There is a filter between 'I' and 'U', without this mystery filter there is no 'I' and there is no 'U'.

Does it remind you of a matrix?

Is that me in the mirror?
Without the mirror there would be no asking or thought of asking.
Without the mirror there would be no, "Who am I?"
If that isn't me in the mirror, is it friend, foe, or both?

Mirror, like silver quicksand into dimensionality.

I was going to stop posting cause I get a sense many people do not want to hear these things but thought I'd share a little more about what direction I'm coming from for what ever it's worth....

The purest spirituality I have ever experience wasn't from any religion, bible, dogma, rituals to achieve a particular state, ......the list goes on...... the point is pure spirituality there is a absence of all of that.....EVERYTHING. I mean, how does one describe 'something' like that fully? You can't from my experience, words and sentence structure fall apart as if hitting an invisible force field. You'd think I just stop talking at that point because what's the point if it's going to do that anyway.

When I think of it the truest explanation is that watching the interface of the material world with this force field is like watching the greatest fireworks unimaginable. It's like waking from a dream wanting to write it down as fast as possible before you forget. You know instinctively your losing details at a pretty good rate before ever putting pen to paper.

That is 'me' in spiritual writings, it's that experience at the interface and writing down as much as I can recall. Is it complete? No. Nothing important put down to words is complete as alluded to in the analogy regarding the writings at the interface.

In short, true spirituality depends on nothing for itself. If no book was ever written, no spiritual center ever built, true spirituality would still be.... and purer still.

Hey, if you are read this Carol, "purer still" is like "less is more". Ironically this post isn't less is more  but.......

It is less is more, more or less.

Sounds like that moment where everything you knew has been, is, or will be just vanished and all you are left with is infinity.

The greatest gift the mind can give us is a clean slate. It's like seeing everything new for the first time. I wonder if that is what is sometimes referred to as the 'third eye'. One still retains information obtained by human perception but it no longer holds ultimate sway.

In the world (human perception) but not of it (third eye?).

We are avatars in the game of life though, ultimately, "not this, not that".

    Where is the substance?
    Where is the light?
I feel time spend here is like living underground, eating from a can.
Even the junk food should at least have some flavor to it.
Re-posting information from the web without thoughts on why a person felt moved to post it feels like road kill to me. Not exactly stew material.

Going through the motions is worse then never having motion. ugh

Apparently I didn't get the news that the zombie apocalypse was in full swing.

It's unclear to me if your post is related to mine above but if so sorry it made you feel this way JoeEcho.
No need to be so low spirited. Sounds awful. That wasn' t my intention at all. I had no time to sit and write anything and just posted the video when I found it .

What captured my attention in the above Hitchcock interview is the moment when he mentions a clear viewpoint , clear horizon and creativity  being the ingredients of happiness. I can relate to that and when that video arrived on my plate today it came as a sort of echo to these words you wrote in a prior post : "The greatest gift the mind can give us is a clean slate It's like seeing everything new for the first time " .As an artist I experienced this numerous times. I never know in advance what I am  going to paint nor what the next stroke will be, when it will start and when it's it's going to be complete. Much like a magician I pull something out of nowhere and it materializes in front of me , through me. The mind is silent, yet the body is busy and I feel I walk between two worlds with joy.

It was a general observation, mudra.

It's my fault really, thought I had the channel turned to an insightful documentary, turns out it was a cartoon.

Even cartoons can be insightful when you change the direction you look at things.

If you can see it, no matter how recent, it's the past. The future known is the the past repeated.

That is the best analogy I have ever read for the defense of privacy. I was just thinking, it is as if the PTB put so much resources/ funding into developing the digital world to be the ultimate spy 'satellite'. It is either that or a mighty fine coincidence.

George Orwell and company saw this coming, they just didn't have the specifics (maybe?).
