I think the following comment made in response to the video is worth consideration:
.4:01 "google is a private company; it can do whatever it wants"
Another rebuttal to that is this: no, Google(Alphabet) is not a private company. It is a corporation, and corporations enjoy state protections of various sorts. Furthermore, google has a deep connection with academia and the money it leeches from those institutions, as well as the NSA, and various government regulatory bodies. It is protected, subsidized, and part of the government in various informal ways. This is the definition of economic fascism. Google isn't a government monopoly, but it does have advantages to truly free market alternatives which must climb a higher-than-zero barrier to entry.
Google's behavior is therefore not excused as a peaceful decision made by participants in the free market. It is a propped up institution protected by and serving the state. It is violently enforced upon us to a degree less than full on socialist mandate but more than non-violent voluntary market exchange.
