An interesting passage by Seneca, hope all can enjoy its insight. It has much to offer.

Seneca; Letters from a Stoic; Letter II wrote:“How can novelty of surroundings abroad and becoming acquainted with foreign scenes or cities be of any help? All that dashing about turns out to be quite futile. And if you want to know why all this running away cannot help you, the answer is simply this: you are running away in your own company. You have to lay aside the load on your spirit. Until you do that, nowhere will satisfy you.”  -- Seneca

The essence in the following songs feathers well with the underling essence of this post.

There is a reluctance to return from a 'soul vacation'. (Out is In, In is Out)

The best part is knowing that the 'return' is still part of the vacation.

    Enjoy every minute!!

Death takes a vacation, what does it look like?

Death takes vacations, life does not.

Deep in the Firefly Forest of Overland Park, Kansas little gnomes made a home. But how did they get there? Experience the feel-good story of paying it forward, one tiny magical house at a time.

Knock down the place - you're alone, it's true!

The word and idea of 'spirit' is a manifestation, it doesn’t exist and yet here it is.

This photo is so synchronistic. Prior to waking this morning I had a dream that I was standing in front of a very solid wooden door that I had to struggle slightly to push open. Upon opening it this was the vision/experience on the other side. I told myself "without fear" and stepped through. Pure joy.

What a wonderful experience, Carol. Would you equate that to an OBE?

Source/ Home (since language requires a word) is not an experience but arrival and departure is.

Some moments I experience going home and sometimes I experience departure from the same.

The Dream-Life is incredible! It's intoxicating when taken as a whole.

(at least that is my experience)

It looked more like this type of dark brown wooden door only wider and made of thick slats.

Looked more like this when opened on the other side - more vibrant colors.

No. Not an OBE. A waking lucid dream - fun fragment. Love the awake/aware experiences of existing as pure spirit consciousness.

My use of OBE may be a misnomer (depending on anothers definition of the same) as what I term an OBE is fluid by nature.

The description of your experience reminds me of the phrase used by Aldous Huxley in The Doors of Perception.

Perhaps the following meme resonates with you. It's a good one when relating it to perception as seen through the eyes of a sentient being.

Videos like those stand as examples of why the Universe is so captivating, Carol, for sure.

"I deny entering the state of denial." or "I have never entered the state of denial." Denying such an affirmation only deepens it.

Are you in the state of denial? Careful......

Well one has to determine as to which state one is in to figure out if it's the state of denial or not. Being someone open minded keeps one shifting from one position to another.

True, I know that first-hand but it also has the feeling of being on the hot seat or jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless like water. If you put water in a cup it becomes the cup, if you put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle, if you put water in a teapot it becomes the teapot, and water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.

That video is an excellent example of existential inspiration.

WATER is only water when contained in some way otherwise it could not be mentioned.

Imagine all is water, would it then BE water? What characteristic would it have to justify the term?

    Formless is Nameless is Unknown.

Incarnation as water, the first waterfall.

Life is like an indicator. It is as if someone left their blinker on in a great cosmic craft by mistake.

What would the greatest all-time never to be surpassed indicator indicate? It certainly wouldn't be an indication.

One of the best questions ever posed, IMO, is: Why does anything exist?

Of course, there have been answers to that question from places like science, religions, and mystics but should one dig deep with an open-mind with questions to the answers provided then the plot thickens……………….and thickens. What is cool in the age of the Web is that we are allowed glimpses from many other people with their experience with the ever thickening plot. Like a hive waking up from a seemingly long cold winter.

And for an added bonus, any explanation to the mystery of this existence does nothing/ zero/ nada to diminish it. This again is never more evident as when one digs deep.

Should one ever come to the end of the mystery, their mystery has just begun.

    FABRIC of LIFE

When alluding to the indescribable it is lost in translation, that in the end, it appears just a weave in the fabric of life. How perfect is that?

No matter how great they KNOW what they know is, it’s all part of the fabric of life.
No matter how great the action is, it’s all a weave in the fabric of life.

    The fabric is exquisite.
