reaction to a critical infrastructure designation, at least from those who spoke up, ranged from neutral to negative,' Johnson said.
    'Those who expressed negative views stated that running elections in this country was the sovereign and exclusive responsibility of the states, and they did not want federal intrusion, a federal takeover, or federal regulation of that process,' he explained.
    'This was a profound misunderstanding of what a critical infrastructure designation would mean, which I tried to clarify for them,' he added. But the response was so negative, Johnson said, that he put the idea on the back burner and encouraged state officials to simply ask the DHS for help if they needed it.
    Thirty-six states eventually asked for DHS help, Johnson testified.
    The Democratic National Committee also didn't want help from the feds.
    The FBI had spoken with party officials, but DNC officials used the cyber security firm CrowdStrike instead of seeking government assistance.
    Johnson, of course, was asked if the government response could have been improved upon.
    'Hindsight is brilliant, hindsight is 20/20,' the former DHS secretary pointed out. 'In retrospect it would be easy for me to say I should have bought a sleeping bag and camped out in front of the DNC in late summer with the benefit of hindsight,' he said.
    ~~~~~~~~

    Keep in mind that the Awan brothers (Guiccefer 2), who worked for DNC Debbie Wasserman Shultz were behind and responsible for what happened with the fake Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.  Why didn't the DNC  want help from the feds and used CrowdStrike instead. Was this part of the cover-up by Clinton and Shultz that also was related to the voter fraud that robbed Sanders of the DNC nomination? And then there was the murder of Seth Rich who had passed on over 40k DNC emails to Wikileaks detailing what was going on behind the scenes.

    A dying British Intelligence agent has made a series of stunning confessions
    after being told that he only has a matter of weeks to live by doctors, including that he was tasked
    with the murder of Princess Diana.

    http://www.neonnettle.com/news/2293-dying-mi5-agent-admits-to-killing-princess-diana-in-deathbed-confession

    80-year-old John Hopkins is a retired Mi5 operative who worked as a hitman for Uk Government and claims to have carried out 23 assassinations between 1973 and 1999.Hopkins was a 38-year veteran and claims that his job often involved discretely assassinating individuals who "posed a threat to national security".During his time serving the United Kingdom, he trained extensively as a mechanical engineer and munitions expert and claims to be "seasoned" in unconventional murders involving poisons and chemicals.The retired British assassin says he worked as part of a cell of seven operatives who were trusted to conduct political assassinations during a period he describes as "when MI5 operated with less external oversight".

    Many of his top secret cell's victims were politicians, journalists, activists, and union leaders. Mr. Hopkins claims that Princess Diana was the only women he ever killed, adding that; adding that; "She was the only target where the order came directly from the Royal family."

    When asked about how he felt about taking the life of The People's Princess, he said he felt "ambivalent" about her death, describing her as "a beautiful, kind-hearted women" who had her life cut tragically short but that "she was also placing the British Crown at risk", saying: "The Royal Family had evidence that she was planning to divorce Charles.""She knew too many Royal secrets. She had a huge grudge and she was going to go public with all sorts of wild claims." "My boss told me she had to die – he’d received orders directly from Prince Philip – and we had to make it look like an accident."

    "I’d never killed a woman before, much less a princess, but I obeyed orders. I did it for Queen and country." He claims the operation was run under strict control from Buckingham Palace in direct cooperation with the mainstream media.The high-level conspiracy involved collusion between the media and Palace to "square their stories, make sure everybody was on the same page. It was a well-run operation.

    "Speaking about the conspirators in the operation, Hopkins said: "British journalists all answer to editors who answer to oligarchs who all want knighthoods from the crime family at Buckingham Palace." "There is no free press in Britain,""We got away with murder." After being told that he only has a short time left to live from his doctors, Hopkins said he will spend his final weeks at home, but admitted that he expects to be arrested after his admissions, or even silenced, saying: "I can’t say that I care an awful lot.""If they try to take me out, they'll be doing me a favor now" He explained that he would be "long-gone" should an investigation be opened as it would "take forever" and be "very complicated" due to the limited records on the operations, adding that "most of my colleagues are already dead".

    Hopkins claims that the main conspirator in the murder of Princess Diana was Prince Philip, but said that he "will never be charged with anything, of course". “If Prince Philip ever let himself be analyzed by a psychiatrist I’m sure he’d be diagnosed a psychopath. He has all the dark triad traits.” Should this case ever be investigated, the most important witness would be Mr. Hopkins boss who apparently died of a heart attack in "the early 2000s".When Hopkins was asked why he didn’t expose the plot earlier or refuse the job at the time, he explained: "MI5 agents swear allegiance to the Crown," "We can’t be impartial when it comes to the Royal family.""At best I would have been done for treason, at worst Philip would have designed a grisly fate for me."

    Democrats Block Witnesses from Testifying in House Intel Probe
    Scheduled appearance by key witness Carter Page canceled

    http://freebeacon.com/national-security/democrats-block-witnesses-testifying-house-intel-probe/

    House Democrats are continuing to block testimony from about a dozen witnesses who sought to appear before the intelligence oversight panel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election.

    Congressional officials said one of the key witnesses, former informal adviser to the Trump campaign Carter Page, was scheduled to testify at a closed hearing of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

    But Democrats on the committee blocked the testimony, asserting they needed more time to prepare.

    "He's the guy that many Democrats have been pointing to as the supposed mastermind and you would think they were interested hearing his story," said one Capitol Hill official.

    Rep. Adam Schiff (Calif.), the committee's Democratic leader, did not respond to emails seeking comment on the blocked testimony.

    Schiff has asserted in the past that evidence of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign is "more than circumstantial," contrary to other intelligence and congressional oversight members who have said there is no evidence.

    On Sunday, Schiff appeared to back off his earlier comments somewhat. Pressed on ABC News to explain the nature of the evidence of collusion, the lawmaker said: "Well, I think there is evidence. I can't go into the particulars of our closed investigation. But I also think there is also evidence of obstruction. But in both cases, I would say, whether there is some evidence doesn't mean there is proof beyond a reasonable doubt."

    Schiff was referring to obstruction of justice charges against President Trump. His mention highlights a new tactic adopted by Democratic critics of the president regarding the Russian investigation: playing down charges of alleged collusion while playing up claims of a cover up.

    "The same people that say that there's no evidence of collusion say there's no evidence of obstruction," Schiff said Sunday, noting claims presidents cannot be charged with that crime. "I don't buy that," he said.

    Schiff told ABC that the allegations of collusion are focused on Russian hacking of private emails and making them public, and that Russians were working with Trump campaign staff and coordinated the influence operation. "But I'm not prepared to say that there's proof you could take to a jury," he said. "But I can say that there is enough that we ought to be investigating."

    Schiff was not asked about why witnesses have not appeared before the panel but said the committee is "far closer to the beginning of the investigation than we are to the end"—suggesting Democrats plan to draw out the probe for many months.

    The FBI has been investigating charges of Russia-Trump campaign collusion since July, based in part on a controversial private intelligence dossier produced by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele.

    Many of the dossier's claims, including charges that Page met with Russians intelligence figures, have been debunked.

    In addition to Page, the House wants to hear from several current and former intelligence and law enforcement officials, including fired FBI Director James Comey and Adm. Mike Rogers, director of the National Security Agency.

    Paul Manafort, who served for a time as Trump's campaign manager, also has said he is willing to testify before the House panel. Another figure in the controversy, former Trump adviser Roger Stone, also expressed an interest in testifying in a public hearing in March.

    Page, however, was the only witness who had been scheduled to appear before Democrats blocked the testimony.

    The House committee is also investigating whether the Obama administration improperly requested the unmasking of Americans' identities that were kept secret in classified transcripts of communications intercepts.

    On May 31, the committee subpoenaed records from the FBI, CIA, and NSA related to requests for the identities of Americans caught up in foreign intelligence surveillance. The request is related to unmasking requests made by White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice, former CIA Director John Brennan, and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power.

    Some records have been supplied to House investigators, but more information is being sought by the panel.

    Additionally, the House panel announced it has issued subpoenas to Trump's former White House National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn, and Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen.

    The Senate intelligence oversight committee has heard testimony from former FBI Director James Comey and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

    Page, head of the firm Global Energy Capital, told the Washington Free Beacon he was disappointed by the failure to permit him to testify.

    "This has been like remaining defenseless in a battle against kamikaze special attack squadrons with dozens of bombers," he said. "In blocking my open testimony, they seem committed to covering up the extreme disgrace of the Obama administration's secret FISA warrants and influential propaganda tactics which unsuccessfully tried to rig the 2016 election."

    Page outlined what he plans to tell Congress in testimony in four letters sent to the House and Senate intelligence oversight panels between May 22 and June 8.

    The letters reveal Page was set to appear before the committee on June 6 and urged that some of his testimony be public.

    "In support of that forthcoming appearance, I have recently been in contact with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and other Justice Department officials regarding the multiple outstanding requests for immediate release of the illegitimate FISA warrants that were allegedly filed by the Obama Administration against me in 2016," Page said in the May 22 letter. He was referring to Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court warrants reportedly issued.

    Page denied any improper interaction between himself and Russian business or government officials.

    Instead, he is charging that the Obama administration engaged in a political intelligence-gathering operation targeting Trump and his associates.

    Page stated that he had no role in any government active-measures operations involving the election, but that he discussed the release of hacked documents with two officials of the state-run Russian RT television network.

    "The only discussion I can recall where WikiLeaks even tangentially came up with any Russian occurred on the afternoon of Monday, October 24, 2016," he stated.

    "In the moments before recording a TV interview at RT's studios in London where I was visiting for a few days on my way to Johannesburg, the host and staff mentioned in passing that the news they saw about WikiLeaks in the U.K. papers seemed like it might potentially be interesting. However, they anecdotally noted in passing that it was unfortunate that there was no way to efficiently sort through the high number of documents which had been released. Based on this limited verbal interaction, it seems unlikely that Russian entities such as this television network were in any way directly involved in the WikiLeaks cyber activity," Page said.

    Noting he has had extensive business contacts with Russians since 1991, Page said he "personally saw no active measures by the Russian government or other foreign entities to interfere in any political campaigns whatsoever—neither last year nor at any point throughout my life."

    A U.S. intelligence assessment made public in January charged that Russia had engaged in a cyber-enabled influence operation during the 2016 campaign targeting the U.S. democratic system and aimed at denigrating Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

    The FBI, CIA, and NSA were divided on the level of confidence their analysts had regarding whether the Russians conducted the operation with a clear preference for Trump. FBI and CIA had high confidence, while NSA voiced moderate confidence.

    Former DCCC Insiders’ Firm Banked Millions From Ossoff’s Failed Campaign
    Ossoff paid Dem firm more than Republican Karen Handel's campaign spent the entire election

    http://freebeacon.com/politics/former-dccc-insiders-firm-banked-millions-from-ossoffs-failed-campaign/

    Ossoff's campaign pulled in more than $23 million in contributions during the record-breaking special election in Georgia's sixth congressional district. The campaign disbursed $22.5 million and had $1 million left on hand at the time of its latest filings to the FEC.

    The astronomical expenditures from the Ossoff campaign turned into a bonanza for a firm that was launched by veterans of the DCCC.

    ~~~~~~
    Comment: Similar to President Trump Handle spent less on her campaign and won which has a lot to say about the radical left Democrat party. Losers.
    Next up: a special counsel to probe Team Obama’s obstruction of justice
    http://nypost.com/2017/06/20/next-up-a-special-counsel-to-probe-team-obamas-obstruction-of-justice/
    By using fired FBI Director James Comey to attack the new Republican administration, Democrats have opened up a legal can of worms for the Obama administration.
    Under sworn questioning, Comey has veered off the topic of President Trump and Russia and revealed several damning incidents in which his predecessor’s administration politically interfered in the Hillary Clinton email investigation. And now the Senate will investigate Team Obama for obstruction of justice.
    Specifically, the Senate Judiciary Committee announced last week it will hold hearings to “examine then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s involvement in the Clinton email server investigation.”
    The findings of the powerful panel, which has oversight of the Justice Department and FBI, could lead to a separate criminal investigation and the naming of another special counsel — exactly what Trump needs to distract attention from his growing legal woes.
    What Lynch did reeks of obstruction. According to Comey, his ex-boss:
     Ordered him to mislead the public about the criminal investigation of Clinton by calling it a “matter” rather than an investigation. (He complied with her wish, even though it made him feel “queasy.”)
     Refused to recuse herself from the case after Comey confronted her about a secret June 2016 meeting she had with former President Bill Clinton — five days before his wife was scheduled to be interviewed by the FBI. (Hillary was cleared three days later.)
    There are also concerns, raised by a New York Times report, that Lynch privately assured the Clinton campaign she would keep FBI agents in check and wouldn’t let their investigation “go too far,” according to a message the FBI intercepted involving then-Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
    Worried his boss had a “conflict of interest” overseeing the Clinton investigation, Comey testified he “considered whether I should call for the appointment of a special counsel” to take over the case. That would’ve been the right move. Curiously, Comey instead shut down the probe and let Clinton off the hook — three weeks before her presidential nomination.
    How compliant was Comey? Here’s how he responded to Lynch’s demand he “align” his rhetoric with the Clinton camp: “I just said, OK.” What other Lynch meddling did he go along with during the yearlong Hillary probe, which was marred by suspiciously generous immunity deals, favorable ground rules, a near-absence of grand jury subpoenas and a rushed closure ahead of the DNC convention?
    These are questions the Senate judiciary panel, chaired by GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley, might like to ask Comey, along with: Who else was in the room during your meetings with Lynch, and did you take notes?
    Any notes could be subpoenaed, along with the Wasserman Schultz document, which, contrary to recent media reports, isn’t fake. (Comey testified such reports are “nonsense.”) So might the NSA recording of Lynch’s chat with Clinton, which took place on board a government plane.
    Congressional sources say Lynch will almost certainly be called to answer Comey’s allegations under oath. What did she and Bill Clinton discuss? Did the investigation come up? Why didn’t she recuse herself, despite admitting it looked bad? And did she in fact promise the Clinton campaign a whitewash?
    Also on the potential witness list are Wasserman Schultz and Amanda Renteria, the senior Clinton campaign staffer with whom Wasserman Schultz claimed Lynch had been in communication.
    Democrats will have a hard time dismissing the inquiry as partisan. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary panel, is on record saying Lynch’s suspicious actions are a legitimate avenue of inquiry. Those remarks provide Republicans the political cover they need to aggressively pursue Comey’s leads, and refer evidence to the Justice Department for criminal prosecution.
    Because Attorney General Jeff Sessions would recuse himself from that probe, too, the case could end up in the hands of a special prosecutor, who, like Robert Mueller, would have wide-ranging authority to poke around.
    That’s a nightmare scenario for Democrats, who are betting the 2018 midterms on convincing voters of Trump graft. Much to their chagrin, Comey’s testimony has given Republicans grounds to shift focus from the Russia probe back to Clinton-Obama corruption.
    Witch-hunting Democrats may soon learn that turnabout is fair play.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~

    The Senate Judiciary Committee has opened a probe into former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s efforts to shape the FBI’s investigation into 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, the committee’s chairman announced Friday. In a letter to Ms. Lynch, the committee asks her to detail the depths of her involvement in the FBI’s investigation, including whether she ever assured Clinton confidantes that the probe wouldn’t “push too deeply into the matter.”
    Fired FBI Director James B. Comey has said publicly that Ms. Lynch tried to shape the way he talked about the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s emails, and he also hinted at other behavior “which I cannot talk about yet” that made him worried about Ms. Lynch’s ability to make impartial decisions.

    Napolitano: Is Trump honestly under criminal investigation by the FBI?
    By Judge Andrew P. Napolitano Published June 22, 2017 Fox News

    Napolitano: Trump is the subject of an investigation
    I was surprised last weekend when one of President Donald Trump’s lawyers told my colleague Chris Wallace twice on “Fox News Sunday” that the president is being investigated by the FBI and then told him twice that he is not. This same lawyer repeated the “not being investigated” argument on a half-dozen other Sunday shows but did not repeat the “is being investigated” remark.

    This produced substantial consternation in the news media and at the White House, since the president himself had tweeted over the weekend that he is being investigated for firing FBI Director James Comey by the same person -- Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein -- who recommended Comey’s firing and that the investigation is a “witch hunt.”

    So, who is correct, the president or his lawyer? Is the president under criminal investigation by the FBI? If he is being investigated as he claims, is the investigation a witch hunt? Here is the back story.

    When Donald Trump began running for the Republican nomination for president in June 2015 and made novel arguments indicating that his view was that Europe should essentially pay for its own military defense, this triggered concern in European capitals, and it resulted in the commencement of now well-documented British surveillance of Trump and his principal adviser on national security matters, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. The foreign surveillance was eventually passed on to American spies, who acceded to demands from the West Wing of the Obama White House and handed over transcripts of conversations and names of participants.

    This went on throughout the presidential campaign and into the transition period after Trump had been elected. President Barack Obama’s national security adviser, Susan Rice, recently confirmed that she ordered transcripts of surveilled conversations and names of participants -- this is called “unmasking” in intelligence community lingo -- and James Clapper, the Obama administration's director of national intelligence, recently acknowledged under oath the existence of the foreign and domestic surveillance of Trump in 2015 and 2016, as well as the unmasking.

    One of the unmasked conversations handed over to Rice was between Flynn and the Russian ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak. Portions of that conversation were leaked to The Washington Post, and that generated interest in the relationship, if any, of the Trump campaign and transition team to the Russian government. This provoked a preliminary FBI investigation into Flynn. Flynn apparently was interviewed by the FBI while ignorant of the FBI’s possession of transcripts of his conversations with Kislyak. If Flynn lied in that interview as has been reported and speculated in the press, he committed a felony. When Trump learned Flynn had lied to others, he fired Flynn.

    Flynn’s firing ratcheted up the investigation of him, as well as the investigation of whether anyone from the Trump campaign had assisted Russian intelligence agents in hacking into computers in America in order to affect the outcome of the election. When Trump asked then-FBI Director Comey whether he, Donald J. Trump, was being investigated by the FBI, Comey thrice said no. That was, no doubt, true at the time. The Trump campaign and the Trump transition team were being investigated, but not Trump personally.

    Then the president, according to Comey, asked Comey to drop the investigation into whether Flynn had lied to FBI agents and others. Then, according to Comey, the president suggested to him that he could keep his job as FBI director if he dropped the Flynn investigation. Then the president fired Comey.

    After Comey released a portion of a memo containing his recollections of his conversations with Trump, Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller as independent prosecutor to investigate and charge, if appropriate, anyone criminally implicated in the Flynn investigation, the investigation of Russian attempts to influence the 2016 election, the investigation of whether any assistance was provided to the Russians by any Americans, and all related matters.

    Because Comey presented a credible case for the possibility that the president interfered with a federal criminal investigation, Mueller no doubt is investigating that as one of the related matters. In that respect, President Trump is under investigation by the FBI, which seeks to determine whether he attempted to influence a federal criminal investigation for a corrupt purpose.

    Yet as a sitting president, Trump cannot be indicted for any criminal behavior committed while in office. Hence he cannot be a “target” of an FBI investigation. I use the word “target” in quotation marks because it has a technical meaning -- namely, that the Department of Justice plans to seek an indictment. So though it is true that the president is being investigated by the FBI, it is also true that he is not a target of that investigation.

    Of what value is a criminal investigation of a person if that person cannot be charged criminally? Can’t the president fire an FBI director without fear of a criminal investigation of his purposes? Can’t he order the cessation of a criminal investigation without fearing that the FBI will investigate the reasons for his order?

    Sometimes criminal investigations exonerate a person, and the FBI, without fanfare, will just drop it. In the case of the president, any evidence of guilt will go to the House Judiciary Committee, not a grand jury, as the constitutional remedy for presidential criminal behavior is impeachment, not indictment. Of course, the president can fire a director of the FBI for any non-corrupt reason, but if he does so after a rejected quid pro quo as Comey has publicly claimed that Trump did, that can trigger the woes Trump now endures.

    We live in perilous times -- times that demand fidelity to first principles. The core of those principles is the rule of law: No one is beneath laws' protections, and no one is above their requirements. No one.

    President Trump on Thursday called allegations his campaign colluded with Russia “a big Dem HOAX,” firing off several tweets to highlight testimony Trump says vindicates him and taking shots at the Obama administration for failing to stop the Kremlin’s alleged attempts to meddle in the U.S. presidential election.

    Trump’s morning tweet storm came a day after former Homeland Security Adviser Jeh Johnson testified before the House Intelligence Committee that he hadn’t seen any evidence that Trump or his campaign “colluded, conspired or coordinated” with the Russians – a charge often levied against Trump by detractors, who’ve yet to produce evidence backing the claim.

    “Former Homeland Security Advisor Jeh Johnson is latest top intelligence official to state there was no grand scheme between Trump & Russia,” Trump wrote, seemingly also referencing the three occasions during which ex-FBI Director James Comey infamously informed Trump he was not personally being investigated.

    President Trump's attorney called for an investigation into former FBI Director James Comey's "illegal" leak of his personal memos to the media.

    Talking to Sean Hannity, Jay Sekulow called on Special Counsel Robert Mueller to investigate Comey for leaking the contents of memos detailing several meetings and conversations with Trump.

    "James Comey leaked information that he got in a meeting with the President of the United States. ... If there were an investigation going on right now, the investigation should be James Comey," he said.

    Sekulow emphasized that Comey stored the memos on government property, leaking the information from there to a friend at Columbia University to give to a New York Times reporter
    .

    The action was a "violation of the law, clearly," said Sekulow.

    Comey revealed how he shared his memos in a Senate hearing earlier this month.

    Sekulow said the "so-called investigations" of Russian interference in the election have been going on for nearly a year, yet there continues to be "no smoking gun" when it comes to the question of collusion by the Trump campaign.

    Trey Gowdy: 'Ironic' Dems Now Complaining About Hacking They Didn't Want Examined
    http://insider.foxnews.com/2017/06/21/trey-gowdy-ironic-democrats-complaining-hacking-russia-dnc-clinton-trump

    Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) said it is "a little ironic" that some Democrats are now complaining about the lack of help they got with the Democratic National Committee's servers, which were compromised by Russia during the 2016 campaign season.

    Former Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson testified before the House Intelligence Committee Wednesday, saying he was not pleased that the DNC did not turn over its compromised servers to the Department of Homeland Security for examination.

    Host Martha McCallum asked Gowdy why he thinks Democrats might not want the DNC server examined.

    "Let me hazard a wild guess: that there may be something else on that server that they didn't want law enforcement to see?" Gowdy remarked.

    The South Carolina congressman also reminded that former FBI Director James Comey alleged that former Attorney General Loretta Lynch asked him to call the Hillary Clinton email scandal a "matter" rather than an "investigation."

    "I don't know what her point was, although I think I do know what her objective was," Gowdy said, implying it may have been political.

    DOMESTIC TERRORISTS PAID BY GEORGE SOROS

    Antifa Website Calls for Violence Against Trump Supporters
    http://insider.foxnews.com/2017/06/21/its-going-down-antifa-website-calls-violence-against-trump-supporters-capitalists

    A disturbing Antifa website is calling for physical violence against supporters of President Donald Trump and capitalists.

    The site "It’s Going Down," which has become a resource for self-described “anti-fascist” activists, encourages violence against anyone it labels a "fascist."

    A poster published on the site in April shows a man in a Make America Great Again hat being cornered by a bayonet, with a silhouette of a Nazi in the background.

    "It’s Going Down" justifies violence as not only good but necessary to the survival of minorities and the disenfranchised.

    A library of downloadable publications on the website offers long-form articles that call for “insurrectionary mass resistance and refusal” and militant tactics against employers and law enforcement.

    Evergreen State College, in Olympia, Washington, has recently been under siege by Antifa protesters, forcing the state school to move its graduation off campus.

    Just days ago, Antifa "black bloc" activists clashed with a pro-Trump group which organized a free speech rally in Olympia and then walked to campus. The rally's organizer said he was pepper-sprayed and left bloodied by the angry mob and some rally-goers found their vehicle tires slashed.

    An Antifa protester was arrested in Pennsylvania last week for allegedly using a flagpole with a nail on top to stab a police horse.

    Other Antifa protesters were accused of using bike locks to attack opponents in Berkeley last month.

    BREAKING NEWS TRUMP 6/22/17: Gowdy on Jeh Johnson Testimony (Loretta Lynch)

    The DNC knows exactly who "hacked" their servers, and it was NOT the Russians. They didn't allow the FBI to do an IT Forensics examination because the FBI not only would have discovered the Russians didn't, but that a DNC staffer did. If they find that out, it gets the FBI involved in the subsequent murder of that staffer. If that murder investigation goes to the FBI, or is solved by the DCPD, all of those c.c. TV cameras, bodycams, hospital records, etc. begin to leak out to the public, and 4chan solves the murder of Seth Rich over night. They have no incentive to either cooperate with the FBI or solve Seth Rich's murder. Remember, they really thought they were going to win and that Loretta Lynch would still be AG, Comey would still be FBI Dir. and Hillary would be sitting on the throne. They over-played their hand, and they're scrambling in a massive CYA mission.
